Its was good. Pro tip...1.dont wear bright colors as deers avoid it2. Try being their by 4pm its their feeding time could see them closer3. Carry a ball or some cards with you to pass time as you need to patiently wait for them to come
Nice 1/2 day trip
Great place for peace loving people.Deers are so beautiful.
Dont waste ur time, theres nothing to see here. Unless ur interested in just sitting on benches and swings. Entry fee is 15/- per person but no deers to see. The 54 acres they boast about is conservation area (not accessible). The accessibile area is less than an acre with fencing around so its u whose in the cage not the deers.
A good place to go with kids and play... There are some deers also which can be seen at the right time of the day..
Good place for family outing, maintainance is ok, can do better.
Simple and surprisingly very clean park especially the BATHROOMS WERE UNDIGESTABLY CLEAN!!,😃😃😃😃 we were looking for a picnic spot and we visited many popular lake areas but trust on this, those were disgusting! All you could find there was alcohol bottles broken pieces and dirty water of the lake! (Dont remember thw lake name but it was nearer to this park somewhere)Opposite to this ,we landed up to thia deer park which was amazingly satisfying and we found our perfect picnic spot . It really kind of saved our day.😄😄😄😄🤗
2 rating just because it looks like picnic spot.. you can see deers only if you are lucky enough .. and you need a magnifying lens to view them clear
Excellent place for outing with office team or with family, though it is far from the city, once you enter into it will feel good seeing the nature, deer Park, ambience of cottages etc.We took the entire resort for 3 days, to celebrate marriage, Mehandi function and to party with family and friends. Management was supportive.Food was ok can be much better.
Do not expect much from this place!!Youre lucky if you get to see DeersWe went sometime around at 11sh and We could see 30+ Deer herd.
Its a good place for kids and place is so peaceful.
Its just an ordinary park. There are no deers. They are kept in seperate enclosure, not accessible to visitors.Deers supposed to be coming into view, only during feeding time.
Very small place nothing much there. Its your luck if you get to see some spotted deer.
Its an Ok Ok kinda place..very small.. We could see only 2 deers dat too from a distance..
Nice climet, the place is covered with full of trees, not so big, can come with families to spend some time and have food in the woods, no much deer you can see, they come rarely towards to the view points, its completely natural vegetation for the deers, maintaining ok, can be better, entry fee is negligible 15 rs per head. Over all can visit place, near to Shamirpet Lake. Good for kids to play
If anyone planning to visit Shamirpet deer park... Please dont go its waste of time and money
Good place but there is no restaurant.
Nothing much to see. A small park with one picnic shed. We saw only one deer in one hour and it was way inside the park which is not accessible to general public.
Dont go Friends this is nathing too see West of time
Went here as picnic, had lunch in a small shed structure in the park. Enjoyed with family with all the play options. Toilets are clean. And it is good that we were given small place to enjoy and deers were given large place. The concept that we have to wait till they come and not intrude their privacy is good. First saw two stags and after some time a small herd came.
Timings: 9am to 5pm. Ticket 10for kids, 15for adults. No fee for camera. There are about 50 deers but there is no safari to go near them. The staff feeds them 2-3times daily at a specific place and deers come to eat and sit there for some time. We visitors can stand about 200feet from that place and view the deers. Unlike other places, the deers dont come very near to visitors. Apart from that, there is a small childrens park with swings and slides for kids. It is not crowded like other parks so kids may enjoy well. The staff have placed feeding bowls for birds on the trees and hence some birds come to feed and we can view them. overall nothing great. Just an ok place which is less crowded.
Its a great place for both sunrise and sunset... if you wanna enjoy sunrise you have to go to the centre of lake... there is a stone where you can sit ON and enjoy sunrise...If you love boating (pedal boats) then you have to in the evening and boating will be closed at 4 30 pm... and you can enjoy sunset toooThe pics below are during sunrise...
Inside entry is only through Battery operated vehicle which if provided by Aranya Resorts for people who stay there. With direct entry paying 15/- fee, you get to go near the fence where very rarely you spot a Deer. This option is good only when you go during their feeding time as they all gather near the Fence.
It is just a park. Not deer park. You can rarely see a deer....
Its a deer park but hardly you see any deers. Entry fee is 15 for adults and 10 for kids. Though the park area is big the visitors allowance is limited to small area. We have seen a peacock from distant. There are some play items like swing which might make kids happy. Not so good for taking photos also. Travelling for seeing the deers from distance is not recommended but you can visit ear by shamirpet lake also. Nehru zoo Park is advised if one wants to see animals.
The park seemed small, was able to see many deers. Good for a small trip.
Small park. Need to improve facility. Good place for spends time with family. Good work by forest department. Happy to see 🦌 deer,
Very well maintained, real forest experience. Need more such parks to conserve nature.
Very bad. One is only allowed to walk about 200 meters to a fence to view the park and very rarely would you see any deer. They also charge Rs. 15/= for this. I asked for a complaint book and they did not produce it. Said they could not find it
It was a hot Summers day when we visited. Couldnt see a single dear. We need to visit it in the evening when it is less hot.
Weast of time n money.
Actually its a breeding center for deers. A small play area with slides and swings and a few benches are there for kids. Very limited area is allowed to see the deers. Only kids under 8 or 9 can enjoy the park.
No deers, dont believe other reviews. Its a small park, good for a picnic on a cloudy day
Need to improve food & facilities for deersEarth is not only for humans
Good place to go and spend a couple of hours. Kids will enjoy playing here for sometime.
Very bad, please dont visit
Calm place with deers visible easily. Its small in size though but good place for weekend visit for kids
There is no deers like as shown in maps
A Good place to near by sharmeepet people to visit once for plesant and silent place...no much crowd.
Can see few deers, from afar. A park with slides, swings etc for kids to play around. You need to carry your food and water.
A good place to spend time with family and kids.
Good place for family outing.. facilities to be improved..
Access to the park is very less, very small space for visitors
Deers will be far away, it defeat the purpose. It is another just street park ok maintained. Small picnic spot.
I have an issue if its called a deer park. The forest authorities have cordoned off the entire park and put a lock on the iron doors. So you walk through the gate, buy the tickets and walk another 150 odd steps to reach a fencing. Thats about it! After that its a game of testing who has a better far away sight. You open your eyes wide and peep through the fencing to see if you too can spot at least 1 deer in a faraway forest area like the handful of other excited people around you who are claiming a faraway sighting. After a minute you get bored and look around to realize a far bigger and wiser bunch has long since given up on the pretences and are perched on the grass lawns all around and having a mini picnic or some even having an afternoon siesta under the shades of the trees. Afterall you gotta recover that 15 bucks per ticket you paid for, right?
Interesting but have to create ecosystems
Not possible to walk inside.... Just a small enclosed park
Waste of money and time .....Better have a cup of tea its more satisfactory
Nice place to visit for couple of hours.
Nice to spend with children. Saw 100+ deer.
Quite and Decent place for relaxing and for family picnic..
Not so well maintained. But okay for family picnic.
Its nice place for kids, it has small park where kids can play and you seat, enjoy nature. You cn see few deers but its not like other deer park.
Very nice Park
Refreshing
God only knows what it is. You enter - walk 200 mts and you are done. All deer park inside is closed for visitors. This place is biggest joke
Lot of improvement needed. No deers seen
It was sunday expected a lot, but unfortunately they were getting tagged or counted for, so missed out most of the herd...
Good to see deers on poster.till now I have not found any deer and its good of photo session
Shaa meer pet deers park.
Nothing great
Good place for kids to enjoy
Place is very neat. Many resorts are there near by. You can visit the park at 6am in the morning. But not a must go place.
Nothing great about this place. We visited on 1st January when we were on our way to shamirpet.Disappointed!
