Regional science centre imparts knowledge to people and is considered as one of the most important resource of education. There is an entry ticket of Rs 10 for each person and for the students the entry fee is Rs 5. It opens at 10 am to 6pm and on Sundays it remains opens till 6.30 pm. The regional science centre offers a lot and have pre historic and ancient things. The main attraction of this centre are the 3D screen, a science park outdoors, and the prehistoric section, people are curious to visit the centre its not a crowded place and the environment over there is calm and composed.3d show I even good at this planetarium. This center is often called as science temple because of its exclusive collection. Take a tour inside the center to learn more about this subject through their various scientific displays. For children, this center has become of the most popular hotspot, especially for education programs that are conducted in this center. Through these interactive programs, children get educated about various aspects of the existence of science in our daily life.

Yesterday we have been to this planetarium. The show they played was Back to the moon for good. This is a show thats 3 years old and its available in YouTube as well. The show is not at all informative. Its an advertisement by Google about their plan for lunar exploration.Children and their parents are like talking loudly while the show was on. Patrons need to be informed to be silent.Show was started 20 min late as well.I think the regional science centre director or manager doesnt know that the old show is still being played in the planetarium!!!!Sir please concentrate on your exhibits and the planetarium!!!

Nice place to visit after the darshnam. Both for kids and adults. I enjoyed finding out my age on other planets (there is a dedicated computer for this.) Planetarium was good but needs to update the show with more information and education from other random stuff. Well manicured gardens.

Entry fee ₹30 and planetarium fee ₹30, the gardens around these buildings are nice, the science museum is not as good as the Birla ones. Some of the exhibits are not working, the planetarium is a small one maybe 30 people can sit at the max. The Show was supposed to start at 4:30 pm but was started at 4:55 pm due to people who bought the tickets were still roaming outside. The show that was being played was not at all informative!BACK TO THE MOON FOR GOOD! This was the video that was being played. Its available on YouTube as well!Read about the show below; After the Space Race of the 1960s, interest in the Moon quickly waned. The Google Lunar X Prize is hoping to change that, reinvigorating interest in Moon exploration and colonisation. This time, however, its different. A $30 million dollar prize is being offered to all citizens of the world, not governmental space corporations, for achieving a successful Moon mission. The initiative is designed to instil a new generation with the wonders and importance of space travel and exploration. The criteria for winning the prize will involve landing a module on the surface, travelling at least 500 metres, and returning HD images and videos back to Earth. Established in 2007, the mission deadline has been extended to December 2017, with three teams still in contention as of 2016: SpaceIL, Moon Express and Synergy Moon.A 24-minute fulldome planetarium show, Back to the Moon for Good, chronicles these teams efforts as they compete for the coveted prize. The above show is just about Googles plan for exploring the moon. The crowd is not being informed to maintain silence. Every one was talking, phones were ringing etc.For better planetarium experience visit the Birla ones at Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad!

Good place for children and adults too. There are a range of interactive physics experiments. Maintenance can be better, given that they have plenty of funding.

As resident of Tirupati science centre is one place i loves very much and visits frequently with my family . Also suggest to my friends in other cities to visit this when they are in Tirupati. With over full excitement want to see planitorium on 27.5.2017 and deeply disappointed with the show. They showed one YouTube video advertisement of Google X lunor prize. Its very very bad. Government put crores of money on this project but the people maintaing this was utterly failed . Earlier i have visted many planitoriums this programme is the worst one. The maintaing officials must visit other centres and see how they are running. There so many vedios on ISRO succes stories to show . Please develop the centre to the expectations of the people.
