I went to the south location and used a coupon for a free loaf of bread when you buy 6 sweet rolls. Everything was amazing and the sweet rolls did not last long. The service was friendly and they had alot of selection. I will be back again and the location is easy to get to. I would recommend stopping in to give it a try. A+

Cobs Bread sent us some coupons in the mail recently, so we popped into their south Red Deer location to check it out. We scooped up a 6 pack of sweet cinnamon buns & got a free loaf of bread with a coupon. The bread honestly wasnt the best, but the cinnamon buns were great. Id get the cinnamon buns again.

I kept seeing this place and decided to stop in one day. Their Icing cinnamon buns are amazing! Was a huge hit with my family of 5! My husband also really liked their spur dough bread and hotdogs buns as well.

I love bakeries, and the food we tried here was pretty good. It was just one sample though.

Cobs Bread is about as close as a large scale Bakery can get to a neighbourhood Bakery. The loaves have a slightly mass-produced feel to them. But theres definitely nothing wrong with them. Theyve got a fairly broad selection for a small storefront. Scones are yummy. Cinnamon buns are a tiny bit bready. The danishes are a nice sweet treat. The large loaves have that same square look thats some bread maker bread get. But theres nothing wrong with the product. Staff is nice and the prices are ever so slightly higher than grocery store.

I travel 100km from out of town to buy the best sourdough bread😋 I buy 8 loaves at a time and freeze them.

I spent 10$ on 2 buns and 2 croissants . I just started making my burger Pattys for dinner and realized the buns are hard as a rock . I ended up throwing all of it out and decided to eat my burgers without the rock hard buns. I wouldnt even feed them to my dog. Very disappointed. Ill never go back or recommend it to anyone. Over priced and not fresh at all. Dont go here !!

The service on the south side is phenomenal.. I have not only bought what is available..but have, on several occasions, ordered specific bread for work and family functions... the owner/master Baker has never declined an order, even if it changes the work schedule a bit... For that, I am grateful and willingly pay for their superior products. The staff is friendly and welcoming -with always a cheery greeting and a smile... the premises are clean and you see what youre getting... I recommend this location to everyone I know..

Great service. Delicious breads. So many varieties. I love the Mediterranean croissants. The pesto pull apart bread has real garlic worked into the dough. Stop by and try their wares.

Always amazing selection and decent price for the quality of bread. My favorite is the High Fiber loaf. Looks and tastes like ols school delicious white bread but packs a punch for amount of fiber loaded into it. Grrrreat service too. Oh and always yummy samples

Love Cobs!! Ham and Cheese croissant is the BEST! Unfortunately it sells out really fast. I think they should make more of them instead of the other types of croissants. Normally get one in the morning before work but lately they havent been ready when I arrive.

Will not ever come back to this location, counter person was great... the elder lady working along side her was rude...She said dont get them a grocery they cost money... other girl replied I ask if they wanted one..... if you want a rude experience, then by all means go there...

I like how they have everything fresh just of the oven. Good place to buy bread. Not cheap though but its totally understandable

Have been to Cobs in Airdrie and find it to be excellent. So we tried Cobs in Red Deer. Disapointing! We find everything we tried to be under cooked. Also our favorite scones are Berry/white chocolate so yesterday I purchased 6 scones, and specifically asked for berry/white chocolate and when I got home they were Blueberry /lemon and already they are soggy. we will wait till we can go to Airdrie to make our purchases.
