Their chilly chicken is the best in town ! Food quality is very good. The shop has grown into a bigger outlet with much room for dining in. Theyve also opened an ice-cream outlet next door which I havent tried out yet. Recommended 👍

The interior was fine. And food was good. But they close the kitchen around 9 pm and if youre dining in late u can literally feel the urge of the staffs to close the restaurant and go home, lol. We had to shove the food in 😅

All the way from kanyakumari!, Tried the all time favourite open house chilli chicken after so long, it fullfilled my tastebuts yet another time!, Parotta is slightly stiff, and it cost 13 per parotta but it goes well with their chillichicken, the veg kurma is a total disaster, with ready made greenpeas and other other stuffs, overall the dinner is satisfying, open house chilli chicken is a must try!

I think they make a chicken dish and name it chilly chicken....really this people have no idea what is chilly chicken....it can be considered as a dessert instead....so sweet....

Limited items were available for lunch. Tried chicken fried rice, chicken chilly, chicken coconut fry & porotta. Porotta was not that fluffy. It took around 30-40 mins to prepare food. Food was tasty and price was reasonable. Mango panna cotta was good in dessert.

I used to like their chili chicken so much but recently there recipe or chef might have changed since I didnt find a single piece of capsicum in the gravy and the taste was not on point

I have never eaten such a miserable meal in my life. Have they ever wondered how people can eatthese much spicy food? If I had eaten that food yesterday I would definitely have been in the hospital. Its an ok restaurant. I have tasted few things like chicken chilly (which is little sweet, they might have added extra jaggery on top of the tomato). Chicken chettinadu is an avoidable dish, which is not that spicy and tastes like a north indian paneer masala. The kerala parata was good, but there is a bit added sweet in that too.. over all you can try once. I am not sure about the other items on the menu.. check your bill properly, they have added one extra item in the bill, which I have to to ask them to get it removed.

Their chilli chicken is quiet popular. Can give it a try if you are in Trivandrum.

They provided in the early days the best chili chicken in the city but nowadays it is 70-30 sometimes you get not that tasty ones. Paratha used to be the biggest in the city now it too shrunk. The service is good, phone booking is available. They have also extended menu with chilly fish, chicken 65 etc. Reduced one star because even after declaration of reduction of gst (yesterday) to 5% for all hotels they charged 18%. Which could have effectively saved me around 100₹ from my pocket. Overall recommended but hope they eliminate the old gst soon enough.Update (04/12/17): after gst was put down like many hotels who consider getting more out of the customers they too increased price silently without mentioning one word on gst.Before wen I posted one plate of chilli chicken cost 125₹ and then additional gst, now without mentioning gst they increased it by 20₹ to 145₹. Lowering one more star for this atrocious act to its customers.

Open house is best known for its chilli chicken nd we have ordered umpty times nd there is no doubt about it but however our dine in experience was bad today since most of the items we ordered was unavailable for the reason they were about to close the kitchen.. can understand, but they also switched off the AC while we were still dining nd awaiting our order for juice which I felt is bad customer experience.

Worst attittude/experience by the take away counter staff there. Zero custom service. Chaotic takeouts. No bills are given, no name is taken, no numbers and quite a few people are waiting around. They have no idea who placed the order when the food comes out. They are so rude to even the swiggy/zomato delivery drivers and everyone waiting in line . Not sure why there are good reviews of their chilly chicken and fried rice either. Theres nothin special about it. May have been good 20 years ago when there were no others making the dish. Never will I be going there again ! I would recommend going with swiggy/zomato type of delivery if you really want their food. They dont deliver to my area which is how i ended up going there.

I cannot blame God for that because it was my choice to go in. I should have just gone to Radhas(a small shop next to this), but seeing it as a small restaurant, i didnt and opted for this mistake. (Dont judge a book by its cover,i learnt)🤔🤔🤔Usually its one of the either things that can be terrible in a restaurant. Food or service. Here both of them were racing together to get the first position for being terrible. 😐😑While i was seated there, people were complaining of wrong orders. One man was bold enough to ask the waiter to take everything away. 😎😎He had ordered for a chilly chicken boneless and apparently he got it with bone. When he pointed it out, the waiter was like : whats the difference, since it tastes all the same....!!! The nerve...!! 😑😖😠I had just ordered a paratha shawarma and it took more than half an hour, despite just 4 to 5 occupied tables inside the restaurant. It was not as i expected. Just bland. Dont want to tell about the order my friend took, a cold mutter paneer masala. 😳😳Please, there are better options in Trivandrum whose service is much better than their food. We dont have to put up with trash attitude like these. And when you face similar issues, put a heads up like this, so that others will know.😉😉

To get a seat here is a heavy task. Little crowded and small dining space. We have to wait for a long time to get a seat. Staff communication also poor.

Though the price and quantity are okay the taste , quality and the kind of food Ingredients are poor. I ordered chicken chilly and pepper chicken and found strangely that all pieces were neck pieces only. Plus pepper chicken didnt have any taste of pepper.
