Came here for a quick bite. Ordered 2 vadais and a cup of tea.The vadais are so worth every single dollar. Nice soft fluffy texture and crispy on the outside. Goes really well with the tomato chutney.

Need to improve cleanliness & should avoid dumping food on peoples platters. They need to identify the style of consumption between different genders & nationality. They have been losing the taste over time so there is a lot of improve.

Good food. Very reasonably priced. Overall, this place is at par with some of the other good, no-frills chettinad restaurants in Little India area. The staff was polite although he did forget my second order. :). The cashier could have been a bit more cheerful though.

This is authentic food from Tamilnadu right here. Its tasty and very affordable, which is a rarity these days. The premises is relatively small and its what I call a Mess style of restaurant (Mess is a Tamil term for Canteen/Cantina). The Menu is pretty straightforward - you get your rice based meals with your various Tamilnadu curries and sides, Biriyani and other items relevant to the Tamil style of cooking and if you are new to the place, feel free to ask the waiter for either the menu or what is special of the day. If you are not familiar to the look/feel of a Tamil style canteen then this place can possibly intimidate you (It can come off as unfriendly and small but that is because its a canteen and not a typical restaurant) but if you do decide to eat food native to Tamilnadu in Singapore, then please try this and you will not be disappointed.
