A very calm and peaceful temple. Built in recent times(in 90s), the temple has many interesting information, right from different herbal plants to the various Siva temples locations. Very silent place and good for meditation. Strict rules to maintain discipline. Located at heart of the city, the temple is well maintained.

A very beautiful and lovely temple. Well maintained with a lot of sannidhis. Extremely neat with lots of information. There are no businesses inside or outside the temple nor any sort of donation collection. They have a strict dress code, but help you out in case you are not aware about the dress code by providing free dress for temporary use. There is a beautiful herbal garden where u can go for a walk during particular timings. Only minus I felt was that one of the staff at the front office was a bit rude when we tried to sanitize our hands. Overall I would give this place a big old 5 stars.

A very well organized temple, hatsoff to the trustees for keeping all the staff and committee working there on a daily basis in sync. I was amazed with the way everyone maintained decorum and silence. There were boards every 50 mts insisting on silence. It was hard for me believe that I was in the temple with no buzz and noise around. I also like the complete list of principles to be followed by the devotees going to sabarimala. It had a lot more ideas/principles that are true and are to be followed wholeheartedly rather than for a show-off. They also have list of dos and donts for the guruswamys. They had a single location for all donations and offerings, also showcasing that they are not in this service for generating wealth.

If you are new to Trichy then while visiting other places like Rockfort, Srirangam etc. please find out some time to visit Shri Ayyappa Swamy Temple too. Definitely it will give you a different experience, the atmosphere will automatically bring divine mood to you. You will definitely feel as if you are away from town and crowded place.

This is a private temple so you wont find any hundies there, but you can do offerings such as pushpanjali, ghee lamp..., this is a very well maintained temple, visiting there in the evening will fill your heart with immense joy, you can also have a darshan of 1581 holy stones brought from various holy places.
