I took a driller(bought from US works with 110v ) to one of Thampurammukku electrical shop and the they gave a 210 to 110 converter device and tested right in front of me to see smoke coming out of it and damaged the charging device which takes 18v. The good thing was they directed me to Prompt electrical and the guy Saji assured me that he can make a local 18v converter charger from 210 v. He did make a small converter device which I could plug in 220v and could charge the battery and driller is working perfectly!!! Thanks
