Food is good and the ambience is amazing. One can order by scanning the code however, some of the items might not be available in the menu.Collection of drinks is okay. They accept all sorts of payment. Service is really good.AC is centralised for which it can either be completely switched off or on.

It is small compared to few other socials but they also have rooftop sitting arrangement which is good too. Socials have always attracted me for their Cosmo Explosion! Loved the food and drinks.Staff is quick and helpful as other socials.One of the lively places at Viviana to hang out.

Thane Social is my absolute favourite place to go to while shopping in Viviana. It has amazing food, a great vibe and it is a place where you can go for brunch on a weekend. If you go with your girlfriends (as I did), you will feel like youre in front of camera in Sex and the City. The atmosphere is also nice as a work place. While youre working from home if you cannot leave early one afternoon, just sit here and work while having the amazing food!A special shout-out to the Long Island Iced Tea here. What a masterpiece! You feel just the right amount of tipsy without actually feeling drunk. The food is great too!The people here are also very welcoming and helpful. They have also introduced contactless ordering in these tough times. You can simply scan a QR code and place you order. The only contact youll have with the people working there is when theyll bring you your food. In a way, social distancing is well maintained.Give yourself a break, go to Thane Social. :)

Nice place,tried Thai thali,curry was great.liked the crispy french fries too..service needs a little improvement though,they got all the order together at the table, would prefer if they can serve the second dish after the first one is over..and had to wait a long time for the bill,inspite of the restaurant being nearly very less occupied.

Social has always been a favourite go to place for their ambience, variety of food since 2014 in Bangalore.Was very happy to have Thane social open. Loved the food as usual. They also have a unique interiors depicting a Tailor shop, Barber shop from the 1980s Era.We had Fish and Chips, ShimlaMirch Martini (the best), Shredded chicken Bao😋

Social! The name itself excites everyone. We were planning to visit this place the day it was newly opened in Thane and somehow managed to make time and explore Thane social. The hype about Social is huge and thats how we were expecting our experience here to be the best. But we were extremely disappointed by their food and their service. We ordered bacon and pepperoni pizza it almost took 25-30 mins to arrive. But it wasnt even worth the wait. The crust was so thin and a part of the pizza was badly burnt. The pizza was super salty. We felt like we are having a papad with salt and cheese. Next we ordered Shwarma yo mama this platter was one of the good ones we had in Thane social. The platter has Pita bread hummus chicken two more dips French fries and salad. We enjoyed this part. It was amazing. The taste the quantity the quality though it took time to arrive it was still worth waiting for. Next we ordered death wings and we were aware it would be spicy. But this death wings was tasteless but just spicy. Spicy is okay but it should at least be tasty too. We ordered mocktail for some sweetness. Fruit mocktail was the best thing we had here. I dont know if to blame this place or it was just a bad day for us. But the ambiance and vibe here is amazing. We will give 10/10 for the ambiance. I just wish the food was as good as the vibe of Thane Social. We will visit someday for sure. Thanks much 🤍

Hello there, lets talk about Thane Social.According to my experience, I find it just fine.Why - Well, the ambience is good. Theme is quite unique. So thumbs up on that. Well the seating arrangements were not up to the mark. Not cosy at all. Moving on the food and drinks - umm... disappointed actually. Weird cocktail taste, food was fine though. Irony here is, food is good than the cocktails. The worst part is yet to come...yes, u got it right - staff behaviour is not at all up to the mark. They dont even know their menu, behaviour is not that gentle. TBH - We as a group had enjoyed sitting in the food more than this place.Why 3 starts you may wonder - well the ambience and food saves the day for Thane Social.

Thane Social ..A pub in Viviana Mall .... felt its quite a hyped up place.. Costly definitely.... Mostly visited by the young crowd..All was Ok Ok.. Drinks..Very costly...Food..OK..But not out of the world.. Music..Nice.. Though a but loud ...But it was as expected in a Pub.. Thats Ok.. However, the biggest damp squib I felt was the cutlery used ... Aluminum thalis as were used by the jails fr their jail inmates!!!!..Not done at all...If the Pub wants to keep the theme as that of old Thane..As projected in the Pub with the Chawl System, the Old Irani restaurant food items etc..Do they mean to say that the Thaneites used to eat food in such aluminum thalis!???..In fact in olden days people used to eat in brass or copper vessels...Every household used brass and Cooper vessels abundantly in the olden days.. Aluminum came in use much much later.. This I feel should be looked into by the management.

I am a big fan of Social restaurant chain and I frequently vist the Vikhroli Social in particular. So I was stoked when I saw they opened a Social in Thane. But I was disappointed by my complete experience. I would also like to add I am posting my review on 1st Jan 2021 but I visited the restaurant earlier so they cant blame anything on holiday rush.1st I had called earlier and booked a table for me and my friends well in advance but we still had to wait for over 45 minutes outside to get a seat inside. On top of that we were forced to share a table of six with another group of people. This is poor management on their side and really unsafe in these dire COVID times. That was strike one from me.2nd Socials are place to sit around with your friends or buisness associates and have conversations over good food and drinks. Over here we were shoked to see that the music was so loud that we could literally hear it from the ground floor of the mall where the restaurant is on 3rd floor. Inside it was worse. The music was literally deafening to the point where even elementary stuff like ordering food had to be done by tying on mobile and showing it to the waiters. On top of that it was impossible to get hold of any waiters since we couldnt call out to them and they couldnt hear. This was strike 2 from my side.3rd was the food quality. We just hoped despite all the above extreme discomforts the food would be delicious. But here too we were disappointed. We ordered a sharing plate of chicken wings platter which had 12 wings in 4 different sauces. The chicken was really tough and it was obvious that they had just microwaved a cold wing hot and dipped in the sauce. Also with the exception of 1 sauce all others were either too sweet or too spicy to the point where its flavour was lost completely. I had also ordered a Virgin Mojito and it was disgusting. It was very watery with too much sour lemon juice and no mint leaves instead of being nice, sweet and refreshing. We were so horrified with the food quality that we cancelled all our remaining orders immediately. This was strike 3 from me.Just when we thought things could not get worse we were shocked to see our bill. We were charged ₹130 service charge on top of GST even though we never received any kind of service from any staff at the restaurant.Thus finally I would highly discourage anyone from visiting this restaurant ever. Instead just drive for 30 mins to Vikhroli Social. I am only giving 2 stars since the decor like all other Socials was fantastic unlike everything else.

Social one of the outlet we were waiting to open in Thane. Its a newly opened joint located at Viviana on 2nd floor. It has pretty good ambiance with unique decor. They have created setups of old and new Thane. Bar counter reminds of the food outlets of the old theatres. They have also shown small shops like those in chawls. The seating area with beautiful plants decor behind with hanging led lights. The serving plates are like those you see in jails and on glasses they have this pauva written like that you see in old style bars.Being Friday night, the place was jam packed with people of almost all age groups including family crowd. The Music was very loud making it difficult to communicate.They have followed Covid norms properly. Kept hand sanitizer at the entrance and also on every table. They offer contactless menu i.e. scan the QR code on your mobile and place order.We actually ordered lot of food and drinks:Sausage Fries (5/5)Tried these for first time and must say they were simply awesome. The spicy tangy taste and the crunchy texture was perfect.Fish and Chips (5/5)Basa fish has always been on my favourite list. The fish was well cooked with proper covering. Tasted really good and served with salted french fries. A perfect combination.Honey Chilli Fries (3/5)Didnt like the fries as they were too sweet, the crunchy and spicyness was missing and they were less tangy.Chakna Tiffin (5/5)I liked the idea of serving Chakna in a Tiffin box. They had options on what you want in the box. We selected peanuts and fryum.Chicken Chilli (4/5)The chicken was properly cooked and marinated. Also the taste was good. Loved it.Nachos (4/5)Nachos were perfectly decorated with cheese and red sauce,Tasted like chat.Nonveg Kebab Platter (4/5)It had 3 to 4 varieties of kebabs and Pita bread.Seek Kebabs were really good. A bit spicy but overall tasted really good. The BBQ Kebabs were okay types. I found them a bit dried and tasteless. Pita bread was soft and crunchy, it tasted really good.Cheese corn Patty (3/5)I have tried cheese corn Patty several times at different outlets but here I found it a lot dry and tasteless.Veg momos (3/5)The momos were dry, hence not recommended.Some of the drinks that we ordered were Chenin Blanc White Wine, Budweiser, Gin, Balentine and Vodka.Overall experience was good. And its really a good place to chillout with good music and lovely crowd.

Will try to be honest as possible1. Unbelievable waiting time, simply because inner service is slow which makes customer within restaurant wait for longer duration.2. Process of ordering via scan is just a jhumla, just use it to read the menu and then call the waiter for placing your order.3. Service is slow and totally unorganised if you are ordering beer or other drinks there no sequence as such for delivering even water is not given unless asked explicitly.4. Go here if you only want to dance and enjoy music cause dj is good.5. Music is too loud to talk anything with your friends or loved ones, hence do not go here if you want to have good conversation.6. Food is average for its cost and menu is just fancy names even for basic dishes.3 stars for good dj, ambience and polite staff

Great place to chill with your friends

In current pandemic situation , with food courts allowed with 50% occupancy and few restaurants opened for business at Viviana mall :1. the lady taking reservation is barely audible.,2. a request for a table for two took - 2 hours , reservation at 1 p.m and allowed to enter the restaurant at 2.45.p.m3. thali order had to be cancelled as it would take another 30 minutes.4. patrons allowed to sit / chill indefinitely in the current situation. Fine , but the lady should not be taking any further reservations except the four / five tables.Unnecessary noting down the name and phone numbers for reservation serve no purpose ,5. sizzlers - paneer capsicum was o.k , not much of paneer and quantity too less for the price.6. chicken tikka thali was 7/10.7. plates used for serving, ---- outdated - like the one used for serving prisoners in jail .

Very bad experience, pathetic customer service , staff behave very rude

Place is pretty decent to hangout with friends. I have been here before but this time I didnt expect compromise on hygiene from Thane social. You can see spots on the table in the picture. We wiped it with sanitizer and tissues kept on the table and the tissues turned black. Table was very sticky. You will see this in most of critical reviews here. Plus one manager without our consent took the cushions. When we asked he said he was taking it since some lady wasnt able to sit comfortably. That was very rude.Very bad experience overall!

The ambience is attractive and has a good vibe. The food is not on the upper side but it is not unbearable .Staff was good and polite. Long Island iced tea was fine.Place is worth visiting even on weekdays .

They labeled the beef wrongly as chicken....my mother who eats only chicken ended up taking bites of beef burger ... was understandably very very upset eating the beef

A Very Disappointing Experience.Table service was not acceptable according to Socials standard (mind you, i have been to all the other Social in Bombay and the one in Vashi). The server didnt offer water even after us being seated for 10 minutes; we had to ask him to get us water. Few minutes after ordering the food via the e-menu (a very good initiative) the server informed us that one of the dishes ordered was taken off the menu -- despite it being on the e-menu. The patty of our ordered burger was: 1. Not Seasoned and sour; 2. Cooking preference was not asked (rare, medium rare, medium, etc.); 3.It was uncooked, cold and chewy towards the centre; 4. Burger buns were not toasted properly and this made the whole burger soggy. I had to walk up to the server till the bar to ask for water during my meal as he server never came to refill my glass.One thing that stood out was the Tennessee wings in the wings platter. The wings were: 1. Beautifully Glazed; 2. Juicy; 3. The sauces given was great.Overall my expectations for Thane Social was optimistically high but unfortunately it doesnt compete well with the other Social that I have been to. Still slightly optimistic that they will improve in the coming future.2021 Edit :- The quality has degraded even more. The so called Death Wings ,the spiciest of all was nothing else than a big disappointment. No challenge, no spice nothing. Didnt even know if they had attempted to make it spicy at all. The food taste has also degraded from the previous visit. It is sad to see such a great franchise ruining its name with sub-par quality food. Regretting giving it a second chance, never again.

Worst restaurant in thane..Too much over hyped..Too much of waiting time..Menu is available only with scanned QR code.. elderly people can not see it.. Too much of complex system..Whatever we ordered, many food items were not available on menu..Tables and glasses were not cleaned properly..Food is served after 30 minutes after placing the order..Waiters were rude..For those who are willing to go there, PLEASE DONT GO.. Its a waste of money and time.. please find some other good restaurant and go there..If there was a system of giving negative stars , I would have given that also..

Over hyped as many other places in mumbai. The ambience is great but the food sucks. Even a roadside food joint can give you a better taste when compared with the dishes served here.

Service was excellent. Our waiter Amit was courteous and knowledgeable. Decor was good. Music was right. Lighting was perfect. Overall ambience was excellent.But sadly I cant say same thing about food. Today was our anniversary and we sat on Table no 22 today evening. We ordered chicken wings, sausage fries, chilli cheese toast, atmanirbhar Chinese box. Overall the food taste and food quality was bad. Presentation of food was awesome. Because of food, we did not feel value for money. Hope social lives up to our expectations and changes the taste of food.

If there was an option of rating Thane social 0 stars..I wud have preferred. Frankly we went there for a birthday celebration but we were disappointed. First of all the waiting time is like 30 minutes. And frankly I felt as if they actually count exact 30 minutes to call you in. While waiting we just waste out time chitchatting or clicking photos in the hope that we will hav good time inside.When after waiting for 35 minutes we got a place. They said they dont hav menu card due to covid and online Zomato menu card is not same so we hav to scan the QR CODE and order by calling the waiter..that was pathetic. They can just hav a menu card print and keep each on a table. Anyhow we are touching every other thing on the table them why not menu card as well..once we started ordering the fellow taking the order WARNED US..app jo bhi order karoge aane ke liye 25 minutes minimum lagela. Even .for the nachos he said 25 minutes.. so we said chalo bring the starters and a pancake..we will.decide the order..he again said 25 min lagega even for main course..we said we are okay..bhai tu leke to aa...and then here he comes after 2 minutes pancake nahi hai..I said aapke menu me to likha hai available till 7.30pm to why not at 3.30..he said nahi hai..it was like a trigger..we Just walked out without ordering the food.. frankly we went to rajadhani infront of that..and had our food and walked out may b in 45 minutes..People at the counter outside who keep u waiting hav a qr code for order but they dont even Instruct people to go through it while waiting so the process can be easier.. because they dont hav idea abt waiting inside..highly disappointed..went there because of a reference..but seriously highly disappointed with staff and services

We celebrated republic day with a lovely breakfast we were served by Amit who did a brilliant job in not letting things slide through ,though there was an issue with our order he went out of the way and ensured we didnt suffer at all. We booked our table through dineout and got a free appetizer and an additional 10% discount if we pay the bill through their app.Our order comprised of1.Baida Roti2.Sids breakfast platter3. Riyaz bhai breakfasf platterEverything was so delicious , I believe thane social has the best ambience we got the Tailor master booth which was perfect.Do try it out guys and do ask Amit to look after your table if you ever visit this place

Socials has always been my go through place in Mumbai and I couldnt have been more happier that its in Thane nearby to my house.Social thane has its own vibe and the ambience is created according to the locals which sets it apart from all the other socials.They have some new items on the menu which includes purani dilli chat walk,chicken tikka and cheddar pizza, Lucknowi galauti kebab, different types of thalis and much more.The place is always jam packed soo you need to wait for your turn when you reach here but the wait is all worth it.I visited here with my friends on a Sunday Evening and as always had the best of my times.The Liit and Tennessee chicken wings are my all time favourite.Do visit this especially people from Thane and nearby areas.

We were waiting to get a seat for almost Half an hour..the lady at the desk had no clue as to how much more time we have to wait..all she said was she has no updates..further, they wrote down the mobile number but clearly said we dont call once the seat is available..and asked us to wait outside..we waited ther for half an hours and returned without entering into it..overall pathetic experience..well dont want to visit it ever now..and will never recommend this to anyone..

As we got to know bout this new socials in Thane.We headed to Thane Socials last weekend on Saturay afternoon.The place and ambience was great, it was pretty unique as they have curated it into old Thane and new with particular referances and setups. Also they has taken good care of the COVID norms as well as they have contactless menu, you get a QR code to order from your mobile.What we ordered here was:1. Chicken Kheema Pav - The kheema was minced with perfectly calibrated amount of spices and it was very flavourful. One of the best kheema we have had so far. We did took extra pav as well. As it was absolutely heavenly with full of spices. Totally Recommended!!2. Grilled Chicken Peri Peri Sizzler - This dish was best as well, The chicken was tender and flavoursome the bbq sause served alongside tasted amazing along with the grilled chicken.3. Classic Chicken Burger -The Burger was classic and it was served with fries alongside.4. Tiramisu - This dessert was classic, It was creamy yet light and was moist with this subtle taste of the combination of coffee and chocolate and it was topped with a dusting of coco powder.Also they served us *Gajar ka Halwa* as a complimentary.Hands down the best dessert i would say, it was made in pure ghee and had this very rich taste to it also the sweetness was balanced and on point.The service was quick,  Mr. Ajay Kadam one of the staff member, was very kind and informative and he offered us a great service.Surely going back again to try out more amazing dishes from their menu.Happy Eating!! :)

If youve been to all the other socials, this one is a disappointment. The staff and management has weird vibe, not at all helpful and kind off rude. The place is usually full and there is a lot of waiting, so plan your visit accordingly. Menu is the same as that of other socials :)Do try the China Box, Chooza 69 and Death by chocolate ❤️Chicken platter and Death wings was okayish!

Thane getting its Social is special on its own! The interior is done very thoughtfully and provides different kinds of seating arrangements as per once comfort! You can check out the menu and even place your orders by scanning a bar code provided at the table. Even so, the service is very good. If you are going for the social experiance, you would be quite pleased but the food is fine. Can comment on chilli chicken, chicken tikka kebab, social special sphagetti AO! Did not quite like the kebab, other too were quite good.

Food quality is not at all great we ordered sizzlers and the chicken was not properly cooked, also the rates are very much high as compared to the food quality.

The service is terrible at this place. They send out incorrect orders and charge 120rs just for the service. When we got to the restaurant and were ready to order, we had to wait for almost half an hour before someone assisted us. The food may be great but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to a friend.

My favorite food at Socials is Goan prawns curry with rice... the taste is so authentic that each time I end up ordering Goan prawns curry for sure... Ofcourse the Spicy barbecue cottage cheese burger was delicious so is the spicy guava drink.... you can taste the guava... chilli & salt ... however khus chilli was not upto the mark... the chilli flavor was not there... but the vibe of socials was fun. A good place to chill out.
