First, I wish I had taken better pictures but when I smelled the food, I just couldn’t focus! Let’s start with the Coconut Rice, which is made perfectly with the right amount of stickiness and a hint of fresh coconut. The moment we opened the box, the fresh sweet smell of coconut burst into the air and filled the house. It was fluffy with the right amount of sweetness…just a savoury wonderland on its own. Second, let’s talk about the Pad Thai…boy am I glad that this is the second time I’ve ever had Pad Thai in my life and it was a heavenly experience! The peanuts are so fresh, they burst out too when you open the box! The aromas, the flavour, the onions, the noodles, down to the smallest detail was truly wonderful. I am not exaggerating! Last but absolutely not least and incredibly highly recommended and an absolute must try is the Kang Supparod Pineapple Curry…Oy Vey! Now I know for a fact that I have to travel to Thailand to try their food in person because this curry alone had a world of flavours that is far to amazing to be able to put in words. I could probably just eat that for the next 20 years and be the happiest person on earth. Great job! The hype is real, this is THE spot for Thai food in Southern Ontario. Highly recommended and I will 100% return to try every single thing on their menu. Great job!

Fantastic Thai food in downtown St. Thomas believe it or not! The best Thai food anywhere around here and London! There vegetables are always fresh, we love their curries. Coconut rice is super tasty! Big portions and great prices! Oh, and their Tom Yum soup is very unique and packed with different flavours!

They made a fundraiser for our local outreach and I had the opportunity to taste one of their take out dishes, Holy Basil Pork with a side of rice and a bit of veggies. It was absolutely delicious! When my husband went to pick up our order he was very impressed with the friendly owner who is also a collector. We cant wait for things to open up so we can dine in!! Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying this is hands down the best Thai food I have had since I lived in Markham or Vancouver.My husband and I had tried this restaurant once years ago when we first moved to the area and had been wildly underwhelmed wth the rather... Westernized food. However we noticed tonight that their menu seemed to have changed since the last time we tried it, and we decided to try it again.We were certainly not disappointed! The food was delicious (and beautiful) as well as being far more authentic than anything else I have been able to get in the area.My husband I and had the red and yellow curries respectively, and both were delicious (though I would say there was far less heat than I am used to. I may ask if I can get things spicier next time)The service was very helpful and polite, and the covid pickup was streamlined and easy!I would definitely say if you are in the London area and craving some good Thai food, this is the place for you!

Visited on a recommendation from a friend from London whos spent time in Thailand, and who goes to St Thomas for take away. Ordered pad Thai, yellow curry, satay chicken, spring rolls, and beef with broccoli and oyster sauce, and it was beyond expectations. We will be back. THANK YOU!!

This was our first and last experience at Le Cafe Siam. The food is fresh, delicious and authentic thai food, but the service is SO terrible which is a deal breaker for us.To keep it simple for anyone else, do not try to customize your dish in any way, shape or form. What you see on their menu is what you get and if you have any food allergies or an intolerance to spicy food, we highly recommend going elsewhere because they do not care.We called two days ahead and we had to call 17 different times before someone answered.

Amazing Food!This is the most authentic Thai food you can get in SW Ontario. The owner/servers are so friendly and accommodating when it comes to choices. Vegan, Vegetarian, extra spicy, NO PROBLEM. I just love Le Cafe Siam.If you want to have Friday or Saturday take-out dinner make sure you call early. Quite often it gets so busy that they just cant fit in any more take-out orders. Which is a bummer, but just goes to show you how AWESOME the food is.

Le Cafe Siam is my most favourite restaurant of all time. Their cashew chicken and coconut rice are to die for. But I have also tried some of their other dishes and not one fails to satisfy. And, comparatively, the price range is very reasonable for such quality food. Just make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. Due to the fact that they are a favourite restaurant for alot of people, the facility is often filled to capacity.

This was our first visit since moving to St. Thomas. The staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive and the food was DELICIOUS! The reviews are great and we were NOT disappointed! Cant wait to go back. PS...the restaurant is very small and they JUST had enough room for us but we were recommended to make a reservation if we want to come Friday or Saturday since they are very busy. Cant wait to go back!

Their food is absolutely delicious! They have gluten free, and also vegetarian options.I spent 7 months in Thailand, and the food brings me back to my favourite restaurants there. Their Masaman curry is the best Ive ever had, and their sweet and sour Tofu is absolutely scrumptious.Would highly recommend.

Definitely my favourite eatery in St Thomas, if not all of North America. I havent had Thai food better than theirs anywhere Ive gone and I try Thai in pretty much every city I go to. Cannot give it a high enough rating.

The food is fantastic, and the service is even better. It can get real busy fast so I would definitely recommend that you make reservations, especially if you have a larger group.The staff are genuinely interested in your enjoyment. Definitely a good place to take your date to... You will not be dissapointed with that decision.

Best food in St Thomas. Best Thai food Ive had anywhere and I have tried Thai in many different cities. Definitely authentic and family owned. Cozy and romantic but also great if dining alone. The food is amazing and the staff is as well. Highly, highly recommend to everyone in town, even if only for the day. Reservations recommended.

Folks, the food is positively superior, and the place is a real asset to St. Thomas.I said the food ....The proprietor, a fine cook, actually runs a place which encourages some people not to eat there.Recently, the chap:Greeted us, repeat customers, perfunctorily.Grumpily asked if we were ready to orderSaid there was only one beer available, without naming it.Gave us the said beer without beer glassesDid not ask is everything OK as per custom during the meal.Tossed us the bill and two candies.Et cetera.

Food is amazing, but their service has taken a huge dive after their main front end server left. I dont know who the guy is who has had to take up the role now, but he wasnt meant to work with customers. Hes like a less talkative Soup Nazi.

In my opinion, the best Thai food in Canada. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants. My partner and I have been to Thailand, learned to cook the food and I can safely say that this is the definition of real Thai food.If you havent tried it, get the massaman curry. You wont regret it.The service is prompt and when it isnt busy, they are usually happy to tell the stories of the dishes. When its busy, they arent as warm, but Ive never been treated with anything less than respect.To be honest, they could do everything but spit on me and I would still eat here, the food is THAT good.

Loved it!! Its small and cozy with beautiful decor. Our soup was delicious and he brought us complementary appetizers. The dessert is to live for too. Everything is amazing there!!!

Awesome. Simply awesome. The food was sooooo flavourful and the atmosphere was quite nice yet casual at the same time. Owner/Chef will bring your meals out to your table if hes able to, and I find that to be a big part of good eating. He explained the dishes we ordered, the tea we had, and was generally a super nice guy! Highly recommended!!

Great Place! very small so call ahead to get a seat. Food was amazing and service to match. I dont hesitate to recommend trying it out. I ate in, so food was fresh hot and delicious! The waiter was very knowledgeable and help with selection that complimented each other .

First time but not the last! Four of us ordered different dishes so we could try some of each. I had Ben Thai and it was excellent. We also had a green curry with beef and zucchini, a chicken with almonds (#12) and another dish with chicken. My husband loves curry and thought this was very good. Sorry cant remember the names but the taste was perfect! Cant wait to go again!

Cafe Siam does not water down their food to local taste buds. Yes, they have adjusted some, but not enough to remove from the awesome Thai cuisine. James is very chatty, and we often learn something new about Thailand each time we walk in. Its a great family run business, and you can definitely have a taste of who they are through their great food!

Excellent food. The female server, if you should call her that, was not good. She seemed better suited to looking busy than actually being busy. Thankfully there was guy in the back who cane out with peoples orders etc. Make a reservation or get take out, otherwise you may not get a table. The place is very small. Well worth the visit. If you dont know what to order, ask.

We were just here again last night. Cafe Siam never fails to be amazing. It is by far our favourite spot in town to eat. You could pick anything off of the menu and not go wrong.

Food is amazing, service is slow.Best Thai food in South Western Ontario. They say it takes a while to prepare each order, which is fine, I can wait for good food, but waiting for the bill, with dirty, empty plates on the table for over 30 minutes is annoying. The server is a great guy, they just need two of him on a Saturday night.All that said, its honestly worth the time spent. Ive never eaten anything from there that wasnt awesome.

We have eaten here often over many years. Just returned from a two week trip to Thailand where we toured a large portion of the country and ate in many restaurants, both ritzy and ordinary. Cafe Siam is indeed authentic Thai cuisine and every bit as good (maybe better) as anything we enjoyed in Thailand.

Had a phenomenal first experience. Cashew Chicken with Coconut Rice was just as amazing as described in other reviews! Beyond the food I was lucky enough to connect with Yoh the manager who has a great sense of humour and incredibly warm personality. Do yourself a favour and add Le Cafe Siam to your regular rotation.

Great authentic Thai food and great service in St Thomas. Food is easily as good as Pai or Khao San Road in Toronto. Good portions, very well spiced. Everything tasted fresh and appealing. I would recommend to anyone in the London/St Thomas area.

The food is fantastic but you need a reservation to dine in as the place is very small. Massaman curry and the satay skewers in particular are exceptional. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a high quality restaurant in our small city.

A hidden gem of a restaurant.There are a lot of great things I could say about this place (the authentic food, the great taste, the friendly staff), but one thing stand out most - they care a lot about what they are doing. In every aspect, its easy to see that they care about their food and their guests.Its only fair to point out the negatives too, so ill mention the same thing I see in most other reviews: sometimes the clean-up service or the bill delivery isnt the fastest. That said, the food arrives in good time, bearing in mind that they are making it, and not microwaving it.Overall, fantastic, and the best place to eat in St Thomas.

Have tried several dishes here and they never disappoint! The restaurant is quaint and romantic. The appetizer tray is awesome, the service is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We are regulars because of all of these things.

This place is just breathtakingly awesome! We eat here on average 2 times a month. Every time we have out of town guests we take them here first! When we’ve had swanky friends come down from Toronto saying they’ve tasted the best Thai food in Toronto, they all change their minds!I’m a spice wimp and can eat here. They have a spice scale of 1-10 but the glorious thing is that when it’s spicy it only heightens the flavour instead of drowning it out.If you have one place to eat in St. Thomas, choose this place first!

Must have changed ownership or cooks? Have always enjoyed their food last 2 takeout were terrible. Had the yellow curry with chicken and 1 with shrimpMeal consisted of 95%potatoes that were so big had to be cut into mouthsize bites, 2 small shredded size carrots and the MOST WATERY gravy ever. Chicken was very sparse but there was nice shrimp in the one order. Extremely disappointed in the food and have always bragged at how wonderful the food is for people to try.

Would love to try this place as I hear people talk about it but I always look at the menu online first. However there is no menu and no working website for the restaurant. Its 2018 and restaurants without an online presence need to fix this asap.

Best pad thai around

We ordered take out and their prices posted online were incorrect. Wouldnt have been a big deal if the food was great like everyone said. The spring rolls were $8 for 6 little shrimp that were wrapped in wanton paper. And the food was very bland. Would not recommend.

Le Cafe Siam serves delicious & authentic Thai food. Even the rice is incredibly tasty! The owners are actually real Thai people, and they are very friendly and accommodating. If you like Thai food, youll love Le Cafe Siam!

They say open until 9 but they cant even answer their phone after 8pm? Called multiple times from 815-845 with literally no answer. Apparently when there is 0 competition you can get by with decent food and awful service.

Absolutely delicious! Super surprised to find this gem in a small unexpected town of St Thomas. Amazing flavour, great atmosphere super friendly and courteous service. Only down side is that its a rather small location, make reservations if possible.

Just had a great dinner at a new to me restaurant in St Thomas. Le Cafe Siam 392 Talbot St.. If you are looking for fast food or an eat and run restaurant dont go here. But.... if you are looking for good food, quiet atmosphere reasonably priced and friendly staff this is the place to go.

I opened the door and felt like I walked into a restaurant in Thailand. It is a beautiful little gem. The food is delicious, large portions and the staff are fantastic. This family run restaurant is a wonderful, relaxing get away from the hussle and bussle of the city. You have to make a reservation because of the intimate dinning room. I had the Tropical Rice with shrimp it was heavily. The sticky rice dessert was light, fluffy and sweet.
