This place is by far one of THE best in the neighborhood. Each time I visit I experience fresh food and affordable snacks and farsaan.Staff is very patient and courteous despite the rush and would offer a sample to help you ensure the taste.I have catered for my personal and professional events and the service has been an absolute pleasure with authentic taste and best prices.I am surprised to see reviews with people complaining about random stuff.
Amazing place for indian food and snacks. 100% vegetarian kitchen. They deliver all around the nation. My shipment to Pittsburgh was delivered fresh the same day when ordered in the morning.Would definitely recommend this place. Much better than other Indian snacks store.
Love their farsan, always fresh. We bought jalebi and papdi for Dussehra.
Place use to be very good, now with new management and new manager, feels like they don’t care about the business anymore.
Diversified variety of snacks with competitive price & good quality. Food tastes good. Located conveniently, best indian food around the area
Bought Khaman oday, chutney came along was smelling, may be kept without refrigeration. Should be careful about what serving to the customers
Most recently I bought $ 120 worth of sweets. All the sweets was horrible in taste and spoiled. Penda was soured; Ghari was made of mainda no pistachios. This place is ripoff. Temperature outside was 90 degree hot and same temp was inside the store. I ask lady if the sweets was kept in proper cooling place.? And she confirmed everything is good. I am going to all NY health dept to investigate and shutdown this place before some one died.
Good customer service, Delicious food and reasonable prices
Very low quality food ... I bought sweets because they said they are real usha but I was very disappointed when ate that sweets...Chatni with full of waterBalushahi very old and low qualityGujia— very low qualityAfter calling them I don’t think they will change the quality of food.... thanks 😊 please please check the quality of food before buying ....
There is this lady worker there who has no professionalism. She talks to customers as if she is doing a favor to her customer by giving snacks. Today, I witnessed this worker was skeptical and annoyed to a customer when they wanted to taste her order, which later she figured it out that it was not fresh. Everyone complains about this lady . I wonder why Real Usha Sweets doesn’t take any actions for improvement. I wish Usha aunty was alive. She was a real professional owner and worker.
Ants in the Package!!!! - Am a regular buyer from Real Usha Foods and this time we got 1 item out of 3 ordered with Ants. And the ants were only in one of the items, while the other 2 were intact with no issues; so it just does not make sense. When talking with Mr. Bhavesh Shah about the issue I was told that this could have happened in transit or at our home; inclined towards happening at our home. And the only option that he could give was a credit of $11.00 as I was told, the fault is ours as we did not open the package as soon as it was delivered. Package delivered on a Friday and I opened it on Monday, which is totally fine as these are snacks and not fresh cooked food that could go stale in hours/days.I was told about how to deal with perishable goods and packages that contains food. I am not sure if this is my fault but if you are ordering again, please be careful! While Its not a matter about the credit of $11.00, but about the customer service since I requested for a replacement for the 1 item and there was nothing that could be done about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
Food is good, service is not good, they make mistakes, dont remember orders, keep people waiting even if there is no other customers, but food is great
This is the worst place I have ever had.. staff is pathetic and they use chemical Colors in their sweets.. pathetic quality
Had the bhel chat. So far so good except the sauce doesnt keep it a bit crunchy, instead mushy. Its not the best but it didnt suck. I wanted the bombay sandwich but they said they didnt have it even though its on the menu. Not sure what else is not there even though its not on the menu. I had no problem with the service.
We had ordered for 70 people. All food was good and very delicious. Everyone enjoyed!!!
Thanks Bhaveshbhai, as promised I received entire shipment in one day.Everything is very well packed, impressive! 70+ lbs. Thanks to Meeraben for awesome service. And most importantly love all of the snacks!!
I bought a few samosas today. The outer shell was very thick and uncooked, and the potato filling was very bland. I will never go there again.
Too much corn starch in green and sweet chutney. Chole with samosa is not cooked the way punjabi Chole should be. Worst taste ever. Waste of money and time.
Not at all polite. if you want to run a business you should know how to treat a customer with respect. Not worth it. got it😡
Real nice Indian flavors...must try!
Best Jain food. 100% Vegetarian kitchen .Convineance and best price.
Very well organised and welcoming restaurant. They offer large meals and for inexpensive rates. We enjoyed the food a lot and the staff members were very amiable and informative. I recommend this place.
Very dirty.
The best sweets here!
If this is Gujarati food please specify on your Advertisementbecause serving of sweet yogurt and sweet in mint or green chutney is your Gujarati concept. Not traditional North Indian cooking style so you should have choice for customer who do not prefer to be forced of condiments of your concept because when asked for plain yogurt , or chutney without sweet they said they don’t have or won’t serve .In Bellerose there is big mixture of Indians from different part either specific or styles of cooking and please Don’t fire your idoolgy on other people and I am aware of the fact that I don’t have to shop . But what right is right Thank you
The Food is Great! Service is Awesome!Ive recently caterer from here for my Engagement Party and the food was awesome, Recieved lots of compliments from our guests. Their Sweets and snacks are always fresh and mouth watery!I really recommend this to all who are looking for the Real Food... The Real Usha Food!!!
Good food highly recommended but there is no parking and they guy next door is super rude I parked my car there for 2 minutes and he blocked my car and tried to call the cops on me for saying I was trespassing
Good 👍
Nice place . My favourite is pani puri n many more tasty dishes😋 .
Very nice and clean food. Love their Samosa chat.Good customer service
Very rude people. Had catering for home event with them and as soon we open one of food got spoiled. even in this winter season. Very embarrassing moment in front of guest. Inform them next morning. Instead of admitting their mistake counter people and owner kept arguing rudely. Never recommend anyone to this newly managed place. Old owner were very nice and helpful to customer.
Nice and tasty
Even Edison cannot compete with this place. They make the samosas, kachoris and sweets so fresh and tasty. Jalebis are to die for.
Large varieties of indian food. Taste is ok.
Booming business. Food always fresh and tasty. Prices within the norm
Bad customer service. They ignore your emails. If they made a mistake in sending out the order, they dont care to correct it as it will cost them additional shipping costs so their solution is to ignore the customer. Very disappointed. I guess if your business is booming you dont really care for online customers.
The sweets are good and so are the Indian snacks
Great food nice and clean place service excellent
We bought couple of hot items from them and it didnt even last two hours and it got spoiled.
The owner is very rude. He catered one of my events and some of the food was spoiled. He would not admit his mistake and on top of that he verbally assaulted me. I would never recommend anyone come here. You will probably end up with food poisoning. The owner Ashok Vora can be heard verbally assaulting me in the sound clip below.
Food taste ok. could be better.
No place to sit. Usha sweets are good than real Usha
I have no words. My family and I have been going to this place for years. Oh not to mention they’re strictly vegetarian SMFH.. way to Go Usha. Dead mice. I would like to hear what they have to say
Please do not visit this restaurant, I ordered catering for a religious event and the food was COMPLETELY spoiled. I called right when we noticed the food was spoiled but they were too busy closing their shop and told us to bring the food the next day. My guests tasted the food and through out their dish right away. The next day, we brought the trays back to the restaurant and they were completely rude and did not want to deal with it and prolonged refunding my money partially.Today, I went to talk to the manager and he was rude and was cursing me out, please see the attached video, it is in Gujarati. For your own sake, please dont go to this restaurant you are better off going to Sagar Ratna.
Nice and friendly place with good snacks
I love the foods especially Cholla Bature!!
Nice
Really good authentic sweets and snack. Service was a little slow but otherwise very friendly and willing to let you sample some things before purchase!
I go here at least once a week for the samosa, and at least once a month for the sweats, great . And the sauces for the samosa are my favorite.
Have been a regular customer for years. New owners have so far maintained the quality.
Good supply of Indian Sweet and snacks
Best place for sweets and farsan. Excellent catering as well
Best place for traditional home made indian snacks very good Dokla too... always busy but worth the wait
Good indian snacks and sweets
The best place to get sweets in NYC... Always busy.. But worth the wait
Very slow service after new management and raised prices and employees are always agruing in front of customers
Fresh Indian sweets n stuff
Clean/Good service/Always fresh
We have tried sweets from a few different places in NYC, and this is by far the best Pakistani/Indian sweet shop that we have come across. The place itself is small, but their sweets taste authentic. We tried the gulab jamun and they taste delicious. All the sweets are made by a Pakistani guy from Lahore and he seems to have a Halwai background.
So and so sweet shop ,ladies were too busy and also sweets taste like were given me from ready made and they just opened the container and put in the sweets box of their own and give me.
Great selection. Friendly people.
Nice little spot to get some authentic Indian sweets and snacks. They also sell Indian fast food like chaats and samosas. Love the burfi, especially the besan burfi and the dhokla was also great. Came in today and got a pista kulfi which had great flavor! Servers are amiable and its a small shop to walk in, get your sweets, and leave.
Yummy food. Best place to get samosa with greet sauce.
Delicious and so authentic! Must visit if you’re in the Queens/Long Island area!
Best jalebis in while of NY.
If youre looking for traditional Indian sweets and snacks, all homemade, this is the place to go. Sometimes busy, always worth it.
Go here all the time amazing!
Very crowded and unorganized ordering process. Food items are all fantastic
Terrible customer service... I am giving one star just because thats the least I can give!!!
Customer service sucks for a place that sells spoiled food. Take your business somewhere else.
Nowhere near the taste or quality they claim
Awesome indian food
One of the best I have tried
Sweets are ok but the crisps are really good...
Good service and taste
