The BBQ meats were generally good but, the kimchi pancake was a letdown. There was too much flour in the batter and not enough kimchi. They also forgot about the tea we ordered but, we were served the tea after we reminded them. Waiting time was shorter than expected considering it was a Friday evening.

Pretty nice place for Korean BBQ. But pretty crowded though. Be prepared to queue for quite awhile during peak dining timing.They served delicious meat. We ordered beef , pork skirt , pancake and some other dishes. Spreading the egg around the sides of the grill was something new to me. But tasted well though.I recommend to eat the meat straight off the grill while its still hot to enjoy the tender and prime cut in all its glory. Their thick and chewy pancake had a crispy exterior, with a fluffy mochi-like interior. Shared the Ultimate Mix Set between the 3 of us. Was so full after dinner we nearly exploded. The $98 set comprises of: Galmaegisal, samgyeobsal, woosamgyeob, galbi, sundubu jjigae, japchae and bibimbap, all served in sizeable portions. Added cheese for dipping, goes so well with the grilled meats. Recommend this place to satisfy your KBBQ cravings, and do reserve in advance.

One of my favourite Korean place in Singapore. I ordered many items there and everything was tasty and delicious, including the BBQ, kimchi jiggae, japchae, the steamed egg and also the makgoelli. The price is affordable for the good and tasty food. The cheese is so worth it!

Great dining experience at Seorae Korean Charcoal BBQ at Plaza Sing. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Shout out to the handsome manager and lady who gave us advice on how to BBQ properly after seeing me and my friend struggle with some dishes. Had the mixed meats set for 2-3 pax. The meats were very delicious and succulent, however, I feel that for the price, the portions are on the smaller end. Service was average and could be improved

The food was tasty, the set for 2 to 3 pax was quite filling.Only limitation is a 90 min dining time, and they will start chasing u before the time is even up. For a buffet thats reasonable, but this is ala carte.

I had high expectations considering that it was recommended by a friend but I found the meat to be kinda chewy.Ordered the beef skirt (restaurant recommendation), beef tongue, forgot its name but its shown as 2 pieces in the picture. The taste for the skirt meat was good but it wasnt tender so I had to keep chewing and chewing and chewing before swallowing. I hate this exercise for my teeth. Beef tongue taste was good but inconsistent in its texture. Some tender some chewy. Last 1 (2 pcs) flavor was good and tender (at last). Only this 1 was the saving grace.Perhaps the chewiness could have come from not understanding how best to cook the meat. In this case, itd be on the onus of the restaurant to provide a guide (Or google yourself).Love that the side dishes consisting of kimchi, beansprouts, potato, and cucumbers are refillable. The eggs that were cooked gradually at the perimeter was a nice touch. Service was prompt.Paid 108; 54 per pax.

Ordered the pork skirting meat and skewers. Love the juiciness of the pork skirting meat. Staff was attentive as well. Will be better if they provided some sort of instructions for first-timers in the restaurant.

I guess they must like doing menial chores like topping up tables lettuce very frequently. Im visiting on a Saturday, 5pm, and seorae desperately needs either more servers, or just more efficient ones. Most are running around not doing anything, and it was really hard to get anyones attention when they are always looking in one direction and not at their tables.Food wise its not bad, I cant complain. We had the set and should have gone ala carte.Id rather go to tanjong pagar. A ton of BBQs that have good food and service. Chain restaurants, sigh.ETA:Oh wait. I got served right after we were done with the meal and the server wanted to clear the grill and charcoal. I guess cos its busy outside. Well done.

We were there for a birthday celebration.Was received by Timothy with a warm welcome & offer to keep the balloon & cake aside.Our table was attended to by Kar Heng, Jun Jie & Simon. They were proactive with the service & attend to the needs promptly despite the restaurant was full.The food tasted great, ambience is nice & cozy too.Will definitely be back again!

Korean BBQ with beef. The food is okay not fantastic. The vegetable side dish is quite nice. Didnt like the sauce. The place is not hot and very pleasant to have a meal.

The food is good except the soondubu jjigae. Have never ever seen anything like it. Thick layer of chilli oil on top. Yuck.Service is so bad. Servers with zero ounce of effort and work as if they are owed money. Dead voices and faces. When asked where to submit order on the online ordering system (the button is same colour as the background and therefore cannot be seen), instead of helping, person said just press submit lor. If I know how I ask for what.Please save your money and go elsewhere where the food is comparable but at least the service justifies the 10% service charge.

Crowded place. Reservations are a must. Very good quality meat. Both beef and pork. Can add on for wagyu beef. Promo set dinner is very worth for 4-5 people. Can choose between all pork or beef or mix of both. Each set includes pancake, soup and rice.. Now promo includes free soju! Very worth it.

Second time back here. The quality of the food is really good, not only for the meats but also the other mains. The 반찬 is good as well. They also provide the classic sides and condiments like garlic and salt and sesame oil upon request. Service may be a little slow due to the crowds but the staff are accommodating to your requests. Will visit again!

Went on a Tuesday evening, with a 10% discount under Eatigo. Ordered the 3 in 1 galmaesigal (pork), woosamgyeob (beef), kimchi jeon (pancake), refillable cheese and refillable jug or cold barley tea. Note that not all items are applicable for the eatigo discount.Not sure how authentically korean it is but the meats were really good. The beef was juicy, pork were well marinated without too much fatty meats. The bbq came with free egg on the grill and korean sides as well. The pancake was okay. The star was still the meats.The staff on duty that evening were really excellent. The manager on duty was very patient in explaining what items were applicable for eatigo and took the time to introduce the set meal on promotion as well (its pretty worth it but did not order was afraid it would be too much to finish). The floor service staff also kindly told us to have the pork first before changing to another type of grill for the beef.Great place for a get together with family of group of friends.

This Korean BBQ place is quite busy over the weekend. We ordered pork, beef, pencake and stew. All fine to me while my friend wasnt too impressed by the beef. With All the complimentary side dishes and condiments, vegetable, egg etc., it makes a very good value for money meal!

Very Good Korean BBQ 3pax Lunch on 30Mar2017seorae is traditional Korean bbq, that serves banchan 반찬 sides dishes.they have 3 S$10.90 lunch set. I found out though that bulgogi was S$26.90 as the portion was for 2pax, but that was the price anyway in the main menu.there was a UOB card 1 for 1 promotion for beef belly S$22.90 or pork belly S$17.90, can only used once for each table.server advised that beef belly more popular, and indeed it was excellent! I like this, fatty but very tasty.to qualify for the 1 for 1, you need to order 2 other meats.so we ordered the pork skirt, which was a favourite here.a normal serving is S$21.90 for 170 gram. we decided to order the platter which is S$29.90 for 270g. we picked the normal & one seasoned with garlic.there was also the LA galbi (beef ribs) which other bloggers mentioned was good, so we ordered that as well.the pork skirt was very good.the garlic ones were somehow more tasty…& we all liked the beef belly. it was really good. very flavourful.quite shiok actually, especially when it is S$22.90 & 1 for 1….the LA galbi was a good meat too.there were 3 pieces for S$29.90, a good serving..it was leaner than the belly…one interesting addition here was the complimentary egg.it’s like a chawanmushi egg custard not steamed but baked by the heat…it was tasty too, especially if you add some of the dips for the meat.& the server came with a kettle containing more of the egg custard mixture to replenish the egg..the banchan 반찬 sides dishes were good on their own..I also used the lettuce to wrap the bbq meat together with the banchan. it was nice too, but again the meat were nice on their own…I wasn’t impressed with the bingsu…not the popcorn caramel…& not the green tea either..I think quite poor in comparison (say) with ice shavings at (a) Mei Heong Yuen Dessert 味香园甜品, OR (b) jidechi 记得吃, or say a green tea parfait at sun with moon…3pax lunch with 4 meat servings & 2 bingsu was S$120nett. I think pretty good.I don’t consider it better than our favourite yakiniku restaurant aburiya,but this is as good an alternative I guess. ambience wise & also having banchan 반찬 sides dishes & egg custard constantly replenished, it is better & service, food-wise just as good & price quite good too especially with the UOB 1 for 1 promotion.

I ordered delivery for sundubu Jjigae and it’s not good. Taste is ok. But the ingredients is so little. So little tofu. Lots of onions. A strip of Mushroom. A layer of oily paste. The pork meat is minced and little and so you can’t even taste it. No shrimp. There is a few clams and that was fine but clams takes space and don’t provide much food. No korean side dishes provided. Underwhelming...

I like it! Went with 4 other girls. Ordered the ultimate beef and pork set. Leveraged on the UOB discount for the 1-for-1 beef. Set came with small magkoli. There was free pineapple soju. Effectively only four of us eating all the meat. But we were full and total bill only came up to $138! $25.40/pax. Very satisfied!

Korean restaurant foods are good, however price are on the high side.

I do not recommend this place , the wagyu beef was totally disappointing, the texture was weird and I had to chew for the longest time of my life to swallow it. Not worth the price at all. The ox tongue was marinated in some kind of sweet sauce, did not taste good.Service was ok in general , food quality is horrible.

Service cannot be poorer, even at the level of manager. We made reservation for a party of 7 in advance, and arrived punctually. The table planning was so poor that we were told that our party had to be separated into 2 tables which were far from one another. On expressing my dissatisfaction, the manager, Mr Yeong KM, corrected and educated me that there was no guarantee that the party would be seated together despite the advance reservation and arriving on time. This, of course, was not highlighted to us at the time of reservation.Food was decent but average.

Pork belly, soybean paste stew and skewers are pretty good, but the dishes are rather pricey without an Eatigo discount.

We had the bbq king set. I preferred beef 🥩 and chicken 🐓. Food is good and same as Service.

Went at 2pm to enjoy the 50% off ala carte menu but my friends and I felt dissapointed. We had to ordered 2 meats, so we ordered one garlic pork and one prime beef. Portion was pathetic thou it was tasty. The army stew was not flavourful and the additional $2 to top up for ramen was upset. Is like only half portion of the ramen. Imagine without the discount, is really expensive for such Korea BBQ. Other than the well marinated meat, nothing is worth my return.

Had soybean stew (non spicy). Lots of onions and tofu, but only three tiny clams and little beef, most of which was fat. One of the tofu pieces was sour with black specks. Soup was not much better than food court standards either. Free flow side dishes are a plus, though just average too. My friend had a kimchi chicken hot stone rice bowl and commented that it was OK, but lacking some sauce like gochujang.

Beef meat is tender and juicy with red gravy dripping out. The best meat I have ever tasted!

About $16/$17 inclusive of gst and service charge??? Dont think Ill patronize again when there is better deal out there.

Food was good. Love that food grilled with charcoal. Would suggest that they serve rice dishes first as after grilling all the meat, soups then our bibimbap came last. Service was okay. Had to raise our hand afew times before they attend to us. Price is kinda at the high side for set of 2person was $98. excluding service charges.

The food is very yummy and item the food is very big size and taste the pork with soju together so enjoy my life.

In general it was good, meat was great, price is a bit high and menu selection is sufficient. To be honest, you probably can find a cheaper koren bbq a bit more out of the city. Nevertheless for a city location, its OK.

Galmegisal is good.Seorae Samgyeopsal super dry and tasteless.. Never tried such a bad samguopsal like this.(tasted like eating paper not a pork)Just stick to galmegisal as its their speciality.

There is a saying that cheap things are not good and good things are not cheap. But this was cheap and good.Sure I did not fly over the moon with their prized meat or anything like that, but they have plenty of meats to choose from, some with very flavourful marinates; veggies, mushrooms, and even side dishes.Not only is the variety amazing, when I was dining here a few nights ago, one of the staff noticed I ate something really spicy and offered to get me a drink. Kudos to that staff.Had a wonderful night with friends here.

Diluted Watermelon Soju, I agree, recommended by the Supervisor or Manager to try the cocktail version with alcohol but oh my goodness, it was just plain watermelon juice.. or maybe they just dont know the proper soju recipe?Also, rather poor and inattentive service. The eatigo discount has its limitations and based on our observations portions were severed lesser.The taste of condiments and side dishes are not up to the standard as well.

Managed to go in on 1 occasion. The only downside is that the confusing menu has no numbering. Kinda hard to cross check the korean names between their menu and the ordering form.

Food was delicious, they give instructions to help you know how to cook the meat faster. It is expensive but worth it! There is also a 90min dining period only, but it is not strictly applied.

I know its post circuit breaker and you have things to sort out. But when I tried to call to reserve you guys said only walk ins. But I came and then you guys said youre fully booked (when you guys said no reservations). Such a disappointment in management and expectations. Wasted a trip down. Please get it together.

Hi all,I would not recommend for anyone to visit this restaurant at all. For some particular reason, all the staff are barely audible. Service wasnt prompt and the food served was a disaster. Beef stew had little to no meat and had tons of onion and cucumbers instead.As observed, the kitchen and service staff seem to be dominated by people who couldnt care less about the business. Our waiter whom we believe to be the manager in charge had little initiative and spoke really softly like the other staff and was somewhat incompetent in his role.This the perfect example of a bad restaurant. It was truly a devastating experience and an utter disappointment.

I think this restaurant is very good.The bbq meat is very very very delicious and the place is gorgeous.I would defintely want to go again the next time!My parents also adore the food there.The meat gives out a great aroma and the favour is superb.Although every thing is perfect,the queue is very long during holidays and weekends.I remember once that the queue was so long that we have to give up.It will be better if u reserve first.I personally think that its a bit noisy because there is many people there.In my point of view,thid restaurant is still very great and i strongly reccomend u and ur family to go there to have a meal.Make sure you dont forget to make a reservation or u will wait a long long time.4 stars for me and i think it should be a great place for you too if u visited it.Although the place is quite far(from me),it is still very worthy to go there.I think that the garlic and idk what meat there was very good.The meat is tender and juicy.There is also egg and the edge of the bbq that u can it.I think its very interesting that the egg was at the side.The first time i saw it i was surprised.Make sure that u go,or u will regret later if u dont.Seorae korean charcoal BBQ SUPER!

We order the pork set plus some a la cart beef for BBQ. Personally I like the Hangjeongsal and Seorea Samgyeobsal. These two meat give the crispy skin, tender and juicy taste if you know how to charcoal them properly. The rest are meh, I can tell whats special about their signature Galmaegisal, and the pancake, bibimbap are much below average. Order only if you want to fill your stomach with more carb, otherwise, dont.Another thing to highlight is their services, HUGE MINUS. We queue from 7pm until 9+pm, thought we can enjoy our time until shop close. But nope, it didnt happen, everyone give us feeling that we have to eat faster faster and faster. Their last order at 9.30 and then people started to clean the restaurant, WHILE we were starting to eat. Staff also very good at Siam (avoid) eyes contact, when you trying to ask for water/side dishes refill. I very sure one of them look away from me when I raise hand, I knew because I also siam eyes contact sometimes.If you want to close earlier, please dont ask customer queue until late. Is totally fine to tell customer you are fully booked and advise not to queue. Dont let customer wait for so long and provide bad dining experience. THE LONGER WE WAIT, THE HIGHER EXPECTATIONS WE HAVE!

Hi all, I won’t recommend eating here as it was pretty average for the amount of price paid. Most importantly, the manager here - Jac was quite dishonest from my point of view. My friends and 1 (3 girls) came here to have our dinner, we first wanted to order separate dishes and a King premium set, however she advised us to order King mixed set which supposedly should come with so called some free dishes - we thought this so called ‘King’ set was similar to the King premium we ordered. And at this point, she advised to cancel a seafood pancake we ordered - first we thought she was quite nice to give us such good suggestion and advice. However, it was a nightmare for us when the dishes came! It was an overwhelming loads of meat after meat - and she even did not advise us to cancel a separate huge dish of pork which we placed in our original order. Just for 3 girls - she expected us to eat this mountain loads of meat as compared to the one we initially want to order. We clarified further with her, and in the end she sheepishly agree to retract back the huge dish of pork, but claimed it was a King mixed set she suggested and we made a mistake about that. I thought she was quite dishonest to be expecting and pushing plates of meat to 3 girls - how are we to finish all! The total price came to a whopping $174! Maybe that’s the price to pay for all that stuff (right price to pay, not right portion for 3 girls), but I just feel the service rendered was too sneaky to make customers ordered a really expensive package. And she seems to be guilty of what she did, and I can sort of feel she was kinda trying to avoid us in the end.

We ordered a few executive sets and were told that the delivery will be made between 1-1.30pm. By 1.30pm, no delivery was made. And the restaurant was not contactable through the contact number and email provided. A note to all who wish to order from them in future to pls call them to clarify delivery time so that u wont be caught in the same situation.

Bright, spacious tables and seats, clean and vibrant environment. Meat was very yummy, side dishes so-so. Price was $60 for 2 adults. We ordered 2 servings of meat and it was more than enough for us, we were both too full by the end of the meal.
