I ordered Beef Pad Thai and other stuff. The Beef Pad Thai had NOT one veggie in it and maybe 5 pieces of beef the noodles were different colors from white to different shades of Orange. I tried calling back place just keep picking up and hanging up. Wouldnt suggest this for ANYONE .

Are you able to give negative stars?! What awful service!We ordered take-out, got home and realized it wasnt fully cooked!! HOW DO YOU LET UNCOOKED FOOD LEAVE YOUR RESTAURANT?! When my husband went back to ask for a refund, they told him that they couldnt do anything. Not only did they not give us a refund, they didnt even give us cooked food! Will never go here again, and will strongly urge others to avoid it!

Decent food but speak clearly when placing an order,ordered a deluxe dinner for 4 and recieved the regular dinner for 4 at the door,didnt call or anything because everyone was hungry, also the red sauce was watered down to water consistency didnt even stay on any of the chicken balls,was just a red watery mess on the plate

Food was absolutely awful. Golden Dragon is way way better. Lucky gardens used to be good food but now it is like nothing on earth. Horrendous!

I ordered a COMBO #2 and they served fried food that should be crispy on a bed of hot steamy rice! It made my crispy food soggy! I asked for my money back after explaining that I was not happy with this as it ruined my experience. They offered me a fresh meal and I agreed. Upon checking they new meal I noticed it was the returned food refried.. they also reserved it on the same rice.They also have no conditioning and a very empty basement dinning room.Id avoid this place.

Great food with lots of flavor (maybe a bit too much dough on chicken balls but not overly excessive) only issue was we placed delivery order at 4:50 and it took them until 6 to deliver (1.5 km away) when I called just before driver arrived lady would only say on the way, when pressed for how long same answer. But all in all we will order from here again but just expect the wait time.

Another discernable restaurant. Again, the Lucky Garden Restaurant has been in town a long time. I have been there many times over the years...each time has been enjoyable, and the food, good.....

Ordered a dinner for 5 to pick up. Food was ready on time, staff was friendly, premises were very clean. Everyone loved the meal, would surely order from them again. Fresh food and nicely cooked. Five stars for sure

Ordered $160 worth of food via delivery on mothers day 2018, food arrived leaking out of all bags. Dishes were topsy turvy as we unloaded, complete mess. Looked like delivery guy might have been in accident or something judging by the mess in each bag. We were hungry and decided to just make the best of it, then we came across weird green hued beef with broccoli that just threw us way off, game over. The only thing that was good was the egg rolls. Will never patronize this place again. Mothers day 2019, I drove all the way to London to get Chinese food to make sure we wouldnt be disappointed and blow $$ for nothing, it worked out great.

This restaurant was great a couple years. However, my experience today was very disappointing. The pad thai was absolutely terrible and the general Tao chicken was like sweet and sour. I highly recommend you dont waste your money here, like I did.

Usually we get great food unfortunately tonight our meal was soaked with soup that was dumped. Soggy egg rolls just a mess, we called complained and had to return our order. This after waiting an hour and a half initially. We were refused our money back, but were finally given a replacement meal. With shrimp so hard the breading snapped into pieces. Out original soggy eggrolls fired again. Very disappointing unfortunately we will not be back!

One star on rating cause you have to but honestly not even one 1/2 star. Service was nonexistent and food was subpar. Never again.

Lucky Gardens is my favourite Chinese food restaurant, the staff is always friendly and you get A LOT of food for a very reasonable price. Lots of options to choose from, and everything is sooo good. Highly recommend the Cantonese noodles, and General Tao chicken!

We places an order not too long after 4 for a dinner for 3. We were told that it would be about 50 minutes and that was fine. An hour and 20 minutes had passed and we were still waiting for our meal. We called to see where it was and they told us it would be here any minute. Another 20 minutes had passed and I was starting to get ticked off so I called back and the girl who answered rudely hung up on me. I called right back and asked to speak to a manager which they denied me. They continued to tell me that it would be there any minute, so I told them if its not here within the next couple of minutes that Im not paying for it. We waited 10 more minutes and finally gave up and went to Wendys for dinner. By the time we were half way through our meal they finally came with the food and we told them to take it back. It was over 2 hours from the time we ordered. Not impressed. I will not be coming back here ever... If I ever want Chinese food again Ill just go to the one in the mall its reliable and gives you a decent price on their food. If I wanted to wait 2 hours for a meal I would have just made something at home instead. Happy Valentines day crappy gardens.

Restaurant was a little sketchy walking in. I dont judge things by the cover. Got the food walked home. Fair price for the food. I found it to be very good. I feel that most of the people reviewing on here have expectations that are held to the highest of standards. if you are only paying so much its what you should expect. you get what you pay for.,

Spring Rolls are awful. Small portions compared to other Chinese take out. Food is not that great. Wont go back. Love the take out on Elm way better

They messed the order up for the se broccolicond time. I ordered egg rolls paid for them didnt receive any egg rolls. And I ordered beef vegetable theres no beef It was just filled with onions and a couple pieces broccoli. and to top it all off when I called back and told him they messed the order up the lady couldnt even speak English she could just say hello and repeated it hello hello hello everytime I explained to her the only reply was hello. Never again will I order from lucky gardens on Princess. Completely an ignorant and unhealthy place to eat.

Ordered from them a couple times, consistently orders were wrong and took an hour or two to get a correction out with no communication or courtesy.Poor service and communication skills, definitely do not reccomend. Should be closed down for failure to meet basic service.

First and last time ordering food from this place. The food was the worst chinese I have ever ordered in my life. It was so bad that we took it back to the restaurant to get our money back. They refused to refund the purchase. Any decent restaurant would have tried to make it better but what do they do they called the police.

So.so.Its just a pick-up place for food. FOOD WAS OK.

The food was terrible, no flavour. The noodles were clumped all together, and rubbery, couldnt eat it. $100 worth of food, the lemon chicken was the only dish, we could eat. Will never eat here again.

Last time for us. We ordered the dinner for 5. Definitely enough food, but the quality has gone way down. The chicken balls and battered shrimp were awful. Overcooked, greasy and the shrimp wasnt even present in some of the battered shrimp due to the over cooking. Further the thick vein was prominent in the other shrimp. Its too bad because we used to like this place as its been here for a long time. Time to move on..... bye bye lucky.

Food is great and at a very comparable in price to other places in St. Thomas. Inside of the restaurant is very rundown looking and the entrance smells of raw sewage. Half of the interior is for customers sitting in to eat and the other half houses an elderly woman on a couch watching tv.The service was quick and the food was hot. What more could I ask for.

They screwed up my delivery ... Was questioning as if Ive never ordered there multiple x.... And then had the nerve to not even show up to replace it when they said they would be back here in 20 mins .... Its been over 3 hours..... You def lost a family customer. Wasting 70$+ on garbage service !!

Asked for Pad Thai ... lomien and a dinner for 2...the person taking my order ...took forever to understand. .I asked for peanut sauce with pad Thai ..her response. .no no peanut..I was very patient when i realized that we were experiencing a language barrier but what?no peanut in pad thai ...yes yes there is...i got dinner for 2 something that did not resemble pad thai and something called Cantonese chicken which was just a red mess ....the worse Chinese food Ive ever had ...sooo much MSG or salt on everything - way too salty..all 3 of us concured...the only thing that was edible was the chicken balls and chicken fried rice thats it...I lived here years ago and it was decent...not sure what happened ..nope ..never again...Im returning to let staff know worse 55.00+ ever spent

Horrible delivery and customer service. Last time we ordered delivery, there were problems with the delivery guy. They did not call to tell us. We waited an hour before we called and then they asked us to come get it.Tonight we spent 100 bucks, waited an hour for delivery and we were missing our chop suey. We politely called and let them know. They apologized and said it would be out in 20 mins made fresh. Another hour later we call back and the lady who answers tries to convince us that we maybe ordered from a different restaurant, even though we have a receipt and hit redial. We tell her we had delivery issues last time (which was months ago) and she asks why we keep ordering from them then. Guess they dont want large orders and repeat business. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED & will be going elsewhere from now on!

Horrible experience my egg Foo Young was pure salt I tried to take it back and the lady pretended she didnt understand me. I also ordered fried noodles with veggies and they gave me noodles with veggies that were soggy and the general tao chicken wasnt spicy and didnt taste good.

So food is actually good....moved here recently and decided to try...but the girl who takes orders is RUDE as anything...simply called after waiting an hour to find out and got hung up on twice after her being snarky...get rid of this girl and your restaurant might be actually ok...poor delivery guy even knew what i was talking about. ...

Ordered a deluxe dinner for 2 and pad tai beef. Asked for pad tai to be mild. Took forever for food to get delivered and it wasnt very warm. The pad tai was so insanely spicey hot we could not eat it. By then they were closed. So called the next day and was very rudely told they wouldnt do anything about it even though we kept the dish to return to them. The man on the phone said cant replace it or re fund cause we are it then when I repeated we still had the dish he refused to refund any money or replace the dis. Very piss poor customer service.

Not sure if it was the old lady sleeping on the couch in front of the TV, or the horribly dirty carpet, the smell or the person with a bit of attitude who took my money but I wont be back. How is this place even operating as a restaurant? Arent there standards to adhere to? The food was average but the place it comes out of should be condemned. We wont be back. Yucky Garden!

I a senior citizen new to St Thomas and i had a craving for Chinese food;a friendly lady at the laundromat suggested Lucky Gardens.i walked into the restaurant;stood at the entrance and looked at the menu. A young man at the back of the restaurant was taking orders on the telephone;after he was finished with the order i said Hello he looked at me strangely while he walked away to perhaps the kitchen -he said she will look after you. A female who couldnt understand my English was very rude to me. i said i was a vegetarian but i could eat fish perhaps i could have curried shrimp but i didnt want white rice;did they have brown rice. the lady who had told me about the restaurant said she often gets brown rice;she had ordered a dinner for four this evening from the laundromat.i also wanted a spring roll rather than ab egg roll. Rather than the female asking the young man to come and help the female made faces and said they didnt have. Another customer came into the restaurant and she looked after him.He was ordering some combo. i was truly disappointed with my experience as i was going to treat myself-money no object to a much desired Chinese meal. i would not recommend this restaurant and i will tell all of my friends, relatives and anyone who wants to hear not to give the restaurant any business

The service was terrible. I took my daughter with me we ordered soup waited fifteen minutes and had planned on ordering more and I said that to the lady serving us. Not once did anyone come ask how our soup was nor did they ask if we would like anything else. They were all too busy sitting at a table eating, in the back of sitting there watching tv. Very dissapointing. So when the server came back with our bill I told her that we were not done and we wanted to order more but we no longer wanted to. Paid the bill and left.

I love their bbq pork only place in town ive found that serves it .. If ya like it buy on monday they make fresh on sunday .. Enjoy!

Not very happy with it use to substitute the combos but now you cant and the price is stupid we dont like have th stuff in the combos but cant substitute anymore and not wanting to pay extra and everytime we get it delievered takes almost 2 hours and we couldve went somewhere else

I have to wait a long ass time for my meal about 45mins to an hour DX I am not going to order from these people again if I want Chinaese food Ill get it from where else. Even though she said sorry to me Yeah Sorry isnt going to cut it. Hell The China House has it to my place with in 35mins.

Meal.was cold, called back because the driver had no change and I told them I had cash. Beware they use a delivery company and the drivers rip u off and lie! Also the combinations are very small 3 chicken balls per combo!
