I went to Swargashram Cottage after seeing video on Youtube made by a Youtuber. And I must say that accomodation at this place so under-rated. They are not five star hotel but they do take feedbacks seriously. Rather, it s a best place to stay if you want to enjoy Ganga river view and mountains together. One suggestion if you need anything like cab service/cooking vessels, pls do inform the staff they will try thier best to assist.

CEO Col. Shrivasyava is fully dedicated to provide all facilities to Sadhus, pilgrims stayed there and trying to run all Social services, Bhandara through Swargashram trust require for needy peoples.

This is one of the biggest and known trust in whole of Rishikesh or Uttrakhand. This trust has made many resonably priced guest rooms. The only problem is a staff situation here. Most of the cleaning team is not very efficient..if that is sorted than this place is amongst the best for longer stays.

I enjoyed the ashram

Temples are nice always.1. You will feel peace here.2. Near by street is filled with roadside snacks.3. Chotiwala restaurant is on walking distance.4. Ram Jhula is on walking distance.5. So many guest houses are near to this place and you can afford those easily as these are not only cheap and best but also good to spend one night.

Swargashram Trust is the union body trust of the holy institution of Swargashram Rishihesk. It is joined by the historic temple of Baba Kali Kamli wale maharaj campus and river banks of holy Ganges.It is also the first pilgrim destination after Ram Jhula and is located very near to the Ram Jhula gate.

Peaceful place for living. Rooms are good according to its price. Swarg Ashram Trust is located near Ram Jhula.

I stayed here for almost 31 years and worked in this renowned Swargashram Trust for 25 years till August 2012.Its an oldest public charitable trust of this area which is khown as Swargashram.Its a very beautiful place situated on the bank of Maa Gangaji.

On the middle of year 2017, when I was traveIling in Rishikesh, I was short on cash. The auto rick-shaw driver suggested that to complete my visits to the temples in Rishikesh l should try to adjust in Swarga Ashram which was near to Ramjhula. When I visited Swargashram, the trustees said that I can stay in the aangan (open area) of Swarga-ashram for free. They also suggested that I can use the toilets and bathroom ( for no cost) of their ashram which was adjoining their ashram. The trustees also said that the only expense Ill have to bear is for my food and snacks in the hotels of Rishikesh. Thats what Impressed me deeply.

An average place to stay

Maybe Indias oldest trust working properly. My father was there in 1932, when he was a freedom fighter.

It is organization run for the welfare of people who are travelling to Rishikesh.. It is widely spread in acres of land with several houses, dharamshalas, rooms. They offer accomodation at ₹ 400 - for non Ac rooms & ₹ 700 - for Ac rooms. Due to good weather through out the year Ac is not necessary. For reaching here go with Ram Jhula.. Local market is connected with it.. Taxi For Neelkanth will be provided at doorsteps of dharamshala...
