Had a Kerala meals, north indian meals, masala papad. Both meals were hot, fresh and tasty. However the masala papad was disappointing, it had a wet topping which made the papad soggy and was extremely spicy with gracious amounts of chilly powder. We had to just keep it away and didnt eat itBut north indian meals made up for this.It has the following- soup- roasted papad- laccha paratha- veg pulav- gobi manchurian- paneer butter masala- Mixed veg- daal- salad- raita- sheeraPriced at around 200+Was tasty and wholesomeKerala meals is 130 and had all the standard items with an ari payasam. Both were good.Ample parking.Near peringaav junction.
Recently visited. Due to covid only take away is available. Dosa was yummy. Lots of parking space. Good ambience. Nice family restaurant.
Good vegetarian restaurant with elegant interiors. Food is good and reasonably priced. The place is neat and clean and the overall the ambience is good. They offer plenty of parking space also.
This place is near Daya hospital. Easily visible while driving. i came here with my family for a vegetarian lunch. Im a pure nonvegetarian & I love my meats- I rarely eat from pure veg restaurants but this place blew my mind. Food was so tasty that it made me forget meat n fish in general. loved the decor, seating n everything. genuinely polite staff & food is moderately priced too.We had onion soup & mushroom soup- i loved both.We had garlic naan with malai paneer kofta curry- yum yum yum. the curry is not at all spicy & is mildly sweet- i loved it. We also had Kashmiri pulao with pepper mushroom & gobi manchurian.. loved all 3 especially the gobi dish- it was yum yumm yummm. We also ordered one meal- it comes with 8-9 side dishes, sambhar, pappadam & payasam including curd n rasam- a no nonsense standard veg meals.Ill definetly visit this place for lunch next time im in thrissur & I suggest this place to everybody who wants to take their family to a hotel other than Akshaya,Poonkunnam😅
Food I loved but unfortunately as some work was underway inside the premises, we had to dine out under the trees. Good ambience.
Lots of parking space available. Due to covid restrictions, seating is not permitted inside. The food can be parcelled and be eaten in the outdoor seating area.We ordered dosa - it came with sambar and chutney. Food was tasty. The snacks counter outside is very popular and serves tea , coffee , milk , pazhampori , samosa , vada besides other snacks .Clean ambience.
Calm atmosphere. Spacious restaurant with good ambience. Best place to visit with family.
If you love real south indian veg food go for it. Great amabiance and nice service. Tea and snacks have separate counter
I cant give a 5 on 5 for the restaurant as the food is quite expensive and the quantity is very small. The food is tasty though. The TeaKadai offers excellent service at affordable rates. The coffee is my favourite.
I dont know how they developed this vibe. It is just a vegetarian restaurant..yet a small sanctuary for selfie animals to working guys wanting a good coffee after office hours. All kinds of people at one place...kinda cute. Looks professional and neat too
The food has balanced taste very tasty meals by the way and the hotel is so clean
We are quite pleased with the delicacies recently ordered. They were very delicious and authentic. Even our fastidious guests were happy. The chef deserves a pat on his back. 👌The TEA MAKER, Sri Venu,at your peringavu tea kadai is an expert in the preparation of varieties of TEA and is very quick. 👌🌹My one and only disappointment is your unjustifiable and exorbitant prices. Please do look in to it and make it affordable. It is a request being unanimously expressed by my coterie of friends and acquaintances numbering around 24, who are all your daily customers. All the best! With prayers, 🙏
Had north and south thali ..North Thali - lot of variety in the items.Pulao, roti/ thandoori parantha , butter paneer, mixed veg , raita, roasted papad, sheera, dal curry. Every single curry tastes yummy and was served hot.South thali - rice , Sambhar , avial, moru curry , payasam , upperi, pappadam, curd.Sambhar is a bit on the watery side with almost no dal in it. Payasam was also not that great, but overall it was good.
Veggiee Times... Whenever I love to have vegetarian food definitely I would drive to Madurai vegetarian.. Mostly I would go at noon time when the rush is at its peak... But the service and hospitality once were inn is appreciable.. Even if we have confusions in selecting dish the guy helped us in choosing the right one (Waiter who served us)... Ordered regular dishes with different flavours and a special mushroom dish.. The food was so rich and delicious as earlier.. The ambience and parking is totally well maintained and is located just out from the rushes of the city.. Making review for the first time even i have gone there so many times...
Good vegetarian food. Usually the wait is more. Very much crowded even at late nights. They serve decent vegetarian food. But I did not like their tomato chutney served with dosa.Take away time is lesser than expected . Great place to have a coffee
Now dine in has closed. Take away is there. Adjacent one teashop as part of madhurai hotel is working with chats and chai available. The food is great! Wheel chair accessible parking and entrance is there.
Food was good. Just visited here for tea and snacks. Though COVID was at peak but young crown was there. Food was good and service could have been a bit faster.
Overpriced menu. Food is good, but can be better for the price. Have a okayish parking space. And general outlook is good for outdoor fooding
Little overpriced. Quality of food is below par. We ordered varieties of North Indian dishes and all taste the same. Schezwan fried rice has more sweetness rather than spicy.
Food is good. Only takeaways now. But takes some time to get your order. Probably due to shortage of staff as an inevitable fallout of covid. Otherwise a nice place to dine in.
I must this is go to restaurant for a veg lover..lots of variety vegg dishes and snacks..tea shop nearby offers again good snacks.. biscuit teaPros:Variety of veg dishesTaste is goodGood ambianceConsPricey ..I must say thats the major con I found here... everything cost extra bucks..Service is average only..though not bad..they dont give that welcoming vibe..These are my opinion..apart from thatGo n see for yourself..
The overall experience was really poor.we ordered masala dosa which was soo bad in taste ,not hot and was so thick and salty.even after complaining and replacing the dosa it was not hot and the dosa was a little better. The butter naan and garlic naan was nice and the aloo Gopi masala was tasty too.But the wheat tandoori porata was just okay. The paneer butter masala was really bad..Before 1 year when we visited the food and service was nice but now both the food and service was really disappointing.Even after complaining about the food the response from their side was not impressive.
Nice place for a tea break. Chat corner is so good. If you want to try biscut tea which has become the current trend in Thrissur yes that is available here. Not only biscut tea every tea and coffee varieties are the best and they have a wide varieties of tea and coffee. My favourite is Sulaimani and black coffee.
Best coffee but snacks are not good
Good veg food ..good open tea snacks shop in front of the restaurant
Yesterday we have ordered paneer biriyani and the taste was utterly very bad. Waste of money...
Had Chaat (good in Thrissur) and it was fine👍 along with good cup of tea
A good vegetarian restaurant with elegant interiors. Food is good and reasonably priced. The place is neat and clean and the overall the ambience is good. They offer plenty of parking space also. The service could have been better though. They also have a separate outlet for tea/coffee and snacks right outside the main restaurant.
One among the best vegetarian restaurants at thrissur. Ample car parking . Quality maintained in making n serving food . 4/5 given as the price are slightly on the higher side ..Their tea shop Tea kadai gives good snacks ..
Had Paneer biryani last day. Charged 197 rupees which is much higher. Taste was very poor. Not even in the range of a Tomoto rice. Only could dumb it in the waste bin after having three four spoon. Had dosa before many times, it was good.
Good hot take away food. Best coffee I have had in a long time
All the staffs are great here. They use less plastics. The bottles for water are made of glass. The food made here is the same as the traditional way of making it. The food tastes superb. Great quality and superb quantity. Ambient space . Has live music . Musics are played here are of Tamil and Malayalam languages. Pure vegetarian. Sauce and all other things are always available at the table. Everything is modern. It is different from all other restaurants in the area. Excellent restaurant. Always filled , sometimes you may need to wait.
I bought channa battura today.they charged 110 for food ,10 rs.for small container and 3 rs.for carry bag(plastic) ,besides 6 rs.as GST.Total Rs.129., Very sad to say food is hopeless, especially the channa..An ordinary preparation ,even small village hotels will serve in better taste.Feel desperate and befooled......
Appreciate prompt response from business for my review below .My low rating was primarily due to sour batter with which dosa was made and From a service perspective I have no complaints.———————————-What do you order when you are at South Indian vegetarian ?? - most common dosaDosa batter was sour and dosa though looked good but tasted soggy and masala was dry.Value for money - zero - 85 Rs for Masala dosa.Ambience- clean & COVID -19 measures are takenAmple parking spaceFood - didn’t meet even basic expectationWe took a stop at this eatery when travelling from Kochi to palakkad and if you want to quick refreshment you can visit here.
Tea kada was a fabulous spot for Tea and snacks. But, now they are not serving like before. Quality of the food is not upto the mark. In case of Madurai, its a good choice for vegetarian food.
Best place for morning and evening snack outs .
Good food, quick service for most items. Reasonable quantity of food per serving. No too pricey, especially considering the ambience. For a family of vegetarians, there is no better place in the area to dine out. I would certainly go again.
Good ambience, food, amenities and customer service.Tasty food with lots of varieties and options to choose from. Nice customer service and interaction. Parking space with lot to handle 10 plus cars. Easily locatable from road. They seem to have outside quick snack facility but didnt check it out.1 star less as the chef team prepared a dish in their own way which was out of our or common expectations. And ruined the dish in my view. The service employee is humble to note the same to improve in future.Good fresh juices.
Tea Kadai...Very busy place in the evening for Tea,snacks, chats, shakes.Mostly Good.1 week back I got samosa Outside hot inside Cold...felt it as an old, re roasted one..
Very good tea and snacks, masala tea is my favorite
Best quality and tasty food 😋 one of the best spots in the town especially their Tea Kadai. A must try for all.
It is one of the the best vegetarian hotel 🏨. I recommend for all the veggies 🥘🍲🥙and veg haters. Costomer service is very nice. but we have to wait little long.🚗🚙Have free parking lot 🅿️ for parkingFood they serve in here is very delicious and outstanding.😋👨👩👧👦👩👩👦👨👧👦👨👧Whenever I come to this place half restaurant is occupied.👨👩👧👧👨👨👦👨👨👧👧👨👦👦Staffs are friendly towards us.👨🏻🍳😀The restaurant is well cleaned and have good hospitality.I recommend this restaurant to all veg haters and veg lovers.🥰
Good tasty vegetarian food. Paneer Biriyani is awesome. Nice ambience.
One of the Best Masala Tea I ever had..
Consistent quality in food. Excellent customer service. Good parking space. Hygiene and compliance to covid protocol. All this in reasonable price
It was a takeaway dinner. The food was awesome 👌👌worth every penny. The only drawback was the long wait for takeaways. If only they could make that quicker.
I ordered north indian thali meals through a food delivery app. Quantity , packaging and quality is good. Masala level is optimum.Bit costly but you will not regret
Excellent customer service, they are always keeping the place hygienic. Good food, tasty masala dosa and coffee. They have good parking facilities. Peaceful atmosphere. Good shelter for the travellers. Reasonable prices for every foods. Better place
Good location, tasty foods and attractive offers from swiggy and zomato
Good vegetarian restaurant, on the Thrissur-Shoranur Road.-Ample parking facility-Nice restaurant ambience-Courteous staffImprovement areas-Chapatis are average. Not the usual phulkas you expect-Bit over-priced-Usually crowded during weekend evenings (Pre-Covid era)
Stopped for a take-away, All the items Ordered, Vada, Chola-Bhatura, Onion Uttappam& Acouple of plates of Puri, were tasty,, especially the Chola.
The best tasting food in Thrissur. The quantity and quality is amazing.
Got pretty much excited when I visited here for the first time. A well maintained restaurant with good ambience and ample car parking. The north Indian cuisine served is pretty good. Contrary to the name, the South indian varieties were not that great. The little outdoor cafe as an extension to the main restaurant serves good coffee and a nice spot for quick bites. But the mojito I tried here sucked big time. Overall the place is good and would go again here.
Decent veg restaurant in the city, has ample parking area.. Try out north indian dishes
Excellent vegetarian foodVery tasty foodExcellent parking spaceGood serviceReasonable rateHygienicBest for familiesChaats availableNeed to improve quantity a bitNot at heart of the city ( coz of that enough parking space and calm atmosphere)North Indian dishes are very goodHave normal Kerala mealsChinese food are also meet your expectationsNorth Indian thali meals must try
Always a reliable place to fall back to, esp. for the veg lovers out there. The place is well maintained, the service good and the food, tasty. Offers nimble snacks and good coffee/tea in the evening too
I had chole bature and thattu dosa, also tried Pizza uttapam. All was good. Recommend it
Service not upto the mark...seems supplier is not get proper salary...
Safe and neat place and ofcourse good food
Nice Place to have coffee and snacks.
Is one of the very few vegetarian restaurants and really love to eat again and again the quality of the food and everything is very well maintained and we have ample space for parking the hotel it can be seen from the road and good food is always a speciality the chef supergood we have a wide range of dishes and we can pay by card or through cash and I think they are setting up a new fruit juice counter on the entrance.
One of the best restaurants available in thrissur.Good food and even better interior and exterior designs. Nice background to enjoy your food increases its taste too. Really loved it. Amble parking facility.
A good place for vegans
A pure vegetarian hotel situated in the outskirts of Thrissur Town in Shoranur road. This is a bigger hotel with a good capacity. They provide all kinds of vegetarian food. They have got a good parking space too.The hotel is mostly crowded during lunch time. During that time, the food will take sometime to get delivered. They have got a good drink called as Jigar Thanda which is a bit costly too.
I have heard about this Hotel as one of the best Vegetarian Restaurant. What I have heard is correct . I liked their Tea hence I had 2 tea
Coffee does not taste as good as it used to 😒
North Indian foods... same taste
One of the best veg hotel..Had a top class breakfast here...Clean and well maintained interior...
A little crowded but worth the wait, food has above average quantity with above average pricing. Ambience is also quite eye-catching and simple.
They delayed in serving south indian meals. They didnt give us sweet with North Indian meals. Only after we asked they said its over and can instead give ice cream. They could have mentioned it while serving. Rates are reasonable. Ambience is good. Update: The food quality has worsened over time. Also the service is bad. Stopped having food from here.
Absolutely rubbish! The quality and taste of most of the dishes (pav Bhai, chaat) we tried is pathetic, and has really deteriorated. The samosas and kachoris tasted just about ok, but were too small and oily. No chutneys accompanied the snacks. Lousy service. Overpriced, not value for money.
Madurai Vegetarian is a good restaurant for variety of tasty South Indian, North Indian and Chinese food, bit costly though. The hotel provides decent service, good ambience and has adequate parking space. With all the positive aspects that it offers, slightly higher price range should not be a major concern for vegetarian foodies.
Good. Nice location and chats are good
