This is one of the premiere R&D institute of Steel Authority of India Limited focussing on Steel Industry related research

Its research and development centre of SAIL, Ranchi which carries different research works related to iron and steel products. It also has a management unit which takes care of overall work system of the companys different departments. I worked here as management trainee and it was nice experience for me. Staffs here do there work religiously. The policies, procedures and guidelines are followed by every employees working over there.

I did my summer training here during the summers of my 3rd year .It was a nice experience . People are very friendly and are always helpful.Pros:1. Good learning curve.2. Excellent infrastructural facilities like library, canteen, etc.3. Industry leading technology and services provided by them to the various companies .

Excellent R&D organisation for Iron & Steel and affiliated technical disciplines. Enjoyed working for 38 years.
