The original foot prints of the Lord are not visible now which are coverd completely and in that place feet of the Lord made of stone small in size are kept for darshan to the public. The original foot prints of the Lord on a big rock were seen about 20 years back. Now only the photograph of which is kept there .

First 500 steps will be easy. Rest very steep almost 60° angle. Beware of monkeys and wild animals and serpents. When climbing it is advisable to wear salwars and half pants. Carry enough water. Taps dont work and theyre dirty. Small hand held eateries available which sell fruits and packed juices. But costly.

Good place to visit. Situated top of the hill. Padaalu is the telugu word which means foot in English. It is believed that Sri Venkateswara Perumal First foot print on one of the seven hill namely Narayanagiri. Have a time must seen lord divine foot print. Located 5km from the main temple. Timings 6a.m to 6p.m only.

This is the place where Lord Venkateswara first set his feet on Earth. The foot print is available here and devotees visit this place at the top of Narayanagiri hill for the divine sight. The beautiful Tirumala temple complex and town is completely revealed from this spot. The Srivari Paadalu now is protected with glass frame on a firm stone platform and pilgrims cant touch the foot prints.

For me, I got a strange feeling looking at the Srivari Paadaalu. Said to be the place where Lord Venkateshwara 1st set his foot in Tirumala. Maybe because I see too much of controversial videos like “are gods aliens?” kind of thing 😊But anyways, it is a wonderful place which you MUST VISIT in Tirumala.

Perhaps the highest point of Sheshadri Range of hills. One can have the closest darsha of the Lord of Kaliyuga. Superb views and an excellent snaking and winding road. Sadly only people with private transport can visit. Well maintained Q system and plenty of shops selling memorabilia. Better avoided in rains as torrents of heavy rain might sweep away your vehicle. Be very cautious in driving. However TTD authorities are requested to place more road markers in a couple of newly formed junctions for first time visitors.

Feeling bleesd but need to wait more time

A must visit place when one is at Tirumala. Do lookup the history behind this place, it is interesting and speaks of the significance of this place.While I visited it was raining quite heavily, and the fibre box around the Srivari Paadaalu had water droplets inside and we couldn’t see anything properly.Do note, one has to climb a few stairs to get there.Also the drive to this point from main TTD area is very good, bear in mind it’s a forest region.

The place is regarded as the first place that the Lord Venkateswara placed his foot on Earth and came walking down to the temple of tirumala, its considered as the first spot of the start of this epic... The original stone was later replaced and encased in glass as the stone was gradually withered away due to constantly being rubbed by the fingers of all the devotees. Now we are supposed to just pray and make ourselves to have witnessed such a holy place....

Walking upto Tirumala was a tiring but also an amazing experience. One needs to be fairly fit to climb up around 3000 stairs along with the walkways in between. This makes you realise how fit you really are.

Start walking from srivari padalu to reach the Lord tirumala venkateswara swamy....There are around 2388 steps. But thrilling experience while walking..Only 1.5 hrs to reach the temple. All facilities are arranged by TTD. But no food available in this route.

One of the must visit place in Tirumala, because of the crowd security staff will not give enough time to stay and enjoy the view from viewpoint, Steps leading up to Sri Vaari Paadalu are very narrow, if there is huge crowd it may get difficult to reach there and come down, forest cover surrounding the place is beautiful, especially if one can observe the light falling through tall trees surrounding the car parking.

Its Lord Venkateshwaras first foot sculptures. Beautiful surroundings and very scenic place. 2.5 kms from main temple with steep road. The road next to museum leads to this beautiful place. We went at 6:30 and its very chilled and awesome to see the sun rise. Enough car parking place available. 50 steps to see Srivari Padalu. Earlier you cam touch the steps but now its covered with glass. No fee to see the place and to park your car. Jeeps are available to reach here if you dont have vehicle. While going to this place you can see Silpa Kala Thoranam which is another attraction in Tirumala. One time not more than 10 people can see the Padalu. I did not see any facilities around but you can get quick snacks.

During winter, this place will be so beautiful covered with dense fog and you will feel that you are between the clouds at those times.

Good place to visit. Bit steep to drive vehicle up. Took some 15 min to drive up. After reaching the destination, we need to climb up by some 20 more steps. The paadam is displayed in a glass box. Slightly crowded, but we can reach the paadam in 2-5 min, depending upon the crowd and queue. After visiting, we have some refreshments like cut vegetables / fruits. Driving down hardly takes 5 min. Overall good.
