Tasty mutton dishes.. a paradise for mutton lovers.. Highly recommended..

Its a very small eatery with no show offs .And dont even think about ambience.And getting parking in this busy road will be tricky.Coming to food ,they offer only mutton dishes.I have tried mutton fry , mutton perattu ( roast) and rice Roti.Mutton fry was good but the mutton perattu had a overpowering taste of raw ginger.Bacically I felt both fry and perattu have the same masala former being dry and roast with a semi gravy .But quality of mutton was good ,meat was well cooked and soft .

If you are a mutton lover a must visit place, you will get a wide variety of dishes like mutton fry, mutton roast, mutton chapps, mutton liver, mutton brains etc, You will get Oratti (bread made with Rice) and porotta. To sign off do try their lemon tea. Rates are okiesh.

What they say is that they serve pure Mutton. Its 100 % true. More than that they serve it fresh and cooked perfectly. Its so soft that you dont have to exert any pressure on the meat chunks to savour it. But taste wise there is nothing extraordinary in it, the taste which lingers back is that of garlic - ginger paste, which is somehow predominant in almost all dishes. Ambience is not that cosy, but comfortable. Price is also reasonable, simply because they serve pure and fresh Mutton.

Let it be me or my friends; we all loved the food here. Buhari mutton sucks😇 ezhuthaani mutton in kollam is superb, here also its just superb.

Reached there after a very long wait! Was hyped because of all the reviews of rajila claiming to be the best in town! Im not a fan of mutton but then the mutton fry literally swept me off my feet! Mutton perattu had the masala taste overpowered, Im pretty sure that masala of the perattu had some mistake! I loved the porotta and orotti! The hotel was more than pretty neat compared to the area it is in!

Getting to have Kerala parota and mutton at 10am is a blessing.. A quick stop for all mutton lovers.

When it comes to mutton dishes then there are not many restaurants in Trivandrum that can hold a candle to Rajila Hotels famous Mutton dishes.Pure mutton and well cooked.People who loves spicy food will surely in cloud 9 after having their Mutton Perattu and Mutton fry.Meat is so fresh and tender.Mutton soup with mutton crumps at just ₹70 is really worth as it is has so much health benefits.Mutton curry, mutton chaps, mutton perattu, mutton fry, mutton potti curry are served with porotta, oratty, pathiri, chappathi, appam, etc.Mutton Brain curry will be available in the morning hours.Tea and coffee are available along with soft drinks like 7up and Pepsi.Mutton biriyani is not served right now. But is available for large orders.The restaurant is very clean and neat. It may seem small from outside but it has more than enough dining area even with an air conditioned dining hall.They offer Customer-friendly service and also has a Take Away counter.Rajila Hotel is a bit crowded in the evening peak hours.Never been to any place like this which serves pure mutton dishes.

Sometimes because of the taste and circumstances we wont be able to take photos but this place definitely needs a review for people to learn that there are places that can offer the best possible taste for a parotta mutton combination. But I am giving 4star only because they dont have much variety in food. But believe me the parotta mutton roast combination is best here. Cost is affordable too.

Mutton fry was better than perattu.Soup not upto satisfaction.

Rajila is one of the top places to have mutton dishes in Trivandrum. The mutton they serve is soo soft it just falls off the bone when we bite it. The tastes are familiar tho but the mutton fryt type thingy(id remember the name) is really good nd different others are not bad but nothing extraordinary. Parottas and Appam are also good. Price is mediocore . It cost us 1100 for 3 mutton dishes and few parottas and appam.

I used to visit their often.They are maintaining the same quality and are focussing on mutton dishes only. Parking may be a concern as it was situated at the starting of a busy street

Quality mutton was great, orotti was good, but parotta i didnt like. These days mostly everyplace they made porotta like a cooked dough of maida. Why dont the parotta layer up and they dont seem to beat the porotta well after taking from the tawa... Just what I felt. But quality of mutton was nice. Quantity can be little better, and there were hair strands in mutton one time.

If you have heard a lot of reviews about this place and is all hyped up to try the mutton here, just go with zero expectations and you will get an average taste out of the dishes. The mutton perattu is the only good dish in my opinion, good as in its decent while the rest of the dishes (curry,fry etc) are just average. Very average experience. It didnt hold up to my expectations.

Rajila hotel located in bypass road at valyathura is the place for mutton dishes in trivandrum. Mutton biriyani was very tasty the best part of it was mutton pieces which were super cooked and very soft and supple. The biriyani was not very spicy and masala is only minimal. Parking would be an issue while visiting the hotel.

Their food is awesome and their quality of mutton is one of the best in town but only one thing that pinch me is their service, they have a feeling that they are the best and hence they are very much arrogant. Recently when i went to buy mutton there was a long queue and after waiting for a long time when it was my turn i ordered and then i told gpay or any upi they told upi is just for restaurant customers and they only accept cash for meat, even though there are a lot of qr scanners in front of their shop. They told go and get money from atm even in this serious pandemic situation. I accept they are one of the best in taste and quality and I also felt that they only give atmost importance to their regular customers and important people. This is just my pov if u guys can improve it then its well and good. I know this review wont make much of difference to them they are just gonna ignore it.

The mutton fry was a favorite among us.The curry was tender and spicy,the peralan which seemed to be what everyone recommended was okey wokay. If you ask me if its worth all the hype,its a flat no.Having had food from kozhikode and malappuram and being from Ernakulam,it isnt the best food youve had,maybe according to trivandrum standards,yes.Its not my intention to diss on Trivandrum, of course not,but it sure aint famous for the food,and I am as sad as you are about that fact.Peace out✌

Its really a good place for mutton dishes in TVM.Ordered mutton pirattu, mutton soup, mutton curry accompanied by porotta and oroti.Sad that mutton nelli was not available that time.All the dishes where so good. Meat was tender and juicy.Currys full of masala and spices which were too good for me.Highly recommended for non veg foodies

We visited this place after seeing so many good reviews but what we experienced was very below average food, biriyani(if we can call it biriyani) was pathetic. They managed to burn the rice and masala had no flavour. Tried all their mutton dishes which they could offer and the only dish which tasted ok was their mutton curry. A BIG THUMBS DOWN TO THIS PLACE.
