This is place which located at Sirhind Canal near by Sadar Bazar.

This bus stop location very good and you get buses for your destination easily like chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, jalandhar, patiala, nangal, una, jammu, Delhi and etc

Old bus stand (Local folks call it Purana Adda or Purana Bus Adda) is the entrance to the old city. Crossing the old bridge on Sirhind canal, connects one to this small citys long main bazar passing a long way through the city, with many small market streets tributing to the main bazaar.If you happen to stop here for a while and you are a vegetarian, do enquire and taste Fish, especially Nangal di Machhi (fish from Nangal area).

Its easier to get a bus from this place to destinations like delhi, Chandigarh and so on. The buses here are buses from other destinations and could be that wait time would be long. However it wont take the bus long to move.

No shelter here if its raining.

It connects to Chandigarh on one side and Jammu on the other side. Connectivity is good but need proper managment for seating place etc. A link road close to it, connects to Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh as well. Around 500m from this stop, there is a Rupnagar railway station. This place is famous for the ancient Indus civilization and that Indus (Satluj) river still flows there. However, now Rupanagar is well known for an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar.

This bus stop, is situated on rupnagar_ Phagwara highway at rupnagar, very suitable for people wish to travel to Chandigarh, Jalandhar, or Amritsar cities, as it is situated on main highway so, so there is lack of basic amenities for public, as New parmanent bus stop is announced by state government, on same highway, public is waiting, eagerly for same

The only purpose it serves is that few buses stop here (mostly everyone wants this). There are no seating arrangements and a lot of litter around.

This bus stop have no such facilities but you could board bues to Chandigarh amritsar himachal etch.

Convenient for arrivals and departure of buses and shopping center petrol pump n hotels
