Cmpdi is one of the subsidiary of Coal India Limited. Its a mini ratna govt. U/T company. HQ of Cmpdi situated in kanke road, ranchi, JH. Cmpdi plans underground, opencast mines. Exploration is one if the main business of this company. Its also provides consultancy to environment, blasting, IT e.t.c related issues. Campus of cmpdi hq is very nice and well maintained. Facilities like gym, indoor games, lawn tennis, children park is available here. Campus as well as office of Cmpdi is very net and clean. There is a primary school inside the campus.

Also working on various diversified areas in the construction projects and methane gas exploration and extraction. Didsikes - having limited potential. If training is imparted to its work force, which is really talented, its strength would be uncomparable
