For Temple, yes very powerful goodness. best way to reach is by local suburban train. from railway station to temple hardly one kilometer. also i would suggest u all, dont buy any pooja items from temple near vendors. They will easy cheat you. just for 4 lemon 1 saree(poor quality) 1 coconut and 2 neem maalai they charge 850 rupees. so pls be aware of cheating. Before planning to visit this temple get all the poojas items. due to covid the time restriction are there. So plan accordingly n get blessed.

Went to the temple as many suggested. Really very Powerful God. After doing 11 weeks Pooja, we got result. We suggest all to go and worship the God with trust. Definitely she will help.

This place may had powers as everyone suggests. But business became a priority nowadays. Lots of vendors selling things that not even allowed inside the temple. People started to use their insecurity of not having child as an opportunity to snatch as much as money they can. The same thing with fertility hospitals.Try in a natural way. Keep your mind positive. These places are never gonna throw any light into your life all of a sudden. Height of stupidity.

Putlur Amman temple is very famous for wishing for child birth. Due to covid19, limited access to see only the Goddess. Less crowded when I visit @ 4pm evening on Sunday. Free car parking. Temple is maintained neatly inside, but outside it is not clean.

Good Template to visit.I planned to go and pray peacefully but I could not do it, I faced many issues because of in outside sellers and breaking coconut place, all are local people. The sellers will easily charge 1000rs for some basic item. if you touch anything have to pay money to them.Be careful with sellers, please do not buy anything from the shops around the temple is too costly, totally fraud very annoying, they will create caring kind of words and say so much of rules to pooja but dont listen their words do your pooja whatever you want.Temple Administration or Government should take some action to them. The public could not come and pray peacefully mind.

Vendors on road kill u and the ladies outside looks to extract money otherwise temple.has its own charm.

Its completely spritual feeling . Place located small village and not corwded on weekdays except Tuesday and Friday. Also weekend Sunday will ve more crowded. So avoid any plan during above days.

Its A very powerful temple. The goddess here bless devotees who are praying for a child, marriage and good health. The devotees offer garlands made of lemon and neem leaves. And also offer glass bangles. The temple is opened from morning 6 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm. On new moon day the templeopens opens at 5.30 and closes at 10.30. From the railway station autos are available for Rs. 30 till the temple.

As this is covid-19 period, the temple aint accepting any offerings like flower garland and any other workshipping items brought from outside.This temple is well connected from road and rail. So there will not. E anu conveyance issues.Plz excuse for a poor photography as i didnt get enough time and room to take a pic as it was restricted and it was crowded.Till covid-19 plz dont take any offerings as the temple people dont accept it.. however i recommend you make all your offerings in terms of money.The temple gave me the goosebumps and nice vibrations seeing the goddess.The main deity is actually pregnent in the temple, so guys pray well and have a great life ahead. Immediately saw darshan. Sunday, Tuesday and Friday are peak days. Since they are auspicious days for Amman god. Also referred as Putlur Amman temple

May be due to Covid restrictions, the temple in the morning time has no crowd. Dont listen to the sellers outside the temple, they will try to make you buy unnecessarily so many items. Just buy as per your wish, as devotions and faith mostly matters. Some of the important items you can buy for the prayers are like kumkum, bangles, a Kapur, flowers, and some lemons.

One Ponmeni pledged his land to a money lender named Makisuran. He worked in the same land to maintain his family. Unscrupulous Makisuran tortured all the people this way by lending them money and swelled their liabilities with abnormal compound interest rates. He thus swallowed the lands of all. He severely beat Ponmeni due to default in payments and demanded Ponmeni in the presence of villagers to plough the Poongavanam out side the place in a single night on Shivrathri day before sunrise and threatened to do with his life if he failed to do so.Poongavanam is the place of evil spirits. Ponmeni thought it better to fail and die in a day than dying each day. He began tilling the land praying to Mother Karumayee. He saw an old man and an aged woman under a tree. The woman was very thirsty. Ponmeni helped the old man to fetch water. When they returned, they found the woman disappearing. When Ponmeni turned to the old man, he also was not there. When Ponmeni resumed his tilling, he found the plough stuck and the spot began to bleed. A voice assured him of safety and said “I am Angala Parameswari who came in the guise of the aged woman. Now, I am an ant-hill here. Responding to your prayer, I came with Lord Shiva. As my presence had been made known to the world by you, you will be relieved of poverty, continue worshipping me and the Lord.”Within a few minutes the anthill became visible. As the Goddess appeared from Poongavanam, she came to be worshipped as Poongavanathu Amman.

Really it was spritual and mind relaxing..but the people outside in shops keeps on calling youz which is very irritating. Best way to reach temple is by train and get down at Putlur station.

Exactly 43 km from central railway station. When come from chennai no need to go to thiruvallur town before 5 kms you take right on the bridge little road leads you to the temple.

Good temple. Please make a note of the below1. Temple parking is free but some locals may ask to pay Rs.50 for parking. Don’t pay. Behave like you are already familiar with the place or like a local guy.2. If you are planning to offer anything to the temple bring everything from your place itself otherwise shop keepers near the temple will loot you.Maintenance can be little more better otherwise we had good peaceful dharshan.
