I stayed at SP Grand Days for just one evening. The room was excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful. The only gripe which I had was that the bottle cooler in our room was not working. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Hotel is good for small stays... Recommended for business travelers

SP Grand Days is located near to Trivandrum Central Railway Station (hardly 1.5km). It offers a lot of amenities like restaurants which serves international cuisines, bars, outdoor pool, fitness centre, etc. The hotel is situated 8 km from Trivandrum International Airport.Rooms are spacious enough which have TV providing satellite channels. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Bathroom toiletries are included. Room service is offered 24-hours daily.

Worst mentality of staffs. I stayed with my wife, but one guy stopped me in the gate and asked are you both staying here and gave a very bad look at us, I dont know what these people think about couples coming to stay in their hotels. Very horrible attitude and coming out of the hotel & auto guys had the same behavior, it shows how the public sees this hotel as well. Very insulting experience

This is the worst hotel I ever have been. The people in here is so irresponsible and irritating nature especially the lady staff who was in charge of receptionist. We booked a room and they just rejected our booking due to some improper reasons. I strictly recommend not to book here, as if you are wishing to have a good and better stay.

My credit card was swiped two times and I was asked to enter the pin of my credit card two times to pay a bill at the Spring Days.The bill amount was debited from my account twice. Surprisingly, none of the staff at SP Grand Days wants to accept the fact that the amount was debited twice. They want me to wait for five days and come back with a bank statement to prove my account is charged twice.The waiter even asked me to enter the pin for the third time - as he claims my payment was declined two times.After talking to the waiter for five - ten good minutes, he agreed that the amount was debited but only one time.I notified the reception and some other suit guy and I was told its a payment issue with the swiping machine and the amount will be refunded automatically.My questions:1. Why did the waiter ask me to enter the pin for the second and third time if he is not sure the payment is correctly debited or not in the first place?2. Why risk customers money by asking them to enter the credit card pin multiple times?3. The bank sent notification messages that the amount is debited from the account two times. And I had entered the pin two times. Im aware of the difference between a failed/rejected transaction and a successful transaction. Why cant you even verify this information and solve it without wasting ones time? (I really dont want to spend time writing this review).4. Will I ever get my money back? When can I expect the credit reversal which was wrongly debited for the second time?Not something that I expected from SP Grand Days. Highly disappointed.Not sure if anyone there who actually cares to read this.

Just pathetic. Paid 2600 for an empty room. There was no air conditioning , no toiletries didnt even provided with basic amenities . Waited 2 hour for breakfast . No room service was available ,

I was not satisfied with their food served at roof top area, especially with the oil they used. They said they are using coconut oil, but we didnt think so, it tastes like vegetable oil

Nice experience related to room, stay and room service. Reception Area very hot. With 2 forms to fill up need atleast a fan as it was very humid. Staff were very polite with swift response.

We visited the roof top terrace restaurant. The view from the top and the ambiance is quite good. Its a nice place to spend time and an open place with no need for air conditioning was something we were looking for due to covid times.The food was quite good, however I would rate the north indian dishes better than the local preparations. Saagwaala mutton was very nice.The service is slow, though with the view we didnt mind that much.

Food was soooooo bad! The steak was overcooked and the gravy was too salty. The stroganoff was like fried rice and chilly chicken... Waste of money and time! And most of the items in the menu was not available.. The reason for 2 star is for the view from the roof top and the service. Its a zero for the food. So if you are going here to eat, please don’t waste your time.

An unexceptional hotel that is ocated in the heart of the city. They’ve got a bit of glimmer and gamour upfront. But their services need to improve tenfold.My major disappointment was the food. They seriously need to consider changing their chef or revitalising their menu. The food is so bland, as plain as water. One wouldn’t feel like taking in anything beyond a few bites. I’ve been attending different parties at the hotel, and it has been a disappointment every single time.Their buffet usually has a few starters, main course and dessert. The soups are just for namesake. The starter MAY be nice. They would have one non-veg and other vegetarian starters, of which, if you’re lucky, the hotel might get one right. But the main course is an utter throwaway. There is an array of items (2 non-veg dishes and a lot of vegetarian dishes, all of which are throwaways. Then comes the dessert. They’ve got afew specials on dessert like the butterscotch pudding which is great. But most other desserts are a blunder of achoice.But coming to some of their pluspoints. The rooms are decent and is well-cleaned. They’ve got a moderate size swimming pool on a terrace and a small health and fitness center.

Their rooftop is the place to be! Boasting beautiful views and drinks this place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely tasty even for vegetarians like me. The drinks are a bit expensive but that is to be expected when its a 3 star.They help you plan ahead for birthdays and plays the birthday song and makes the ambience great.Vegetarian food: Paneer jalfrazi, shaam saver, veg fried rice are exceptionally tastyNon veg: chicken stew and appam tried by friends where super tasty

Roof top ambience 😍

Tried the Non-veg buffet priced at Rs 650. The buffet had 3 types of Non-veg, Chicken, Beef and Fish. On chicken they had the Chicken Biriyani and a curry, One beef item, Fish came as curry and Tandoor. Along with that they had meals and a couple of veg curries. Dessert had around 10 items. Will attach photos along with this review.For the price paid, the food was really good. Recommended.The staff is really helpful, offered us a baby cradle.

We went to the rooftop restaurant as well as their bar. The experience was shockingly bad in the bar. While ordering a couple of dishes, we asked for serving plates and they said they dont give plates! We had to negotiate with them to give us at least quarter plates. Food is bad. The fish tikka that we tried was made of old fish, not marinated properly. Service sucks! We had troubles getting what we ordered, and at one point the waiter denied that we had ordered rotis, though we had followed up with the same waiter at least 3 times for rotis! Never going back here.

Great service and decent pricing for the service, quantity and quality they provide. Located near to the Railway Station, Bus Terminal and main Government Offices.

We organised a technical talk for our association on one saturday evening.The ambience is good, location is good the food was good at a decent rate. The staff was supportive, the audio system and the facilities for presentation etc., were excellent.You might be thinking, in spite of these good aspects, why I have given only 3 stars. The reason is detailed below.Our function was decided to start by 6pm. As I was the prime organising person, i reached the venue at 5pm itself, as I had to set the stage display etc. Unfortunately, when I arrived, some other function was going on in the hall. The hotel staff told me that that function would end by 5pm. But, it continued till 5.45pm and even by 6pm, the staffs were removing the decorations from the stage, setup for the other program and when our guests arrived on the hall, they were greeted by the hotel staff cleaning the hall. It was an unpleasant experience. Luckily we did not have time consuming decorative setup planned on the stage.I feel they should have given our guest more decent treatment.Apart from this experience, other facilities and treatment were satisfactory.

Disclaimer - this review is only for the restaurant. 6 of us had dinner on Jan 4th at the restaurant (not to be confused with the roof top). They have a wide spread buffet, though we chose Ala Carte, considering our appetite. All dishes (aloo paratha, cauliflower manchurian, fried rice, noodles, chicken makhanwala, paneer tikka, desserts) tasted great and quantity was sufficient. I need to highlight the fact that the fried rice was well made with less oil - rare to find these days! Murgh Makhanwala was unique, and Cauliflower manchurian was well prepared with less spice (as we requested for it). Creme caramel was really good. Lassi was a little too thick for our liking. And we felt that Aloo Paratha was relatively higher priced, though it tasted great - at that price point, I would have preferred a slice of butter on top. Overall very good experience with good customer focus, nice ambience, and they have valet parking too. Recommended!

I am jugunu Sasidharan from USA I plane to take my wife and son to Sp for our dinner in last Saturday. The restaurant call high spirits .it was a worst experience with us I was given my order quick but that take hours to deliver my food. After one hour one girl come and she throws one dish and no plate she was run away no smile no talk nothink I saw one guy he is the only one working hard alone he can reach all tables but he is trying his best I was upset but I understand why I wrote this I saw one lady and very young girl thay come and thay go strat bar and cash counter I saw all resturents staff was very busy with them I think thay r regular guest but the staff forget thay have outher guest to Sp staff was only constraints them thay have time for them finally after one HR my food came service was horrible and terrible I think that only care women and young girls very good attention thank you to make me freak exprines with us jugunu Sasidharan F&B manager USA

Located in Tribandrum city, the SP Grand Days offers a very nice stay. The staff were courteous and well behaved. Well maintained rooms and the service is also good. They do have a roof top restuarant and a bar facility. The swimming pool is also attractive. Buffet couters present us a wide spread. Since it is in the city it was easy to access the near by places.

Decent place. Coron has hit the tourism industry very badly. Hence, hotels are struggling but they are slowly opening up and giving it a fight. I recently stayed at this hotel during my last trip to Thiruvananthapuram. Its a decent place, spacious rooms and good connectivity.

The roof top was amazing, the service and waiting time also was favorable. Would visit in regular basis from now on. Liked the total ambiance as well. Especially the view of Trivandrum from the top.Also, the main thing was the food, awesome quality and quantity food comparing to other similar level restaurants.Really pleased to give 5 stars.

Good for marriage function

Sorry to say but this was one of the bad hotels, I have ever stayed. Poorly maintained property with bad service. It made me think that how many stars this hotel got. I would never again stay in this hotel when I am around.

Really liked the service and the cost. Id recommend everyone.
