One of the best place to work at

A small IT company which gives very good hikes but overall management is quite poor. They had recruited me for Java Development but put me in a pure L1 L2 support role just because there was Support experience on my Resume but Management took it for granted and never asked me and my other teammates if they were OK with this role which also consisted of 24 hour shifts. KT for the same was provided by Philippines company which had the contract previously but there was no responsible person monitoring it.I had to leave the company in 6 months as I wasnt comfortable with multiple shifts especially night shifts which I had made very evident by writing to management again and again. I was OK to do it from home but wasnt allowed. Despite showing good results when I used to work from home for other shift I wasnt given the flexibility to do so for night shift. So, I was left with no options but to leave the company inside probation period of 6 months.Also my immediate manager was worst I have worked with so far in my IT career of 5 years. She tried to micro manage things showing no confidence on employees though not from technical background and used to take credit of the work too. She used to tell bad things about other teammates and as a result was trying to raise conflicts among teammates which is very bad thing for a manager.So, I am very happy to leave this company and I am thankful for the pay hike it gave me to form a good base for future increments
