Great food, we had the tuna stew, kimchi pancake, braised pork trotters. Every dish was on point! Love it, will be back.

The restaurant is tucked inside the busy Amoy Street. We did not have the reservation and they managed to have the table for us on the year end night.The meat selection and variety of side dishes was great, beyond the expectation. Beef soup was also great but the meat was a bit too toughService was not so attentive but maybe they were short of staff during busy night. Recommend for those who want to try good Korean BBQ

Good place to enjoy authentic Korean food. Spicy pork trotter is a must, goes well with a clear fish stew.

Have been here twice previously and really enjoyed the delicious food and generous service by the team and the sweet owner. However, it was really crowded today because of the change of dining in rules, but the service staff still did their best to service every table. Free soup and ice cream were given in compensation for the slower serving period. Kudos to the team for holding down the fort and dealing with nasty customers, especially the manager in charge of the third level. Thank you sir! Will definitely be back :)

Family was a little disappointed as not given a chance to sit downstairs. Service was great as we were served our food and answers to your call bell was fast. Food standard is fairly consistent except prime rib was overdone.

Came over for dinner and ordered their ala carte dishes. Ordered the bib bim bap, korean sausage and pork soup, seafood pancake, kimchi stew, soft tofu kimchi stew and a steamed egg. Of course all these food came with 5 side dishes. Firstly the ambience was quite cozy as the place was just like a Korean bbq restaurant. Quite authentic dining experience. The staff were all prompt and efficient. Service was good. Price wise was also on the affordable side and portion was good too. Really value for money. Now the taste of the food was very authentic and good for my liking. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful. All tasted great even with the sides. Overall very good dining experience and will definitely come back another time. Just that the smokiness and oilyness of the grill can be quite strong so please take note. Otherwise it will be a perfect 5 star rating experience.

Spent $237 on an unhappy korean meal today! Service very lousy, rude staff, food so so and most importantly not able to BBQ. They served the meat cooked!!! Cooked meat served on this mini grill?? Its like just heating up the food from yesterday. If they wana serve the meat cooked, they should have informed us about it or at least ask if how we want the beef to be served. I usually have medium rare but today the beef was served well done. We asked for the korean beef but was told no stock yet we saw a box of korean beer on the way to WC.Super not recommended!!! Not worth the money!!

Ok food, poor service.Went to this place as it was recommended for its authentic ambience and food. Had a reservation but they said we didnt - in the end gave us a table on the third floor/attic. Hardly got any service even though we pressed the call button. We werent told beforehand that we wouldnt be able to grill our own food - BBQ meats were served to us pre-cooked over a small charcoal warmer. I get that it was full house but waiters were rude, blaming us for mistakes in the order and missing some of our items. We had to ask 3 times for 2 out of the 3 beef dishes which were part of our set - more than half an hour into our meal and after we were more or less done. Food overall was alright (kimchi stew was tasty but had quite a bit of msg) but on the pricey side too.Overall, the service made our experience stressful and unpleasant. Would not come back and would not recommend to friends.

Patronised this place quite a number of times for its Jokbal which is served with lots of fresh vege to wrap and a bowl of yummy steam eggs, Cold noodles, fermented crab and BBQ meat. BBQ meat is grilled ready and served. No hassle at all. However, If you prefer to grill on your own, this is not the place for you.

Wow. This is one place night owls and those who misses the izakaya styled dinning experience should check out.We found it after Ka Soh down the street turned us away. Lucky for us.The food is honest to goodness homecooked 5-star fare. The Cod was freshest I ever ate (I am 68 years old and have been around). Service was 5 stars friendly, attentive and prompt. And just two of them! The gyoza was out of this worldThe bill was just $85.92 for three of us. (See bill) The experience - priceless. Why overall 4 star? Nothing to do with them - parking fine for over parking. On a Sunday night - free parking assumed. Wrong. Should have used app.Will back for sure.

Excellent attentive service by the owners and staff. Ordered the non marinated samyeopsol (pork belly) and prime brisket (beef), and sundubu jiggae (tofu stew). One staff is always dedicated to your table to grill the meat and serve you, top up your side dishes.Sides are very homely and generous too (ofcourse other restaurants may have more variety but Im ok with the 6sides they offer including a steamed egg.)

Nice place for Korean food. Restaurant is themed nicely and the staff are friendly. Food is decent for the traditional Korean dishes my Korean colleague and I ordered, though it was not as spicy as I expected, so next time I will ask for more spicy. A good experience overall, as we were walked here from the main outlet which was booked out.

Poor experience from the main(?) branch at Boon Tat. Mood was already gone, before dinner started. This place was understaffed, coupled with the fact that there were 3 storeys of seatings. So service was extremely slow.Throughout the evening, the aircon at the third floor kept turning itself off automatically for no rhyme or reason. The big groups in that floor all had a hot pot going, making the room feel like a sauna. Free sauna if thats your kind of thing. Would not recommend

Of all the foods, one miso soup comes out, and when its all cool, I asked for meat or vegetables, so I ended up eating half of the meat, but I also endured the vegetables. If that were the case, I would not have been so disappointed if I had told you that it was baked beforehand.
