Great pizza! Generous toppings, quality ingredients, recommend a must try for pizza lovers

I never miss the opportunity to order pizza from Di Menna. Been around since the 70s and theyve never let me down.

We ordered pizza from this restaurant yesterday. We had it delivered. I must say I was very disappointed. It was soggy and greasy. The topping slipped right off! I don t know what happened. Usually pizza is very good. For a large pizza with tax and tip it cost almost 40 dollars! For that kind of money I expected a decent pizza!

Agree with one other writer. Maybe the pizzas are great. But I had the grilled salmon and I can say that I never thought a restaurant can miss the mark on cooking such a fish. Grill marks give off a smell which I suspect is from the grill not having been cleaned in a while. Disappointed to pay top dollar for such a dish. Didn’t come garnished as advertised and sauce’s top layer thickened into a slimy film.

We found this restaurant by chance and my husband and I are absolutely so glad we did. Not only is the atmosphere beautiful and very romantic (as well as calming and relaxing) the food was perfectly cooked. My husband was tempted to order a second plate of his order of short ribs to go but we were in a hurry to make it to see the Cirque du Soleil. Our waitress was wonderful. We were visiting from the states and before we headed back we made sure to have dinner there again. We even had the same waitress which we were thrilled with. She remembered us and even asked how the show was. This was our favorite place to eat during our trip to Montreal. Definitely check it out.

I cannot comment to the pizza, which has much better reviews. However re the lasagna and pasta dishes, arancini, chicken wings, and Insalata bocconcini. Not worth the hype. The food was bland... nothing special, and definitely not worth the cost of each dish. I was expecting some quality food, and it felt like I could have gotten the same food in a food court low end restaurant. So not bad food per se, but definitely not worth the money.The service however was fast, efficient and timely!

I dont usually write negative reviews but I have to say my experience at this restaurant was by far the WORST. I would not recommend anyone spending their money here. Rude lady on the phone taking my order and owner Conci is extremely disrespectful to his clients, speaks to you as if we are below him!!!

Great Italian food that feels like Nonna made it. Nice contemporary atmosphere, with an area for small parties of people.Frozen counter is awesome, also! Pick up a few pizzas or lasagnas for later in the week.Highly recommended!

Went on a stormy winter night with friend and our daughters. Food was absolutely delicious and wholesome! The girls loved the tortellini soup and pizza! I had the most amazing mussels Marina as an entree..best I ever tried! Hot and fresh with a delicious slightly spicy tomato sauce. Will definitely go back 👍

I have a customer at DiMenna. Tonight, I am waiting 2HRS for a pizza I ordered. The lady at the counter, told me it was on its way!!..where is it? Folks, go pick it up. Because, this is horrible.

Excellent pizza as well as service. Having been my pizza place (it serves more than pizza BTW) for the past 25 years I can say the quality gets better and better. Only negative is that the small pizza is usually over cooked. I mean the crust is burnt, although still edible.

We called at 4:50 for pick up , they told us 30 min , we received our order at 5:55 .Very fast to make us pay , but TERRIBLE SERVICE , never bothered to actually go see in the kitchen until I asked for a refund at 5:50 .Food was good but not worth the aggravation.

Very tasty Italian food and great service! The staff is friendly and courteous. Their pizzas are amazing and all are made with fresh/good quality ingredients. Also, delicious pastas with various flavours and selections for any taste. I highly recommend this restaurant. Always make a reservation.

One of the best pizzas you can find in Montreal. Nice crust, excellent cheese. Good toppings. And, pepperoni which tastes like pepperoni.

Awesome restaurant. My wife and I went with our four year old and our one year old and had an amazing server. He anticipated our needs as parents before we had to communicate them. More importantly, the pizza was delicious! Seriously awesome pizza. Go. Eat.

Absolutely amazing homemade Italian food! Fast and super friendly wait staff. Atmosphere is beautiful! Quiet but so modern. Extremely clean restaurant :) HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for that comfort food.

We are holding a family party here in May and went in on a Monday night to arrange the menu. We had dinner and the food was flavourful and well-prepared. Our waiter could not have been more polite or helpful. I am always excited to eat here because the food and service is excellent.

This freakin pizza is awesome. Best non wood oven pizza there is in Montreal. Generous on toppings and pizza size too!! Quick service counter is convenient. Love it. My go-to pizza place.

Nothing special had much better veal at bring your own wine in laval resto ! Is it di menna or is it di money too expensive for what you get But i have to say the pizza is amazing !

Di Menna has average food and terrible service. We waited over an hour for our main course and the waiter was rude when we asked him about it. It took 4 hours to have a simple meal of appetizer, pasta and coffee. And the food was definitely not worth the wait!

Tried the cannelloni and the Ribeye steak.The pasta was perfect, but the steak, while cooked to my taste, was too salty. Would be 4 stars if the steak had been salted a bit less.Staff was friendly, but I would have to go back at a busier time to evaluate.

Best pizza in the east end. The modern dining room is nice but staff are inexperienced and lacking the refinement and welcoming that we all enjoy from Italian restaurants.Again pizza is legit.

Ordered the large special and havent ordered anything else from the menu its that good!! The meat sauce the crust its a hit every time! Not 2-4-1 and not cheap but as with anything else - you truly get what you pay for! Family tradition kinda pizza momma would be happy to eat!

Great service, reasonable prices, great food, and the bruschetta was a good touch. We ordered pizzas (Hawaiian and sausage all dressed) and spaghetti and they were all very good. The waiter offered great service and was professional.

Very good food. Lots of choices and they have signature plates that you need to try like, for example, the ossobucco plate. Great place to have a party also. Private room available.

The place was pretty classy and sleek. Servers were unpretentious. I walked in for some late afternoon lunch and thought the menu was quite pricey but was pleased to find one small pizza that fit my price range -- the Napolitano pizza. Although I wish there were more available in this price range as a lunch option, this one was glorious. It was everything I wanted at the time-- wonderful soft yet crispy crust, delicious sauce and generous amounts of cheese. I also ordered two double espressos with milk. Also very good. I do not think you will be disappointed if you try this place.

First off let me start by saying I’m a regular here at Dimennas... I called an hour in advance to pick up my well done thin crust cheese bacon pizza. When I arrived to pick up, my order was incorrect and didn’t have bacon. She made me wait half an hour for a new pizza, I was not impressed by the service nor the way I was treated as a regular. I wasn’t compensated in any way for my time; when I got home the pizza tasted like I was eating Nan Bread (indian Bread) with cheese and bacon. I was confused and started to question the quality of this restaurant. It’s not like it once was. 👎🏼

Absolutely perfect Lasagna, huge portion, and sauce almost as good as my Grandmas. Meal came with fresh delicious Bruschetta, and hot, fresh and soft rolls with a crunchy crust. Servers name Stephen (Steven) and was prompt, polite, and friendly!! We will be coming back!!!

The place looks really great, the food is good. Mind you I ordered a specific type of Pizza and they didnt have all the ingrediants. But that happens. Unfortunately if you want to be served in English. Its not going to happen. The waitress would not even make an effort, not even to say hello or goodbye. My client couldnt belive the waitresses arogance to not even try. Its sad. I chose not to respond in french simply because she wouldnt make the effort. If she would have made the slightest effort i would have without question switched to speaking in french.

Website on google say they are open....but when I got there restaurant was closed....drove all the way with friends to find out....just their take out food is opened....really not good..so we went to Jarry Smoked meat...too bad they lost 3 new customers that never been there.

I want to give this a 3.5*. I used to consider it a 4.5. Quality has dropped and the cheese is not he same as before. Its also an oily pizza. When I do get it here, I now buy it frozen and heat at home. Although not much choice in St leo, its still one of the better ones but the price often makes me go to other pizza joints. Prices are very very high.

They are making the best pizza I ever ate. They use quality cheese and sauce and this makes all the difference when you compare to other places.

Old style Italian pizza ,27$ for a large all dressed ,very good .

We ordered 2 extra large vegetarian pizzas and honestly, the amount of cheese they put, should be considered a health risk. I am serious here, on most of the pizza, the cheese was 1/4 inch thick.

Ive been a loyal client at Di Menna since 1997 as food has ALWAYS been excellent. Either on the phone or dining in, Im always greeted with respect and a smile. Their delivery personnel are punctual, grateful and also very respectful.In my honest opinion, DiMenna has the best pizza in town.. bar none, as their dough is delicious and toppings are plentiful. Their gnocchi alla Catarina will have you hooked. Their veal is tender. Eggplant Parmigianna will have you wanting seconds. Whatever you choose from their menu, you will never lose out. Although their prices are a tad higher than most, quality comes at a price. Not many restaurants in St. Leonard which can hold a candle to Di Mennas authentic Italian meals. Attention to detail is what these people are all about.Obviously, I highly recommend this restaurant 👍🏻
