Mar yohannan mamdhana chaldean Syrian church very old with good neat and well maintained church is located in east fort, the main place in Trichur town.

This church belongs to the assiriyan church of the east. There are 3 services weekly(Wednesday,Friday,Sunday). It is situated right in the heart of Thrissur town. The church is well known for its cemetery,which has appeared in number of movies. It also has a wonderful garden in there which is maintained very well.

A good place to pray.

There is mass on every wednesday, friday and sunday . This church belongs to Chaldean syrian community. The atmosphere is really peace full.
