Great place to eat. The food is really flavorful and the ambience is so nice and comforting. The service is also very good. This place was recommended to me and I would most definitely recommend it to someone else.

I think this place deserves Michelin Star.It’s the best Korean restaurant I have been to so far in U.S.Spring Rolls was good, standard type.Seafood pancakes was yummy, dip in the soy sauce to bring out the flavor more. Textures was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.Banchan were delicious.Bone broth and tendon soup, cooked for 48 hours, was cooked perfectly as the tendon was tender. It was light on flavor, which was good since you can add the right amount of salt to your liking.Kimchi fried rice had a good balance of spicy and savory. It went well with the Galbi we ordered.Galbi was tender and marinated flavorful, just the right amount of sweetness.Bo ssam was light on flavor by itself. Once combined with the kimchi, sauce, and wrapped in the lettuce, it was perfectly savory and packed with flavor.On top of all the delicious food, the owner and server were kind, attentive, and overall great. This is my favorite place in Tampa now.

Contrary to the name, it is not family-owned. I asked one of the employees, and he said they are not a family-owned business. But anywho, the food here is delicious. My partner and I ordered the spicy fried chicken (it came with rice) along with various side dishes such as kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumber, radish and more.It was $15.99 for each meal, and very filling and wholesome. Highly recommended for any lovers of Korean food. There is also a grocery store next door. It is a bit difficult to find as it is tucked away, but definitely a hidden treasure.

Such a great hidden GEM! My boyfriend is a vegan and the owner was very kind and patient to help assist him to find foods that he would be able to eat. There many not be many options for a vegan however, the owner really took the time to make sure he got his vegan dish. Even when the side dishes we placed onto the table she placed all the vegan dishes near him and anything else that wasnt vegan on my side. She made sure to inform him.The decor of the restaurant is more of a Korean traditional style while some other restaurants have become more modern. It is a beautiful and homey restaurant

Came in and it was slammed. Was greeted fast and sat. Kevin was our server and he mentioned he just graduated high school. He was amazing!! So nice and attentive. Food was amazing. Can’t wait to come back. Again another shout out to Kevin he was GREAT!

Food is bland, no taste. The dishes are not on the mark, not for a restaurant. More like someone trying to cook a home meal and fails. Some of the dishes we ordered were not even salted. Another dish had a completely raw egg dropped in the food and the pot was warm. No chance for the egg to cook at the warm temperature. The attached pic is supposed to be kkan pung gi but it’s more like stir fried veggies with sweet and sour sauce. I suggest they reduce the menu from the 4 pages to maybe two pages and concentrate on their best dishes they know how to make. Sadly, we will not be visiting again.

Went for lunch and it was really good! Its on the back end of the Korean store so its not immediately seen. We got sat immediately and the food came out fast! The lady who greeted and served us was also very friendly! Would recommend!

As soon as I walked into this place I immediately forgot I was in Tampa, and was transported directly to Waegwan, South Korea where I lived for 2 years. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect and food was the beat I’ve had outside of South Korea! I’ll definitely be back, so glad I live close by! Next time I’ll definitely be sitting down to eat inside.

So no Korean BBQ its a restaurant they dont have the grills. But its so cozy and quaint. They were really nice and attentive and the food came out in a timely manner.The food was also very good, and they give you lot for the price.

Their Korean wings are the best. Theyre MASSIVE and have never changed size. I have a hard time wanting to try anything else because theyre so good. Also the staff are extremely nice and the restaurant itself is really cozy and just a nice lil niche spot for lunch and dinner. 5/5

Like traveling to Korea. The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing. We had a bunch of different dishes and each one was amazing. The bachan they serve is the best. I still think about the Korean chicken and kimchi. Really nothing else like it.

Small, unassuming restaurant attached to a Korean market. The food is fresh and made with care. We love the Banchan and you can often purchase small batches of it from the store next door! Theres typically only 1 waitress on staff at a time so if it gets busy, be patient. Theres also a call button on the tables so you dont need to feel neglected! There are not raw bbq options, everything will come to your table fully cooked. The food is always delicious.

Absolutely LOVE this place!! Its a little hidden away and in an unassuming plaza, but arent those places always the best?? The atmosphere is super cute and homey and the staff are very welcoming and kind. And the food is AMAZING. Ordered the Teokbokki, Haemul (seafood) pancake, and kimchi fried rice and all of the dishes were delicious. The side dishes (kimchi, mashed potatoes, bean sprouts and spicy tofu) were wonderful as well. Everything truly tasted like homemade comfort food. If youre ever in the area, 10/10 would recommend stopping by and giving this place a try; it will be worth it!

This is THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT EVER! Ive lived in New York and have had my fair share of good Korean food in KTown, but honestly nothing compares to the quality of food at this restaurant. The service is amazing! There is only one lovely waitress serving the entire place, so take that into consideration and be patient. She is wonderful though and does such a good job doing everything. I feel like my visit to this place has turned from a monthly to a weekly visit and I cannot get enough! It is definitely a hidden gem in Tampa. The atmosphere inside is so nice too! Honestly, Id give this place 10 stars. Drop what youre doing and GO NOW! Hurry! GO!

I see why this place has gotten such great reviews. There arent many Korean restaurants (Compared to Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese) in the area but this one was way better than the last one I tried out. We had Hite Pale Lager, Haemul Pajeon, Korean Fried Chicken KFC, and Gal Bi. Everything was great and finally had some good KFC. Ive been wanting some crispy KFC like Bon Chon, Mad For Chicken and other commercial spots I know of back in New York and this one was pretty close and if anything, more authentic. Theyre not super crispy, crunchy like those spots but I kept my expectations low and came out satisfied. Service was pleasant and quick. Prices were just about right.

My Wife and I wanted something new and local and boy were we surprised about this little gem! Long story short the food was sooo good we went back the next day and got more food.

OMG. This place was phenomenal. Definitely where you can get your Korean seoul food fix. I was so glad that I made the trip out because it is now my go to for Korean food.I didnt have too much trouble locating the restaurant and I dont know if its because I read the other reviews or if I just expected it to be right where it was in a strip mall that consists of Korean vendors - including the Korean market right next door.We were greeted upon arrival and seated immediately on the Friday night at 6:30pm and thankfully, it wasnt busy so I knew we wouldnt have any trouble.Rice Cake Appetizer: This was just delicious. I didnt want such a large portion for an appetizer but I was glad that I got it because I got to take it home to eat!Beef Stew: It was good but it also tasted burnt. I was able to taste the metal from the pot on this one so it wasnt a fave but it wasnt bad either.Galbi: This was my absolutely favorite part! The meats were huge as compared to other restaurants who give you small thin pieces of Galbi. This place did not hold back and I tell you, it was absolutely delicious.Side Dishes: I liked them all, especially the pickled cucumber with spice.Overall, I love this place and definitely plan to return!!!

Wow. Just WOW. My first foray into Korean cuisine. Our group was four couples and a baby, on a saturday night. Our hostess/waitress was amazingly efficient and very friendly. Apps included fried dumplings with a dipping sauce, a variety of small bowls with various crispy bits of veggies, sprouts, etc., and some fried tofu. All fresh, all delicious. My entree was short ribs, my wife had the glass noodles with veggies and beef, and of course everybody shared. I would recommend both, and the attention to detail in ALL our entrees was exceptional. Rounded out with some pomegranate wine, just a wonderful and memorable experience. Portions large enough, we took some home and had a great lunch the next day. We will most certainly return.

Absolutely amazing service for my trip to Florida. We landed in Tampa and came here after the flight. The woman who helped us with the menu and took our order was unbelievably sweet and patient. Very personable which is what I look for initially when I get to a restaurant. I like to have fun and Jin made my experience just amazing. The food is delicious, I’m literally writing this review while I eat and I can’t get over how good it is. I got the rib meal (I can’t remember what it’s called. I just know it was 23.99 and absolutely worth it.) I paired it with the Korean Lager they have. I highly recommend this establishment you won’t be disappointed.

Making a request after this review on 7/12/19...Moved to Spring Hill and takes me over an hour to be able to eat at your restaurant.There is not one good Korean restaurant in town. Would love to see One Family expand to Spring Hill............ This restaurant is really family friendly. Although the seating may seem a bit tight but the food is super delicious. The staff is great. Picture is of dolsot(hot) bibimbap. The sauce that goes along with it is spicy good. The stone plate stays hot from start to finish. The bone broth is delicious and sides authentic. I believe they have a karaoke room upstairs as well.

In northern Virginia, Korean food was established as my absolute favorite food after hitting up a few restaurants with some of my Korean friends. Unfortunately, there are no Korean restaurants (that are authentic) in St. Petersburg. I had the luck of coming to this place in Tampa because I was in Tampa for a business meeting. I do not regret coming here AT ALL.Their food was delicious. It was a bit pricey, but I dont care! Whatever you order, they bring out a feast for you! I think about their food all the time now! Me and my boss ordered dolsot bibimbap and bulgogi beef, and shared both of them. My boss is Syrian, and said its the closest to reminding him of his countrys food (because its homey, but fresh and delicious). We ate our food super fast because it was so FANTASTIC. I also really enjoy the environment inside, its relaxed and dimly-lit, which definitely sets a romantic vibe. Only possible negative? Their kimchi wasnt my favorite, but everyone makes their kimchi different- so I think that one comes down to personal preference.Check out the pictures and tell me that doesnt look absolutely mouthwatering! I hope I can go back soon!! :(
