An interesting place is an ancient temple, to which you have to climb the steps, but its worth it - a beautiful view of Sevan opens up from above. The weather changes all the time - it was in the evening at sunset, but it was quiet and surprisingly calm, although half an hour before there was rain and wind.

Its high above sea level, and its 1900 meters along the river, so you need to be prepared for changes in the weather. I heard it after 18:00 in the evening of the end of September, but it was very cold.There are two churches left, and its a very nice view with Lake Sevan from both sides.

Sevanavank, the Sevan monastery, was built in the 9th century on an island, now a peninsula, east of the city of Sevan. Due to its beauty and picturesque location it is one of the most visited tourist sites in Armenia.
