The management of this hotel is very good and everyone treats everyone very well, takes care of them very nicely and the hotel environment has served very nice food. Very good rooms. Its a good inexpensive location to stay if you are planning to stay for a longer period. The location is near the beach and changi airport.Plenty of food joints are open throughout the night nearby

Quite a small lobby. Was held here during covid. Room was okay. Bathtub has some black marks. Blanket is very thin. Though this might not be representative of a normal stay as the hotel was used as a quarantine facility when I was here.

I have a very bad experience with the changi village hotel operator. I didn’t get his name.1. I called up and said I’ve left my iPhone original charger inside the room - they told me they throw it away. Why they didn’t call me to confirm first before they throw away?2. The operator cut my call after I said I want to talk to higher management or in charge3. The second time I called back, he just said hello hello hello hello I think for 10x can you hear me? Hello hello? What is this service? I want the person to apologize to me. Can someone call me and explain where is my charger? Is it someone took it? I will need an explaination.

We first stayed here when we arrived in Singapore without an accommodation. Room is spacious, neat and clean. However, it is not too accessible without private transport.

Its a bit worn down but may give it another try once this global pandemic is over.

The only hotel at the Changi Village area. I loved staying there even though it is very far from the city itself. My business was at the Loyang area, so I had no problems. Everything in Singapore is easy to go to with public transport.The hotel provides complimentary bus transfers to and from the airport terminal 2. It leaves the hotel on the hour, and departs from the airport every hour also with 30 minutes travel to and fro.The rooms are excellent, clean, comfortable beds, good lighting, bathtub and hot and cold shower.It has 2 swimming pools, a gym, 4 restaurants. All four of them must be tried, but the buffet breakfast is at Saltwater.My family and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful hotel.

Very good hotel and location is nice if you have flight ahead or you just came aboard. Changi Village is lovely and you can find beach near by the hotel. From hotel you can get a one hour complimentary bicycle rent. Nearby hotel is many good restaurants as well. I truly recommend this hotel. Breakfast is very good.

Went here for a 3D2N recently. Quite a nice hotel. Good food. Very good buffet mix actually, in my opinion. I would recommend this hotel to host conferences because its near Changi and it is far enough from city that it almost feels like youre overseas. :)

Have stayed here a couple of times. Its well located; not too far from the airport with plenty of eateries and shops within walking distance. It is also within walking distance of Changi Beach Park and Changi Boardwalk.The decor of the hotel is a little dated, but rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is good.

Friendliness and helping attitude of all the staffs, neat and clean, spacious rooms, good location and above all good quality foods.

Only good thing is, its walking distance to enjoy lots of good local foods & some pubs.

I had a club room and executive lounge which was pretty good. The service by staff was pretty good. But one employee was a complete standout, Benjamin Tan in the Executive Lounge was outstanding. His proffessionalism to customer service was exceptional. Nothing was difficult for him, he only cared about looking after the customer.Andrew CRm 616

Absolutely Wonderful

The room service there was bad as it took a really long time for them to answer the phone. Not only that, they did not get the request correct. Also, they did not take the guests temperature or put a infrared camera outside the hotel. But the restaurant, Harris, sells very delicious food. I would recommend the mushroom and truffle pizza as it is properly garnished and very cheesy.

Value for money. Near the beach and beautiful park with lots of hawker food to choose from. The hotel is clean and the room was really huge with a bathtub that my kids loved. The rooftop swimming pool was awesome with a great view!

Village hotel Changi is my favorite hotel in Singapore. Rooms are good. I like the restaurant which have a beautiful view to the swimming pool and gold course nearby. Green is always charming. Staff and very nice and friendly. Variety of food available in the restaurant and for order to room.

Benjamin, in the executive club lounge was exceptionally warm and welcoming. The hotel is also very well maintained. However sometimes there are long lines when checking in but it pays off with the courtesy of the staff. Even the guy watering the indoor plants was friendly too.

The room was quite spacious and neat. Although we can feel that it’s a bit old, the room was clean. The swimming pool is a good place to relax. The hotel location is really good as you can walk easily to the hawker center nearby. We also got two complementary bike rental tickets from the hotel. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

I am absolutely disappointed with the service at Changi Village Hotel. I have a reservation at the hotel on the 4th of April. When I reached, I have checked in and they told me my room is unavailable at the moment due to the cleaning services. The lady told me to come back at 2pm. When I came back at 2pm, the room WAS STILL NOT READY. and the staff told me that it is due to the cleaning department. They said they called the department to rush my room, SO WHAT WERE THEY DOING FOR THAT HOUR THAT I WAS WAITING?? WASNT IT CLEANING TOO???? WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS. I came back at 2pm and the room was still not ready. ITS NOW 2:36 AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY ROOM. IT HAS BEEN 2 HOURS. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING. its unacceptable to tell the customer to wait til 2pm, then not have the room ready at 2pm, then tell them to continue waiting WITHOUT AN ETA OR TIMING... this is truly a bad experience.

Stay was pleasant. Staff was quick to respond to customer needs. The entire place felt like a world of its own, with its distance from the busy business district.

Comfortable rooms, great view from the pool. the gym is quiet and nice as well. overall a pleasant and relaxing stay!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were reasonably priced and were very spacious. The bed was huge and super comfortable! The building is a little old but they have done a good job modernising it. The infinity pool on level 8 is lovely. Also great to have the free shuttle to the airport.

Stay was generally pleasant. Relatively large space and modern and comfy furnishings. Good food around and great scenery. There were some things that could be improved like the hallways lightings, ventilation & smells and loose/stained tiles. Service was good too.

I stayed here for a layover. It was close to the airport, and a short walk to the local food market. Rooms were well equipped and tidy.

Many affordable food options just round the corner. A little hard to get to if youre coming from the city, but the location makes for very nice walks by the sea. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable!

Flexible check in times. Great friendly staff and service. Two pools infinity pool on the roof and another one on the Ground floor. Gym on the 5th floor. Cleaning services daily. Green energy saving building. Rooms are adequately air conditioned. Showers are amazing. Iron and ironing board, programmable safes, emergency flashlight included. Room service is available. Beach, local restaurants, Hawker center and 7-eleven a few minutes walk away. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent free shuttle service to airport, and a neat infinity pool at the top - no one else was there when I visited though, despite great weather - so felt a bit remote. Wonderful views! The huge amount of rooms in the hotel makes it tougher for them to maintain them I think, for instance nothing in the minibar when I arrived. At 11 PM after a long flight you don have the energy to and ask about it :) A few restaurants, breakfast seemed overpriced to me (26 and 28 Singapore dollars when this was written). Wondows not completely clean, but rooms otherwise has a lot of space - good when you want to keep it tidy, put away bags, clothes etc!

Decent hotel. Ticks all the boxes. Nothing that stands out in a big way. The pool on the rooftop has a good view of you have some time. There is a strip of small restaurants with reasonably priced food. Good option to stay if you have a reason to be at this end of town.

Sadly the hotel isnt well maintained. The location is interesting but the rooms and building is in a sad state. There seems to be a lack of counter staff. The basement function room has a bad smell towards the toilets. My room didnt come with breakfast, and I honestly wasnt aware. Instead of welcoming me and giving me options of the buffet or the menu (at a cost of course). Instead of showing me to a table, she shows me a menu at the counter. It felt like she was hoping I would turn away.

Stayed here for a staycation. A nice place out of City and price is reasonable. We booked an executive suite and was pleasantly surprised that we get access to the executive lounge.

We had a pleasant stay at the Village Hotel Changi. Staff was helpful, and the atmosphere was charming. Its a bit far away from the city, but as long as Grab is there, it wont be an issue. Shuttle service is available to the airport and surrounded with some nice cafes and bars.

A great hotel. I thought our room was good, large and good facilities; kettle, fridge and iron, and the bathroom was good, but the shower was over the bath. The pools were nice, and didn’t get busy while we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and away from major shops, but there are good places to eat nearby. You can also go for nice walks next to the beach and through the parks.

Great hotel with minimal restaurant at lobby. Japanese and Western restaurants. Lobby is equipped with fews selection of food wending machine.Overall is a good stay but one of the room was having a problem with the water pipe with no water 😬. The manager is very helpful and change the room for us immediately. Room is a spacious, and clean. Bathroom come with bathtub, shower and spacious too. Comfortable and room service is very efficient and good.Buffet selection is quite good and delicious too.They provide a free shuttle bus to Airport and from Airport to the Hotel. Quite convenient and pleasant stay most importantly. Overall quite friendly staffs but not all. Few staffs was rude during entering to the dining areas. Have to improve on this.Most annoying is during the day time, there’s is upgrading work and drilling work so loud at almost whole day time. I think is better if the manager can inform the guests as respects before interrupting their stay on the hotel by right. Need serious attention to this.

The hotel is clean & comfortable. They provide a free shuttle bus two way from airport to hotel and from hotel to airport. Location is good because it’s easy to find food near the hotel.

Service in the executive lounge was good. Breakfast buffet was basic. Location is good, away from the concrete jungle. Hotel is showing signs of age. Needs to be updated. Shuttle service was horrible. Rude driver. Double standard. Helped westerners with their luggages but with Asian/Singaporean/Malaysian, didnt even get up to help us.

Close to Changi airport, taxi was 14sgd, they also have a free shuttle if you contact the hotel. Two great swimming pools to wash away the jet lag. Highly recommended. Very efficient and helpful staff too.

I find out that the Exclusive Club Lounge room in 6th floor staffs are really nice (Ben and Nara) so I change my comment but I still keep other comments.One star for phone service:1. no phone answer. All questions must go to 1st floor receptionists2. no smiles.

Hotel is huge however the interior is out dated but the room is huge for Singapore standard, staffs are the friendliest Ive ever met they managed my claimed (misconnection flight voucher) in professional way also here the tastiest Western breakfast Ive ever tasted quiet similar taste in EuropeView also very nice if you like spotting airplane or sea

Great concierge service but the place is seriously run down. I picked this for the location next to Singapore airport (for our early flight out) and the ability to explore Changi beach and hawkers centre. I wouldnt book this again until they renovate. The only positive was the great rainfall shower and water pressure. Rooftop pool was sad and dirty. Free shuttle was good.

The only good thing about this hotel was its free shuttle service. Despite the ongoing renovation, my room needed a lot of improvement regarding cleanness and changing bathroom tub and sink. The tub was filthy, filled with mold, and it took legit 30+ minutes for the water to be completely drained. Yes, it was clogged badly.

Stayed here for 5 weeks. Hotel was excellent for me. Close to work and a courtesy bus left 8am every morning. Swimming pool was great with a good view of the planes coming in to land and leave Changi airport. Hotel is very busy. Everyone were polite and happy to help. Taxis a fairly cheap in Singapore so you can get most places without any fuss.Hawker markets are close by and ok food. Ten Pin bowling straight across the road is fun.Negatives:Fair way from the city.Food was great but for a long stay there wasnt a lot of alternatives.Smoking on floors that were non smokingAC seemed to change at night to warmer even if I had it set to the lowest function.Overall I loved my stay and hope I am back soon.

A comfortable hotel near changi airport. Rooms a good size, beds comfortable, price decent. If transiting Singapore, a good place to stop over. The coastal walk is worth a look only a short distance from the hotel.

Nice environment as it is near coastal area and with many good eateries near it. Air con in conference room can be a tad too cold at times.

Needs some work and the Windows cleaned but lovely people and I enjoyed my stay.

This is a picture from close to the hotel. The far east hospitality guys know everything about pampering people. Albeit a bit far from the main city, it provides easy access to ferry rides to local islands and lots of halaal food both inside the hotel and close to it!

Lovely place with not one but 2 pools including infinity-view. Free shuttle service to the airport and back. The people are very helpful and friendly, there is a microbrewery near by. Rooms were tidy and clean. Definitely worth a stay.

I had dinner at Harrys Bar at the ground floor of Village Hotel Changi. It was having a 1 for 1 promotion and I had the ribs and fish and chips. Although serving time was a little longer than expected, the quality was certainly top notch. I also had a Harrys signature lager while waiting and it was quite a delicious pale beer with a rather intricate, complex flavour profile. Would definitely go back again. The staff was also very polite and allowed me to take home the unfinished food.

Even if you are a local Changi village is a good place for relaxation.Food is good and affordable.There is also a 4* hotel located here where you can relax if you wish to spend a weekend here.Price is also affordable

Very loud and noisy room, most likely caused by the hotels Air conditioning system. Vibration from cooling tower directly into the room.Neighborhood is nice, but quite apart from the city!Staff is professionally nice, breakfast is too expensive, even for Singapore.Enjoy the pool at the roof top, it is nice.My room was nice and clean, without the noise nothing to complain.

A nice place far away from the usual buzz of the city, near to great restaurants inside and out, affordable or not is up to your choice. 2 pools to choose but the rooftop pool stands out to relax both the heart and soul. The stay is as with any other hotel, breakfast is not bad but could use more choice.

The hotel is a 20 minute ride from the Airport and offers a free shuttle every 90 minutes to and from the hotel.Sadly, the shuttle was already full at terminal 2, so they didnt only leave out terminal 3 but also didnt inform us about that issue.We had to take a taxi during the rush hour and lost over an hour of our short stay in Singapore, though the cost of the taxi was refunded.The hotel itself is clean and big, the glass front as well as the glass elevator look impressive and well kept.The concierge helped us with public transport into the city center and was really friendly.All in all a good hotel.

Poor hospitality

The only good thing about this place is that its very close to the airport. Star, food, beds and the room were Bernie standard.Walked into my room and there was water dripping from the ceiling. Status in bed sheets and dust everywhere.Instead of apologising the Reception Manager Chandu charge me extra to upgrade my room.

Came here for 1 night staycation, room is clean and everything is okay. We were given twin bed even we booked a deluxe room. Called reception to ask if we could change to King Bed, and they sent the housekeeper to help joint the bed and put on new bed sheet and duvet. We were okay with that.We were given connecting room, 1.15am we were asleep and woken up by the guest next door talking on phone with VERY LOUD SPEAKER! Disappointed.

This hotel is a little bit mature so to say. That’s fine but we thought it was near the airport, it’s not. It’s in an isolated location.There was not wifi even wifi. Be aware and check the location and amenities before booking.

It really is a lovely, quite hotel. Youd not expect that given its size and various attached restaurants though! The rooms are quiet, comfy, and have all the little touches you could want to need, including free bottles water. The infinity pool is rather beautiful and just the right temperature too, especially at night! The staff here are lovely and very quick to help with any issues or questions.The only negatives are: the smoking area which is a small area out front thats standing room only. Its not good for people like me who like to sit outside with a coffee and smoke. The other issue is the small coffee mugs in the room, but its easy to walk down the street and buy a bigger one cheaply.All in all Ive enjoyed my stay here, and was pleased to find many food options very close by. Id most definitely enjoy staying here again, and would recommend it highly to others.

Walls Are Thin, Could Hear The Loud Snoring Of Our Next Door Occupant Which Kept Us Awake Most Of The Night. Other Than That, Comfort and Amenities Are Acceptable. Service Staffs Is Professional and Attentive To Your Needs

We were super happy with our booking at the village hotel Changi. Our room was located at the topmost floor with a very nice plane spotter view towards all the landing planes of the Changi airport. The hotel offers two pools whereof an amazing rooftop pool with a nice view. Unfortunately we had to pay extra for the very large breakfast buffet. Other then that you get good value for your money.

This hotel should not be classed as 4 Star. It’s quite filthy especially the windows you can’t see out of due to the mould and dirt. We had to change rooms as the first room the room hadn’t been cleaned and there was hair in the basin. The new room the sheets had holes. When I called reception no one answers. They ended up giving breakfast vouchers because arriving at midnight after a long flight I was mad. Won’t stay here again

Not a practical location at all. There are few buses to the airport, and none are either early or late in the day. I recommend you stay in the city center and grab an early morning train to the airport. Itll be cheaper, and your stay much more enjoyable, for about the same price.

We had the buffet dinner at Saltwater Restaurant and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and the variety good. BBQ, seafood, salads etc were served. Staff there were also friendly and helpful. Would love to go back to he restaurant again.

I selected this hotel due to proximity to the airport. The location is great. You can walk to several nearby restaurants & is close to Changi airport.Ambiance:At initial glance, the lobby and facade is clean. Its a typical business hotel with a vibe that supports that theme. It appears more modern than it is. Once youre past the initial impressions from pictures its pretty dated. The hallways and room had a weird smell. Our room smelled like a combination of paint and used up air. The windows dont open and theres no ventilation or air movement. I initially became nauseous from it. The hallway is dark and also smells like no fresh air has entered in a long time. The worst smell tho was in the gym. I dont even know how to describe it. It wasnt BO. Or maybe not just BO. But it was pretty awful.Service:Most of the staff was friendly, however, we were definitely treated second-class to customers who appeared in business attire vs our leisure attire. Perhaps it was just our luck or coincident, but it certainly felt that way.Shuttle:I had emailed the address on the hotels website to inquire about transportation from the airport. I used the email and name I had used to book the room, provided flight number & other details. The reply said that there was a shuttle, at no charge, but without knowing at which hotel I am staying, it would not be possible to confirm if the shuttle is included, or any more details about the service. I wasnt aware that I had emailed a general support email, for a hotel part of a chain. It should not matter tho, if all necessarily info is included in the inquiry. IMO. We ended up taking a Grab (similar to Lyft/Uber). At check-in we were told about the details of the shuttle service. It runs every 60min starting at 6am (not sure when it stops) from the hotel to Terminal 2. It would have been pretty easy to write that in the email response.I would not stay here again.

Attended a wedding dinner at the hotel. Food was just so so. Only the fish was good. Others poor.

Saltwater Cafe buffet was expensive but you pay for what you get. Their service is top notch, very polite and efficient. Never fail to refill their food for buffet and the seafood is awesomely fresh! Well done! Will definitely come back for more. Oh and please provide carpark complimentary ticket upon payment else like every others, well tend to forget after an awesome buffet.

It is a good hotel. There is good food around the area and I also went there several of times. It is a good location as there is shops nearby and Tang Tea House is not far from the hotel as you just need to cross the road. The beach are not so far. Recommended to stay there if you want to have a staycation.

Nearby food heaven.. Quiet place.. Just little bit too old

The location is ideal, away from the city as we are looking to be more relax. It is not crowded and is near the beach. For our main meals, there are many good selections in the vicinity. We got a club room and the benefits comes with early check in and late check out which allows us to maximize the stay. The room was comfortable and was given a king size bed as requested. We brought our kid for swimming at the roof top swimming pool and there are parts of the pool that is relatively shallow. The pool gives a good view of the sea. The breakfast spread was average but is accepted for the cost of room.

Its a decent hotel out of the way of bustling life in Singapore. The scenery is nice at the pool but I didnt get a room that faces out the ocean. The hotel seems quite popular as it was fairly crowded on a Saturday (school holidays). The scenery may be peaceful but the kids are noisy. Decent service from the staff too but my room wasnt ready until 1 hr 45 mins after check in time.

Positive: hotel located in outskirts , very calm and nice hotel.. Dynamic dining house restaurant nearby gives good Indian food with reasonable price..Negative: they clearly mentioned no tax for hotel bill while booking online as well as in mail, but while check in they charged 80 SGD as tax from me .. Room service not good, breakfast not included.. It may be 15 mins journey from hotel to airport but its far from city.. If you want to roam around Singapore not an ideal hotel to stay..

Good value for the money. A good choice if staying in the Changi Village area. Hotel is well kept. Rooms are not too big but all amenities offered. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

Place is nice in general......but.....somehow the services are not so functional.....takes too long to get a simple complimentary parking ticket.However, the staff for SALTWATER is very good. Attentive and detail.Some Front desk staff needs more training. Would have given a 4 or more instead.
