We bought ‘adbuda biriyani (rs 300) & rajaavinte kudukka (rs 250)’. The food was average. Not worth the money I guess.

Loved the food options for lunch. Esp. 1 Rajavinte Chattichoru was enough for two of us.Kizhi pathiri and kizhi biriyani also was very tasty.

Food is becoming horrible. 3 months back, their Food was good. Now it’s not tasting good. To coverup bad taste of masala, they put lots of chilly. More over the attitude of lady sitting in reception was too bad. But the man who is running the hotel, behaving good.

Today we had lunch at combination. Based on some reviews on google we prefer to go there.....we ordered Rajavinte Chattichoru for twobut now I know my mistake. The food was not so good for the amount of Rs 250 per plateAnd the attitude of the lady who was in the reception was as if we had come to eat for free. This is such an amazing place to enjoy and have tasty homely meals. Its not noticeable from the main road. If not familiar we have to put the GPS. They provide with delicious, nicely presented home food with the name itself is also variety. They provide mud pot and glass and plate for eating and drinking also. The water they gave is so pure and cold. Its nice. They have a small menu and the dishes are excellent. Not much space in here, but provided space are suitably arranged. Rate is also decent. Must try

The ambience was very nicely maintained and all dishes were served mud plates and mud glass.. and above all the food served there is unmatched. Kizhi porotta was Nice.. It has the quantity for 2 person... Its very spicy and highly flavoured... Its a little inner side from the main road.

Place with a difference. Kizhi biriyani, kizhi porotta and special combos of chattichor steals the menu which are offered in big portions. Ambience is good with limited seating but the food compensates for all other shortcomings at the place.

I ordered egg pothichoru today through swiggy it was very tasty and fresh . I really liked it . I will be ordering more from here

Tasty food served in a unique manner. Seating is limited. The bheeman kizhi and thondimudhal are must try dishes. The combos they offer are very unique. If you are going to Puzhakal side you must try out this restaurant once.

Went here again during the covid period. The food was stale and felt like they increased the rate. We mixed up the items in the menu while ordering, hence the exact rate was not mentioned. Also their top selling items like chattiyile oonu and thondimuthal was missing, probably due to the current situations(Previous review is given below)Its all about the feel more than the food.Ofcourse their dishes are great, but the way they serve it is quite brilliant. They offer all their items in traditional clay pots and to have kanji & payar that way is just heart whelming. Also they have various different items such as pazham pori beef, dhjkndf and atlast a glass of butter milk is just savouring.It is a small place and mostly crowded at the peak hours but a must go place for all foodies.

This is a small family run place..with about 26 seats..gets pretty crowded during lunch hours..First visitHad seen reviews online of their chattichoru and when a friend who was visiting said he wanted to try the food we decided to go try it out..we tried most things on their limited menuChattichioru(food served in a terracotta kadai) has veg,chicken,beef and fish options.we tried the last three..the koorka upperi and chutney was outstanding..but the beef was poor..chicken was ok..they only had sardines and mackerel which are not my favourite,so i didnt try themWe also ordered chicken biriyani and thondimuthal(spring chicken with ghee rice)Wldnt recommend either .spring chicken was good but they served flavorless biriyani rice instead of ghee rice..Second visitA friend went back after our first visit and he learned that their chef had actually been on leave when we visited..so went back today and the beef was far improved..also tried the kizhi porotta today..spicy goodness of green chilly and pepper in the beef just shone through..both the chattichoru and kizhi porotta were goodWant to go back and try their beef and pazhampori combination later

Lunch starts at 12.30pm. Dont be late for lunch or you may miss their signature chatti choru dishes. Rates are affordable and quantity is good. Food is on the spicier side so prepare your taste buds!Parking is not available as this hotel is on a narrow road. It is better to park cars below near the Puzhakkal bus stop.Owners are very friendly. Definitely worth visiting again.P.S Kizhi porotta and kizhi biriyani is available during lunch hours till closing. They require a good twenty plus minutes for preperation. I would recommend takeaway as seating is limited.They accept online payment and cash. No card payment.

Combonation near Puzhakkal bridge, Thrissur is a small restaurant serving food in some unique way. Its a very small shop having four or five tables. Rice meals served in earthern pots (chatti) is one of their unique dishe. Another one is Kizhi porotta.Worth visiting..
