Love this place to get shoes for the family, but I feel the staff does not care if you are buying shoes or not.

Does anyone answer the phone here ? I’ve tried to get a hold of someone with no answer. I don’t want to wait in line-for 20 mins to waste my time when it could be sorted out on the phone.

I went into SoftMoc after seeing a flyer that had a pair of boots on sale I liked and felt the price ($119.00) was reasonable for what I was looking for. A sales associate came over to me after I was standing there for about 5 mins to see if he could help me. He brought over the boots in my size when I tried them on I was having difficulty zipping up of one of the boots. So I took it off and found that the inside liner material was not stiched correctly. The material was frayed and was impeding on the zipper. Once I saw that I showed the associate. I asked the associate what they were going to do with the boot since it was not stiched correctly.(expecting him to say send it back to the supplier) He said they will just trim that off where it was getting stuck in the zipper and sell them to someone else They did not have another pair in my size which was fine by me. Since that what they do with issues on products they sell I will not buy anything from there. That was the first and last time I will go into that store to look at purchasing anything. I was very disappointed with the complete experience.

Sales help stood behind the counter and had to be sought out. Neither seemed to have a good idea of where the shoes we requested were actually located, despite assistance from the computer. The one helpful thing was being given the option to order the shoes we requested and have them delivered to the house without shipping costs.

Could use an improvement in customer service times. Theyd sell more shoes if they didnt leave you standing there like an a hole waiting for a size...

When I walked through the grand door way into a brightly lit haven of customer service and quality prices I knew I could find anything I wanted there, Infact I was at Tootsies and they recommended Id go to soft mac for a better selection and they werent wrong even a little Im going to be wearing my non slip black shoes for Millenia because of the confidence the employees had.

I bought a pair of birkenstocks and tried them on in the noisey store (music etc). About a week later I noticed that in the silence of or home, they made a clicking sound with each step. Quite annoying and not right for the money I paid. I tried to bring them back for replacement. Although I didnt have the original receipt or box, I did have a print-out of my Visa bill which had the amount and date purchased on it. They told me that I was out of luck because they could not hear the defect in store with their music going and also they could not replace them without the original bill and box! I asked them to search their computer for the sale because I had the correct date and amount but they refused to help me. Customer service is terrible! What happened to the customer is always right ? Never darken their doorway again nor will I recommend them!

Found winter boots on sale at a great price. I wish the sales person would have helped us, we had to ask for help. Maybe thats normal, I dont really know.

No, no. I disagree with al these negative comments. Sure they were busy. Yes I had to wait a bit. But they were friendly,efficient and doing their best under stressful conditions. Good effort you guys. I would go back again.

The only place I buy work shoes. Always great service. Andrew was very nice to deal with. I was in on my lunch hour, he was very helpful and got me in and out quickly. Very happy with my purchase.

Staff seems overly busy to be as helpful as theyd like to be. But theyre fairly friendly. Some of the shoes are not that comfortable or quality for the price but some are really great quality and very comfortable for the price. So they get an average rating from me.

Truly terrible customer service. Nothing is ever in stock. The staff are too busy ignoring customers or chatting with each other to even notice if anyone needs help. Pretty sure you should acknowledge customers as they come in, and ask if if people need help. Your customers shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience especially since a lot of things are kept in the back or need to be ordered. Staff should be more attentive. I honestly i love the styles and prices of soft moc but Sarnia’s location needs to step it up in the customer experience department, thank goodness for online shopping is all I can really say.

If I could give you less than one star I would. I went in to your Sarnia, Lambton Mall location to purchase sandals for myself and 2 pairs of shoes for my 5 year old. The shoes he chose were on sale for $44.99. When I opened one box for him to try on I noticed that they had a tag on them that said they were $39.99. As a person who worked for 12 years in retail, I know the price listed on the item has to be honoured. Your staff refused to do that. Their excuse was that they were an outlet store and it wasnt even one of their tags. I then had to explain to my son that he could not have the cool shoes that he had picked out. I will definitely be putting this email on social media and informing the BBB.

I went in here with my dad to buy him a pair of shoes. The selection seemed pretty good and the store was well organized, but the young girl working was just a wallflower. I had to fight to get her to help out. My dad, being quite old, had to try on a few pairs since he didnt remember his size. When we figured that he was a size 10.5, but Birkenstock brand only measures in European sizes, the girl asked Do you know what European size that would be, or should I start bringing out a bunch of random sizes?. I was in disbelief that I was being tasked to figure out the shoe conversion, but I Googled it and figure out out for her.

The guy who helped us was super friendly and acknowledged us right away

Stopped into this new store today. The ladies were very helpful. It was a very busy place today. The ladies didnt seemed stressed at all. Very professional.

Helpful staff, they ordered the vans I wanted as they didnt have my size. Shies were in the store within two days. Great experience overall

Horrible customer service, sales staff chatted amongst themselves, I needed to interupt their conversation to request a shoe to try on, once I had my shoes she disappeared to have another conversation with a different associate, they seemed very inconvenienced that I wanted to buy something. I will never go to the Sarnia store again.

Staff are okay. Selection is pretty good but there doesnt appear to be as much for men as there are for women. Pricey, I know they carry good products, but it still seems to be pricey.

Understaffed. Waited over 15 minutes to be assisted only to find them out of stock of the two pairs we were interested in.... Stores like this spend far too much time with invasive, time consuming personal information collection and annoying promotional attempts, all at the cost of lousy/slow service..... We Left the store feeling pretty annoyed.

Soft Moc always seems to be able to deliver decent shoes for whatever occasion.

Great selection. I was the only customer in the store and the staff members sat and chatted with eachother and didnt even look up when I asked a question. Didnt end up finding what I was looking for. This was a few months ago though so perhaps there are new staff?

Personally I think that softmoc shoes in the lambton mall in Sarnia is overpriced! Very overpriced! the store does have some great employees and is always clean and people tend to shop there a lot which is great but not quite for me personally. But hey it might not do it for me, but maybe for you, if you like slightly overpriced shoes or extremely overpriced shoes... you never know.

This shoe store is so great. There are shies and boots for the whole family. You must check it out.

Terrible service. Had to continuously hunt down workers to try on new sizes/shoes. Avoid.

Seen a pair of winter boots there last winter which I should have bought but procrastinated and missed out. Ive not yet seen them this year, but the young lady I spoke to said that not all inventory is in as of yet. I shall keep an eye out for them and heres hoping the style hasnt changed.

I have visited softmoc at the Lambton Mall a few times, and Ive never been able to get the attention of a sales associate. Today I went in to buy a pair of Sorel boots that were on sale. I waited in the store for a few minutes holding the boots. I lended up leaving and coming back later because no one was available. An hour later I went back, grabbed the boots and the sales associate eventually saw me holding them. From across the store, she asks me what size Im looking for. I tell her my size and she huffs and says no. Never came anywhere near me, just talks from the other side of the store. She tells me theres a green pair on the shelf, but shell go look in the back. I try on the green pair and the same sales associate is back helping other people but never came back to tell me she didnt find my size in any other colours. They were very cold and very unhelpful. I left very frustrated and with no boots.

Good deals for select brands

They have Sketchers and a few of the other brands. They always dont seem to have enough sales associates. Or I just get ignored because they must think Im just dragged there by my wife.

The people working stood around the counter while we were there. My girlfriend asked about half sizes the worker told her that they make them but doubts she has them. Didnt even look.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Was in there walking around for so long. Not even a greet. Im looking for boots which they have but wont spend were your not helped.
