A great experience to be in this temple. On the ground floor you leave your shoes and then the climb up starts.There are many floors to climb, a long walk to the top where you have many opportunities to buy religious souvenirs in one of the many shops.Once at the top, you can make an offering and receive a tilak.But you can and may go upstairs, but you can also receive blessings down the street.For many years I have been going down the road to the small Ganesh Temple to make my donation and get a thread around my wrist that I leave until it falls off.Through this thread I will be reminded of this beautiful temple, Laxmanjhula, Rishikesh and India for many months.I think thats a great gift
