Location of hotel was really fantastic. From your room window you get a very lovely view of mountains. Also they have very spacious balcony attached with room. They also have extra very big common balcony, where you can sit with your group of friends and family. Though the infra was not that great but that really doesnt matter if you are getting such a good view and balcony. You can get hotel with good infrastructure almost everywhere but getting a hotel with a very view from your balcony is important if you are going to a hilly region.

Rishikesh is such a place that once it comes, it becomes here then I have been living here for a long time. Meditation Yoga Ayurveda is very special.

Being close to Laxman Jhula is a plus point of property but feels like owner dont take proper care.Unhygienic room and no proper amenities. Not to mention, Overpriced as well.

As a budget hotel, it is recommended.FYI: Mountain view rooms cost 1200-1400. Rooms are Ok. Gyser, AC were there, quite clean. Room service is not that good, they take almost 30 min time for 5 mins task.

Property is good, but below are my takeaways:#Dont rely on gps for directions to reach this hotel. Take the narrow poor road from Hotel peepal tree to get there.#Parking could be a problem but the hotel management helps to sort that out.#Coming to the rooms, yes they are very very good at this price. Seperate geyser in each room(washroom).#wifi, room service, power backup everything is good.Fooooood? They serve good food per your requiremnent. Kitchen per the guest needs and taste. I had dinner and breakfast at this place. Dinner i found it bit pricey but otherwise it was good.Happy Staying

The room was very nice. It was large, clean and classy. Bathroom was king size. Dont follow Google map to reach this property. There is a hotel named peeple tree on the main road, against the road leading to laxman jhula. Take narrow path adjacent to peeple tree hotel. Go 200 meter straight then take left turn in the street of moustache hostel. There was no disturbance at all.

Rooms were dusty, Bed linens were dirty. Hot water cattle was dirty. No toiletries ( they will give substandard stuff if you ask). No water bottle provided (given only after asking with argument). No tea bags/sugar/coffee pouches. (Upon asking they say that we only give if guest ask). Very Costly for the kind of service you get.Tapovan resort was conceived by Lt. Located approx 500 m from Laxman Jhula, one of the old property in area but still maintaining great hospitality and services.We were group of 3 sisters (adventure freak) who visited during Holi festival (2014) for 2 nights only for River Rafting. The hotel will arrange you for the river rafting as well. The person will pick you from hotel around 9:30 and drop at the rafting point in around 20 mins, join you for the private rafting for good 1.5 - 2 hours and drive you back at hotel.Room was good. Clean bedding and no hustle while asking for extra bed, got me coziest blanket as well :) The balcony view - mountain and lawn area, which looks amazing when the sun rise. Food was good as well. I really wish to spend more days here.Note: The area is bit tricky to reach, better ask locals instead of trusting GPS.Room Tip: Rooms with balcony facing lawn area and mountain.
