Well maintained Government Tourism office. We went there to plan our further journey into Kerala, mainly towards Idukki to see its Dam water gates that were just then opened. The person at the help desk correctly guided us to cancel our idea of visiting as it had rained very heavily in Kerala, all gates of all Dams across Kerala were opened and flood alerts were given in most of the districts.As per their advice and instruction, we cancelled our Kerala ppl and returned to Karnataka.Office staff courteous, gave us number of brochures to plan our next holiday in October when we can see the neela kuranji flower beds all across their mountain ranges, that bloom once in 12 years!
