Excellent seafood varieties for lunch.. Kappa Biriyani was yum😍 Chicken ularthu with parotta is really a mouthwatering combo. The food and hospitality at this restaurant should be appreciated. Got an opportunity to try Varutharacha chicken curry and Kerala parotta. The taste was good and I do recommend this place. The management is trying to expand there menu asap. Do check it out

I think its an okay place. Theres no fancy food items and very limited menu. I prefer best for lunch. family with 4 members can enjoy their meals very well at same time but its not best for a group of peoples. About the food its good, they serve lunch with variety of Currys.

We reached the restaurant around 3:30 PM.. and we were greeted very warmly by the owner. The tea was good and hot pazham puri to accompany... Great food, great service...

The food was allright.But the smell of meat was stopping me from enjoying it.And service was not enthusiastic, may be because it was not rush hour and only one other table was occupied.But when asked around it was pointed out as good

One of the best restaurant to which I have been to lately.Try the normal meals... I cant believe that Im saying this, but the food rocks. They serve a thick curd as well as payasam (sweet) along with it. The fish gravy with a small piece of fish in it is complementary. Also, try out the beef fry as well as fish fry (especially the sardine).The seating is spacious as well as the view is a bit different. It felt like I was shifted to one calm place away from the business like setting of the city.NB: There are two restaurants (both of the same owner), but try the one that is a bit away from the road. If you have any doubts, view the accompanying pics.

Nothing extra or special from normal places we eat from. Ordered lunch, veg meals at 110 rupees and Non veg meals with fish fry at 150 rupees. Simple servings of curry.

Kuttanad is a nice option vide General Hospital Area for the traditional nadan cusine from Kerala as well as North Indian tastes.They give a good ambience and a 3 digit pricing.

I would say this is the best place in Trivandrum to have the best beaf biriyani.. the place is not that easy to notice from road. Its oppsit to the st Josephs school. You will get complementary veg soup here.. must try place.. food taste is much better than kerala hotel in kazhakkutam bipas.

For authentic Central Travancore Kuttanadan food (from the famed houseboat-dotted backwaters of Gods Own Country) in Tvm, go nowhere else... Delicious, finger-licking pomfret , pearl spot, tuna, seer fish, sardines, mackerel, duck, chicken... All at very affordable rates. Highly recommend ...

I visit Thiruvananthapuram about three times per year.This visit I ordered seasoned cassava (vaviche kappa) and a very traditional fish curry cooked with gumbogee (vaviche meen). It was very good/authentic.The owner mentioned that the lunch menu was also very good. It certainly was. Today for lunch I ordered deep fried fresh anchovies (nettoli) and the lunch thali. It was exquisitely/authentically good.Well worth visiting the restaurant just to sample their lunch menu.
