These guys are super knowledgeable, quick to respond, and HONEST. Kevin looked at my specimen under a microscope same day, free of charge, and consulted with their staff entomologist (they even sent me digital images). They were able to confirm 100% that I DID NOT in fact have a bed bug (2 other exterminators had taken one look at a blurry photo and insisted we needed a complete bedbug treatment!) What a relief 😅 Definitely go to MMPC first!!

Upon emailing M&M about a mouse infestation in our apartment, Mindy responded within an hour and scheduled a technician to visit the following day. Alan showed up at the scheduled time, listened as we shared what we had already tried as far as prevention and elimination techniques, and then thoroughly (and patiently) inspected all areas of our apartment while our large hound dog energetically tried to assist him. Alan was able to identify a mouse hole we hadnt found ourselves and helped us close it with the materials we had on-hand. Additionally, he made helpful recommendations as to how to further reinforce small openings and prevent future entry. Everyone at M&M was prompt, kind, helpful and responsive -- everything you can hope for when dealing with an unpleasant situation. I couldnt recommend them more!

Doug helped me deal with a cockroach issue. The amount of effort and detail he put into his analysis of the problem really made me feel better and he dealt with the issue so quickly. It literally took one treatment and my cockroach issue was essentially solved! If you have a bug issue, theres no one better to get help from!

Mold remediation. Building management brought this team in for the work.Stephen did the initial assessment and was friendly, professional and knew what he was doing. Jeremy and Jackson removed any trace of mold from the closet and set up machines – dehumidifier and air purifier.Again friendly, professional and took great care to protect my furniture the walls and me by taping the electrical cords.But Stephen and Jeremy (and perhaps Jackson I don’t know) studied environmental some thing in college. So this company is hiring employees who have already identified a passion for the field.So impressed with the team and the company.

Herbie and Dexter was really professional. They looked visually and sniffing. Good thing no bedbugs were found, only some carpet beetle casing. They are pretty honest even though there were blood stains (from nose bleed) on my kid’s sheets they did not claim we have bedbugs just to get extermination work.

Loved everything about our visit with Herbie and Dexter today! The inspection was efficient and thorough. Dexter is a super adorable canine, and my daughter enjoyed meeting him (afterwards, of course). Dexter was super friendly and gentle with her. Herbie answered all of our questions and provided us with different options. He was sincere, and we did not feel like he was trying to sell us anything we didnt need. Moreover, we were wary about having people come into our home with the pandemic, but Herbie had on his face mask. My family and I had a very pleasant experience with Herbie and Dexter. Wed recommend them to any of our friends and family!

We were extremely happy with the thoroughness and expertise of the inspectors and the person who actually did the work. They were wonderful. We had another company do our apartment about a year and a half ago. They were not even close in comparison to M &M... so far inferior. I would recommend M&M to anyone who has a pest problem. In addition, the office staff was polite, and so anxious to help. They were understanding. I grade this company five stars and an A+++++.

I reached out to them by phone and email with some diagnostic questions and they have been very professional and interested in answering my questions well. One of the identifications that Kevin suggested appears to be on the mark (plaster beetles). It would be better if the dog inspection service were less expensive but for all I know it may be a competitive rate. I was also told that an in-person identification of a sample would be possible by one employee but then told otherwise by another, maybe for covid related reasons. However they have been plenty responsive via email. At this stage I would recommend their service.

Richard is very professional and knowledgeable. The problem is fixed and Richard continues to monitor and going the extra mile to make sure my house is free of rodents. I cannot be more happy and very satisfied with his work. Richard is also very patient and was ready to explain and answer all our concerns all the time while doing inspections.

Discovering that we had bedbugs was one of the worst experiences we have had in a long time. (I do recognize how lucky we are in other ways!) Another great experience with Team MMPC. Theyve been monitoring rodent traps in a part of our basement that is now easily accessed from a construction site next door and when we heard a commotion the other night we knew we caught a a big one. Kylen came out the very next day and helped dispose of the pest, clean up, and reset the traps--and put us at ease during this crazy time were living in right now. You cant put a price tag on that!

I called MMPC after a different exterminator mistakenly identified a bedbug in my apartment. I wanted to have the dog and inspector come to be positive before I moved any further. I called at 4pm on a Saturday and they arrived at 6:30 that evening! The inspector was very knowledgeable and quickly identified that the bug was indeed, not a bed bug. The dog did his search as well and the inspector gave me lots of tips about preventing all types of pests in my apartment. Quick, great service and thank goodness saves me the trouble and cost of fumigating our entire apartment for a problem that didn’t exist!

I lived in Manhattan for some time and recently moved to Downtown Brooklyn. NYC... you know how the place is when it comes to pests. Its the home ground for them.Recently I found a possible roach in my new home. Its a relatively new condo. I panicked when I saw one as one of the reasons I moved was the stress of living in an old Manhattan building. I contacted M&M a few times regarding the identification of pests.I contacted them via Yelp and their official website, and Loren reached me back within an hour even on weekends. He was accommodating, informative and professional. I emailed him the pictures of the possible roach, and he took his time identifying it which I appreciated. Its much better than give a glimpse of it and guess what it is. He called me back and confirmed they were in fact not roaches but only beetles that just kinda resemble baby roaches! He didnt hurry to explain what it was but took his time in a professional matter on the phone. He even advised treatments of the beetles and assured me its nothing to worry. Most other companies try to suck every penny out of you for just identifying bugs or even send technicians with fees. Ive heard some companies just straight out lie to get more money out of you. It is so nice to have providers you trust and can rely on, especially when it comes to pests! We had never had any sort of a problem in our (small, only 5 apartments) building but, unfortunately, some German cockroaches moved in, presumably on a cardboard box (I hear they love the glue). Before we knew it, there was a colony living under our wine fridge. I understand it can take time to wipe them all out. After the first visit, some moved under our standard fridge (likely eggs hatched). I was thrilled when the second visit put an end to everything. We have seen zero activity since then but continue to have check-ups during warm months to ensure we never have a problem again. I have also arranged for them to visit the rest of my building (neighbors and cellar). Communication with M&M is simple. They are very responsive to email. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone Ive emailed with, talked with and met. Ive had several visits, met four different providers and would gladly meet them all again. They are also surprisingly punctual. Im used to 2-hour and 4-hour windows for arrival times that rarely happen on time but M&M gives a 1-hour window and they have been right on time or early every time.

They sent someone over the next day, he was prompt, thorough, and knowledgeable, and in the end he advised me that I could make a couple of minor fixes myself—no need to pay for a service until I had an active pest situation. I first used M&M a couple years ago.I moved into a bed bug infested apartment (and out of it within 6 days.)When I told the landlord that there was a problem, he sent his own exterminator to inspect. It was a sketchy character that determined that there was no problem. I knew he was wrong. I was covered in bites that were all welted up. I decided to get a second opinion. I was referred to M&M from a friend of a friend.That same day they were able to send out an inspector with a dog. Of course they determined that there was in fact an infestation. They recorded the whereabouts and extent of their findings and gave me a copy. Thank goodness!!!I attribute the use of M&M to being able to get back all of my money from the lease. The landlord could have sued me for breaking the lease, but because of my inspection papers from M&M I was able to prove that I had moved into a problem, that was already in the building. (I also knocked on neighbors doors, and was told that the lady before me had a bad bed bug problem, which the landlords conveniently failed to mention to me.) The landlord had also signed a form stating that there was no bed bugs in the building (let alone apt) in the last year. ANYHOW... the landlord AND the Realtor ended up giving me all of my money back, plus some money for damages. With my inspection from M&M I was able to prove that they had fraudulently induced me into the lease, (by telling me there was no infestation they knew of, when there clearly was.)Fast forward a few months and Im in my new place, I have just taken some things out of storage, and I am paranoid as ever. Once again I call them up and they have an inspector and dog come over discreetly to inspect right away. Thank goodness there is no problem.Since then I have emailed and called Timothy numerous times, due to random bites or bugs in my apartment. He is always willing to help in any way, and look at photos of the bugs I find. Thank god, it has not been bed bugs!!! M&M are very professional. They have been so great to help me out/reassure me by phone/email for free too. They are fair, and will help if they can without making you use a service that costs money. Theres a reason that this place has such excellent reviews - I found M&M on Yelp after spotting carpenter ants in our basement. I spoke to someone on the phone and was able to schedule someone to come right away. Raymond and Anthony came on time and were both very kind, considerate (took off their shoes), and provided very detailed explanations. They gave a lot of information on carpenter ants, showed me their entry points, walked me through their plan of attack and why they were doing each step. It was not cheap, but Raymond also walked me through some less expensive alternatives (combo of them doing less exhaustive treatments and us doing some home treatments) as well and allowed me to decide what I was most comfortable with that would be safe for my young children and dogs.They came a few days later to carry out the plan we agreed upon, and I could not be happier. Ants are gone, and I feel confident my home is protected. They left our home clean, and also did a walk through around the periphery of my house to ensure no other entry points were left compromised. Raymond really went above and beyond to explain everything, as well as what to keep an eye out for in the future.Fast forward a few months after the treatment and I called again to ask advice on what to do about mosquitoes. Raymond spent a great deal of time on the phone walking me through what I could do and that coming in would hopefully not be necessary. He really cared about my home and family and doing what was best financially/safety wise with maximum effectiveness. They also ID bugs for free in case youre worried about any critters. These guys really take great care and pride in their work and I could not be happier recommending them!

I couldnt believe how quickly the pest ID service got back to me to identify the photo I submitted. I was in the midst of full blown panic that the bug I found was a bed bug but the entomologist that called me on the phone calmly asserted that it was not a bed bug. He promptly identified what type of insect it was, described its characteristics and how to get rid of them. I am grateful that there are people out there who can identify a bug from a cell phone photo and put my racing mind at ease. Prompt, professional, knowledgable. I highly recommend.

I have been using MMPC for monthly pest control since July and I could not be happier with the results or quality of service. This review is for Terrance (TJ) and Junior.After several years in our apartment, we started having a significant roach problem which was causing a lot of anxiety and stress. Drug store remedies were not cutting it and we didnt know where else to turn. When I called MMPC to schedule an initial treatment I was at the end of my rope. It was on a Friday night and there was no availability for same-day, but the dispatcher (who was so nice and helpful) said she would put me the cancellation list for that same evening. Lo and behold, there was a late night cancellation and Terrance came knocking on our door at around midnight (!). He was so thorough and reassuring - you could tell that he really wanted to help. For being so late, he took his time, didnt rush, and his calm demeanor and professionalism helped to put me at ease. Since that night, we have had MMPC come back monthly and the peace of mind is worth every penny.We have had treatments by both Terrance and Junior and each time they have more than met expectations - always punctual, follow up on every bait trap and glue board in the apartment, take pictures, etc. MMPC really knows their stuff and I strongly recommend requesting Terrance and/or Junior!

I havent used them for their physical services but they were great in helping me identify an insect based on a picture I sent. I found a dead insect on my floor. Was concerned it was a termite. M&M Pest was amazing! It is pretty hard to imagine raving about any experience involving bed bugs - and if you’re reading this review you probably know what I mean. I would not wish this on anyone, but these guys were there for every question, extremely responsive, and so professional. Most importantly, they really know what they are doing and their comprehensive method eliminated the problem for us. We worked mostly with Daniel, who was fantastic, but their inspector and treatment team were also nothing but great.After it was all over, we saw a small bug that looked like a bed bug about 5 weeks after the second treatment. We panicked, and sent a late night email to Daniel with a photo attached. He wasn’t in the office at that time, but Jason responded within 10 minutes telling us it was a shiny spider beetle and explaining how he knew/how to avoid an infestation of those bugs also. This experience is a perfect example of how this team works together to make the experience as positive as possible - calming anxieties as quickly as they can, stepping in for each other so you have support when you need it, and being very knowledgeable about the subject. I can’t recommend them enough!

This company is FANTASTIC. We had a bed bug infestation and our landlord refused to properly treat the apartment. They did only a visual inspection and spot treatment. We were absolutely without confidence and called M&M. They came in with a canine and did a proper inspection of the premises. When the dog located something in the walls they called me over to be present when it opened and the paint cracked so that I could see the finding for myself...bedbugs.The landlord still only offered to do another perfunctory treatment and M&M came back and did a second inspection when we were bitten in another room and again found bed bugs.Thanks to them we were able to break our lease and move out of the apartment because our landlord refused to treat the apartment properly or accept the canine inspection!!The inspectors were super polite and friendly. The company was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the process and giving us alternatives on how best to treat all of our belongings and to kill the infestation.If you are experiencing an infestation you know that you are robbed of peace of mind and comfortable sleep. After having our belongings moved and fumigated we have since been able to sleep comfortably and rest easy again.I highly recommend M&M and I rarely do internet recommendations!

I could not have asked for a better team to work with throughout my saga with bedbugs. On Saturday evening, I sighted a bedbug. On Sunday morning, I called M&M and unleashed all of my neurosis to Tim. I told him about the crumbling reality of my life since seeing a bedbug, and I detailed how Ive been throwing away and cleaning every household item. His voice calm and rational, his approach was reassuring and sensitive to my needs. He listened to the sounds of my anxiety, and he told me that it would be ok. At that time, nothing soothed me more than his professional suggestion. Although he was booked that morning, he made it work. The team called me 10 minutes because arriving and showed up at 11am. The inspection was thorough and professional. The guy answered all of my questions and made me feel a lot less hysterical at the end of the appointment. After the inspection, Tim sent me a detailed report with photos and description of the problem. I called him to discuss next steps. His patience and expertise in this field was evident in our conversations. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. Thank you for being awesome.

Excellent service, quick response to phone calls and emails

Ive relied on these guys for years now. First, when I had roaches in the ground floor apartment of an old building. The issue was so upsetting and difficult to control I was on the brink of breaking my lease -- my fear of roaches is phobia-level. They came and sealed every nook and cranny, and even followed up with me unprompted some time later to see how everything was going. I didnt see a single other critter for the remainder of my time there. I was a nonbeliever in the effectiveness of extermination and AMAZED with the difference. Now, Ive had to call upon them again (recently moved into another old building..when will I learn). Within the first week, I saw a big roach -- the flying kind, the stuff of nightmares. They responded right away. Kevin, who Id worked with the first time years before, came and assessed everything and his team sealed everything up. I didnt see another one again for another four months, when the weather got warmer and new cracks formed. They came again for *free* to patch up the new problem areas. Havent seen another since. These guys are just the best, most compassionate, timely and effective team. Would highly highly recommend!! Also, shout out to Jason for getting back to me so quick to help ID a little bug I found in my bathroom and verifying that it wasnt a bedbug!!

The exterminator my building uses is a joke, so I’ve turned to M and M twice now to take care of my apartment. Customer service on the phone is great, and the technicians who arrive have always been friendly and knowledgeable.

When you are dealing with something as traumatic and emotionally draining as bed bugs, these are the people you want on your side. After 6+ months of fighting bugs, my husband and I were no closer to getting rid of them than we were when we first found them. The pest control company our landlord had employed to help us had even given up trying. We wanted our lives back and had zero hope. A friend of mine suggested I reach out to M&M and, within five minutes of writing them I had an email back outlining a plan of action. They told us that there was no reason to give up hope and that they would help us take back our lives and our belongings from these tenacious creatures. M&M delivered on that promise and then some!M&M and all of its employees were kind to us, patient and extremely informative every step of the way. I found some a bed bug at my boyfriend’s apartment and was terrified that I had brought them back to my apartment. I actually had an appointment scheduled with another NESDCA certified inspection center but they never showed up. I looked for another certified center and found MMPC - everything happens for a reason! Stephanie was very patient and calm with my paranoid self and scheduled me for an inspection less than 2 hrs from when I called. Herbie and Dex came over promptly and gave me the all clear - Thank God! Not only did Herbie listen and answer all of my questions calmly, but he also responded promptly to a text I sent him after the appointment asking for preventative recommendations. Dex was a sniffing superstar, too (don’t want to ignore him in my review as he did a lot of the work!). I hope I don’t have a need for MMPC again, but if I do I know I’ll be in good hands.

I called M&M Pest Control a week ago, regarding a bug issue. They were quick in their response and identification of what bug I had. From There they scheduled a canine inspection and identified all the problem areas. As of today, I am bedbug free. They were quick and knowledgeable and I would recommend this company to anyone with pest issues.

First let me say that I didnt actually have pests, so I didnt have treatment from M&M in my home. However, I was so impressed by their assistance I wanted to write a review. I called M&M to inquire about the cost of a dog inspection because I had a fear of bedbugs due to some strange bites on my neck. Rather than immediately scheduling a costly appointment Timothy calmly talked to me for about 15 minutes about what problems I was having. At the end he said he didnt think I had bedbugs, but suggested I try a few other options to figure out what was going on. Turned out he was absolutely right and saved me the cost of the inspection. The other services I called did not go through this but rather jumped direct to recommending a costly inspection. While I didnt have a need to use M&Ms services (thankfully!) I would absolutely call them in the future if I did need pest control. Thanks Timothy and M&M!

We found a strange bug in our apartment and were terrified it was a bed bug. I called M&M right away and they gave me an email address to send a photo to. Daniel emailed back within 5 minutes and confirmed it was a shiny beetle (thank goodness) and was harmless. Highly recommend!

These guys are amazing. You can email them a photo of a bug 7 days a week and they will get back to immediately with what it is and if you should be concerned.

I call them because of good reviews online and really disappointed with their treatment which I spent more than $500... can’t believe how they can do with my hard earn money. I am a HUGE fan of the team at M&M! A previous landlord used them for a major job and they were amazing throughout the whole process. Experts in their field and kind above all else. Obviously dealing with customers who are going through stressful times, they were available for questions and advice whenever needed.Ive contacted them multiple times after I moved out of that apartment to weigh in on concerns Ive had and they are always quick to respond and provide insight. M&M Pest Control was fast, friendly, and evidently experienced. I called them on a SUNDAY evening to get help identifying a few bugs I had found in my apartment. They asked me to send them pictures, and within about ten minutes, I had received responses identifying each of the bugs with links for further information. If I ever need help with pest control again, I would definitely go to them.

The level of professionalism and knowledge with this company is uncanny. I cant say enough good things about them. Weve had issues with mice and water bugs for years in a previous apartment, so weve seen our share of exterminators, and this company is lightyears ahead of everyone else weve tried. Not only did they do the job, but they actually CARED that our baby, who is going to start crawling soon, had a safe place to do so. I would recommend them to anyone having any kind of issues. They seem to have a wide range of specializations, and the training and certifications the employees have are very impressive. Ask for Raymond if you can. He was awesome.
