I visited Tharavattil Plaza upon my friends reference.I visited here with my family for lunch at around 2pm today. They kept us waiting till 3pm. Two other families came after us. They served them their respective orders yet we were not considered. Had such a bad experience.. Never treat your customers like this. Please its a humble request

Been here many times, the food is actually tasty.I usually try fried rice and its actually tastes like fried rice.Cost is pretty much in the higher side but since taste is there its quite reasonable.Quantity as well as quality is reasonable for the money you pay.Parking space is available in front as well as a compound opposite to the restaurant.

Good taste of malabari food. Id say the food is a bit on the pricey side and not the best Ive had. But the service is great and there is a good ambiance to the place. The food has a homely feel to it and my parents are huge fans of this place. Music and better decoration would be plus to this place and bring down the prices a bit. A medium size glass of lemon soda was 40 + taxes. Do something about that.

Good restaurant but it gets very crowded at lunchtime. Tip: Opt for the air-conditioned dining area on the first floor. The ground floor area gets stuffy at lunchtime. Its not wheelchair accessible or senior friendly.

Very poor quality and the most of the dishes had no taste at all. The rice they given was made of biryani rice and not the usual one. Their biryani is just horrible. Most of the dishes are salty and feels like they just thrown in some chilly power to it. The fruits in the fruit salad was not fresh. Overall a pathetic experience.

If there was an option of not giving star, I would have opted that..bcoz it was the way the owner behaved..I gave a catering order for about 50 people and the owner said that it is a small quantity and he wont take order for less than 1000 or so..his attitude was so much that there was no other catering service in Kerala..he kept on praising him self that he got best catering award and so on..at last he told he will take our order n to remind him 2 days before the functio.when I called him he said he forgot about that and was reluctant to cater..we sais we had no last minute options then he told he will call back.. but there was no reply..I believe that every thing happens for good..we got a better food from another catering at lower price..to the owner..we the customers made you..so please be humble and have some affective attitude for them

Happened to walk down here on my stay at Mascot. Price was high. Biriyani was basically inedible. Avoid this place like a plague if you care about taste. Everything was dry and salty. And chili powder allover to make itspicy.

The food and the ambience of this restaurant deserves 4.5 stars but the after the food is ordered people have to wait for a long time in order to receive their food.

When we arrived they told us that there isnt any space. Then they told us to go upstairs to sit. After 10-15m they tell us that the place we are sitting is actually for customers who have reserved beforehand. Absolutely irresponsible behaviour on the managers part.

If you want to spend an afternoon of retirement or transfer function right in the middle of office hours without causing much damage go to your purse and your reputation with your bosses, it is a fine place to be in. Nice veg and non veg choices and you would be wise enough to choose minimum variety for a capacity crowd because choosing multiple dishes always confuse these people - experienced twice. Overall above average performance in all areas.

Ordered Tharavattil Special Biriyani combo. What I got was one bowl of biriyani rice with three pieces of fried chicken and egg curry with gravy. We enquired as to how they call this biriyani, the response we got is thats what the special biriyani is, everything comes in seperate portions and we need to mix together. They also informed that people come especially to have this biriyani . Tried telling them that rice and fried chicken and egg curry dont constitute biriyani, anywhere in the world. However they did offer to take back and give normal biriyani, which we declined as we had taken a few bites and didnt want to waste food, even though it was someone elses mistake.
