The Experience was highly Satisfactory after having two successful Cataract operations.My Brother, aged around 55 Years who is mentally challenged had problems with his eyesight - We had him consulted at the Railway hospital for an initial check where we found out that he has been suffering from cataract in both eyes, while the right eye has been severely affected with blurred vision.Doctors at the hospital after analysis have not suggested eye operation citing it a complicated case as my brother is mentally challenged and diabetic at the same time.In Disappointment, we had started seeking other options nearby. As such, we approached Pushpagiri Retina Eye Institute, Marredpally. Looking at the case history and test results at the Institute - Doctors have instilled confidence in us that the eye operation would be possible and would be carried out in two stages - First, cataract operation would be done in the majorly affected eye and then in the second eye with a minimum gap of 1 month.The procedures on both the eyes were successful - My Brother did have tolerable amount of pain which was expected, but did have significant change in vision after the cataract was treated. Also, the doctors ensured that the sugar levels didn’t shoot/dip abnormally thereby avoiding needless complications.Also, not to miss out on the Covid protocols followed - Doctors would start diagnosis only if the RT-PCR test resulted Negative.Dr. Vishwanath is a man with utmost patience, highly knowledgeable and a senior most doctor with a positive mindset. Having trust in him has made all of this a smooth and a panic-free experience. We are thankful to him and to all the Support staff who helped us throughout.

My experience with EYE Institute is highly satisfying. Patients are attended and guided well. Doctors who are attending patients either at the admission stage or during surgery are well trained. Very caring and understanding ppl are there in this institute and the doctors are just amazing. The VP himself attends the patients and explains very patiently. They don’t urge the ppl over there. It is a non profit organisation and hence the place is really affordable. For a normal eye check up, they follow a very different procedure which I haven’t seen anywhere else. The best place to get your eyes checked. We need more such institution. Great work ppl!

Hey everyone:)One of my neighbour refer this hospital so i & my dad went for a check for my dads eye as he was unable to see anything from his eye like the vision was less then 10% as he is a daibetic 2 patient so the hope of getting the vision back was 0% but after the basic checkup they take us to a Surgeon Dr Sai Kiranmayee Madam.She checked completely and said straight forward that she can do a surgery but she cant guarantee of the vision bcz the eye is very very weak so she left the decision of eye surgery on us , so we decided to go for it.You guys cant believe the surgery done by Dr kiranmayee was soooo goood that Alhumduliah ! Now father can see from the operated eye and the good thing is he got the specs. Number.A warm thank full to Dr kiranmayee Maam ,and the entire staff for being so kind and dedicated :)I seriously 101% refer this hospital to everyone and Kiranmayee Madam is the best polite dr ,infact all the drs are so well experienced and professional.Thank you all:)

Vishwanath doesnt deserve to be called as a doctor. Because of him, my mother lost her eye sight in retinal fail surgery. I will never advise anyone to trust his skills.

This Hospital is a perfect example for Never Judge a Book by its Cover. Ive visited this hospital through a friend of mine for my retinal issue and the hospital look wasnt Posh/Corporate. Then I stepped in and saw an young doctor leaning towards an old woman with an eye patch and discussing about her treatment wth utmost love & care (not an usual sight isnt it?). Then I went to reception and they were welcoming and responded very well. My Corporate hospital thoughts slowly started to fade away. Though it was crowded, my wait time was not even 20 mins. They quickly processed my file and I ​happened to meet this awesome Doctor named Vishal. Surprisingly, he was the same one who I saw in lobby. He is a great professional who explains everything and gives you a comfort to make your own decisions. We are living in a fast paced world and we often get disappointed after meeting doctors because they dont have time to explain your problem to you or all their medical advices revolves around more tests or followups (commercial) and further pushes you to dilemma. But my experience in this hospital is totally different. These are bunch of passionate and dedicated medical professionals who does a fantastic job in providing the care to their patients. Surprisingly, the cost is affordable and meaningful. I am on my way to recovery. I recommend this Hospital over the top 10 hospitals in Quora. Good hospital . It will be great if you inform the user about hidden charges ( insurance customer).you have charged me 2500 /- for a medicin with is used to close the eye after cataract operation. I think it is very expensive and more over you did not informed me before about this .the medical shop in the ground floor is not good . He is just stealing the money . They charged me 600/- for just multi-vitamin tablets. I am not sure what is wrong with this person and also no returns. Please buy you medicine out side they are cheaper and you also get discounts. Doctors are great .

Good Service. This is my first visit. I came in the morning by 9:30. I saw a lot of patients but the staff ensured that there was minimum waiting time in getting myself registered and then assigned to Dr. Vishal.Dr. Vishal took my appointment at 10 a.m. I had a minor infection for which the Doctor had taken care with ease. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and I believe I was in good hands.Looking forward to the next visit.

There I met one surgeon, he consulted me very nicely, he made me crystal clear on the diagnosis that I have to take with time frame.I was convinced by google his profile; he did his job very perfectly, he curved my eye infection (took multiple seating, but this was discussed before starting the treatment)Here my all open questions has solved under his guideline.Doctor name is Vishal. I visit PVRI for my regular bi-annual eye check ups. Mr. Vijay Kiran who manages the optometry division is very skilled and knowledgeable. He gave expert recommendation on the type of lenses for my eye condition and power and was very willing to answer any questions that I had.I also visited PVRI for a day procedure - it was done very meticulously with minimal waiting time. Dr Vishwanath who performed the surgery walked me through all the details and made sure I was calm throughout the process.
