The college campus is very attractive and the crowd is also huge. The infrastructure is having beauty itself also the teaching staff is so experienced and friendly Government lectures.. The library was very good. Lab facilities were good for the civil branch as we had all new equipment like dumpy level, theodolite, total station, etc. But the mechanical branch didnt have big machines, and they used to go to another college. Really proud 🙏🏻 GECR Youre Awesome!

Spending 1.5 lakhs for 1 year in private clg and spending the same amount for whole engineering here is a better option a good huge building with a good staffs makes the one of the best government engineering college in karnataka.Around 500 mts far from the mysuru road highway. The college has placed a bit far from the town but fir transportation all the facilities are available

Am presently in final year Mech. There are always pros and cons of any place, and this college is also included.• If you can adjust a bit with the summer weather here and can study independent. Then you have a fair college. Also in terms of fees. Its better.•If you are not so financially​ strong, go for it.•Some labs are not there, but they are taken care of(We had lab in 3 different colleges. In a way its Nice)• You can have a pleasant stay if wish to 🤘

Good teaching and support from lectures.. But no placements. No fencing for college surrounding.. Water supply for college is bad and the college is maintained bad. Thats it.

If there is attendance shortage students should be fined by vtu and not lecturers. Students choose government college because of less fees but fine is collected for attendance shortage telling they would not get average, if not paid. Exorbitant fine from ₹300 to ₹5000.Money making professors.
