Helpful person ,rooms are neat and clean
Excellent service and very good price-performance ratioWe had a very good time at the Moonlight Hotel in Pushkar. One of the managers himself came to the railway station to pick us up. Both owners were very polite, helpful and reliable. The room was clean and nicely decorated. For breakfast, lunch or dinner they offer a great choice of food on the rooftop terrace. We also booked a camel trip through the hotel. The tour was impressive and we were picked up and dropped at the hotel exactly at the time we had arranged.
A very clean humble hotel. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. Its excellent value for money and as a single female traveller i feel 100% safe here. I had the most delicious finger chips and onion pakoras.I recommend this hotel as a good budget option
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, always good for information, suggestions or just a chat. one of the brothers helped us to organize a bike in 15 minutes, which was very helpful as well.the rooms are detailled and clean, some even have a balcony with view on a camel garden.the rooftop restaurant offers an amazing view and delicious food! id definitely recommend to stay there!
Hotel is located at best place in Pushkar. Rooftop is soothing place. Nice room especially for budget travellers. Best thing is the hotel owner is super friendly and down to earth guy. Highly recommended for long stays.
Good hotel, if you don’t need any water at all.We had planned two nights but our stay was shortened to one.The owner is ridiculously strict about the use of water in the hotel. Once you check-in, the owner will tell you that “Rajasthan is a dry place” so “you have to save water.” Which, in all fairness, is a reasonable thing to ask.We didn’t object, promised to save water, and so we took short showers of a few minutes, making sure to stop the water when we weren’t using it. We also had some clothes to wash, so we washed that with one single bucket without relying on the running water. We woke up the next morning to an unexpected tirade about how we had “used too much water” and “showed no respect”, and that we had used water “worth more than 1000 rupees”. He was especially annoyed at the fact that we had washed our clothes because, according to the owner, “saving water means no washing clothes”. He incessantly argued about how we had “washed more than 25 clothes”, when we only had washed less than 10 socks and underpants. We felt that this was unfair, because he had not explicitly told us to not wash our clothes the day before. Nonetheless, we apologized, and promised to be more careful with our usage (although honestly, it felt like there was nothing more we could do, other than stop using the water altogether). This apparently wasn’t enough for the owner though, because “sorry means nothing” and “the water cost 1000 rupees”. At this point, he told us that he wouldn’t let us stay for the second night and promptly threw us out.I know that I’m used to using a lot more water where I come from, but I’m pretty confident that we used the bare minimum for washing ourselves and our clothes. If that wasn’t enough for the owner, then I’m not confident that I know many people who would satisfy the owner’s standard for “save water”.Bottom line, if you are the kind of person who wants to take a decent shower at the end of the day, don’t stay at this hotel. If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t mind going to bed with all the filth you’ve accumulated throughout the day, then by all means, stay at this hotel; you’ll share the same values of water conservation with the owner and make great friends!
It was the best hostel we could find, we stayed two nights and everything was perfect. The place is beautiful, full of colours, art and plants, it’s also located in a convenient area. The room is nice and tidy and the staff is really friendly and helpful. They worked hard to give us the best experience. Food is awesome too! Thank you guys for hosting us. It was a pleasure to stay at Moonlight ❤️
Nice room, service, dealing. Host was familiar with us and helpful. Location was good.
Amazing place... comfortable room Instafstrucre n food services are good. Art collection in hotel is awesome.
Nice hotel moon light
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTELIf you want to have a good trip, you should stay away from this hotel.I booked for two nights, because it was very cheap. I had abundant experiences to travel abroad with my backpack, therefore I know that I could not enjoy luxurious environment with the price. After arriving at the hotel, I found that my room was like a storage room! The room has no restroom, toilet, shower...nothing except for a bed. The restroom was outside of the hotel, and there was a showered but no water. The bed sheet and blanket had a lot of holes(maybe because of bugs), moreover it smelled very bad. Even though I experienced stays at bad hotels in many developing countries, that was the worst in my memory. BUT it was very cheap, so I decided to put up with the room. However, the thing I couldnt tolerate was its owner. He was very sensitive man and very rude. Especially he nagged me about the use of water, he observed me during using toilet. Everytime I came out of the restroom, he followed and asked me Did you save the water? Are you sure? I know water is very precious in this region, but his attitude toward me was not for customer, it was too rude too follow woman to restroom. (Off course, I didnt use much water at all and tried to save water.)After one nights, he suddenly told me you use our water too much, get out in the morning. I didnt understand why well even now. I didnt use much water at all! And they threw my bag and shoes away, and canceled my booking online without asking me!Not only room was awful, but also the attitude of owner toward customer and woman was out of question. You should stay away from the hotel if you wish enjoy journey. There are a lot of cheap and nice places other than this hotel.
The food was brilliant! They give you also other drinks if requested and are really helpful.Good one!It is not so close to my favorite parts of the town but it is a good place to stay and eat.. you should try the Kashmiri alo and the palak!
I called the owner of the hotel moonlight to let him know two days in advance that my dates changed. Once I arrived at the hotel really early, he asked me to wait for 11am which is the check-in time. I had no problem at all with that. So i waited at the roof top. But after a while i felt badly sick. So i asked the owner if i can take the room available now because i needed to lay down. I was shecking, I had a pain in my stomach. I run in the bathroom. Once i came back I asked can I have it now. He stared at the mobile and said no! I asked why? Check-in time is at 11am. Do you have anything for me I am feeling sick. He said who do you think I am, your slave? I said no, I just need to lay down. Still without looking at me but just the phone. He said: go to the roof top and sit there till 11.00. I said thats not really nice towards your customer. He throw me out! He took my bag, throw it outside at 6.30 am dark and sick! This is just an unbelievable behavior! I want to share that review on the website because it tells a lot about the man.
Chilled hotel with cute rooftop dining. Good food.
Nice place,But the cooker/owner was really unpleasant.Better to give your money to somebody else..
Today is my first day at this hotel.Overall i find it good but Hotel service during night is not at all good.I asked for water bottle at 4 in the morning and they asked me to wait till 6 am.I guess water is very basic need how can someone wait for 2-3 hours just to have one glass of water or water bottle.
Definitely the nicest guest house I stayed in in India. its new and located a bit out of the noise of the main road, two minutes away. beautifully decorated and clean, but more than that, the attitude of the owner and staff is what made me stay for longer. Good Vibes indeed.
Its a lovely place with a lovely and honest owner. we took a simple double bed room for 400rp no ac in August. u can ask the owner about tickets and tips as well as general guidance and you always will get helpful and transparent answers. loved it.
Good place, great food, very cheap and comfortable dorms.
Good view room. But if your room is single room with common bath, you have to be ask hot water before 10pm.The manager was little bit sensitive.
Very good hotel, clean, reasonable price, close to the lake but very peaceful and quiet, the rooftop is also good, you can relax all night in the top. The owners are two brothers, they are so kind and friendly, they can solve your any problems even you book the ticket it is also reasonable price. In addition to the food, they cook for guests and it was so delicious and good price. If I come next time, 100% I will come back to live here.
Nice hotel close to brahma temple. Very supportive owner and staffs.
Good room. Nice staff, hot water and good wifi.
Had a great time. We stayed at a dorm in the top right next to the common area. The beds were clean and comfortable. 3 fans in a 4 bed dorm was enough to keep it cool. At night it was surprisingly cool so we were pleasantly surprised that we didnt boiled wihowit AC. The food is amazing and very affordable. Their onsite restaurant cooks food from scratch and can accommodate my non spicy needs. We chilled so much in the rooftop drinking tea that we can not recommend this place enough. The toilet was outside the room and it was clean. No toilet paper is provided tho. We had our own. So no issue there. No hot water but we showered during the hottest hours of the day so we had no problem. Its close to the main road and also to the bus stop .The owner was corteous and very welcoming. Me and my friend were super happy with our stay. Do definitely try the banana/honey pancake. It will not disappoint
Effordable food facilities also, good welcome
Its beautiful little moon light haveli hotels large room with large balcony some rooms are view to the sun rises and some rooms are viewing to the sunset and roof top terrace is beautiful has a restaurant excellent view of the Pushkar town and sun set..... Good things this place is right on the camel fair so you can have a best view of camel fair.... Food in hear is great I recommend this hotel wisit onesTime at hotel moonlight pushkar
Dear FriendI have visited this place on 31 December2018 and owner talk very rudely to customer and dont know how to behave with customer. I am also a lawyer my friend. They also not providing any soap for handwash. In every place you get soap. They are telling people lie they dont allowed smoking but they have intention and provide ash tray in all room. I am suggesting you please never gone to this place. If you are visiting you have to put your shoes outside the premises they dont allowed no one take this inside the hotel. Lastly i will suggest you never gone to very shy place of pushkar.
Nice hotel clean room at affordable prise. Love to stay again.
We got the impression that the place was professional and quality first. And after some time it was discovered that need to chase the room service, fight to enter the place at night because the door is locked, and at the end we paid more for the room initially agreed together at 500 rupees.
I spent few days in this perfect g house. It was recomended from my friends who have been coming from more than ten years.Friendly and kind owners always ready to give you informations with a big smile. The rooms so clean.Always hot water. The terrace where you have the restaurant is such a great location that you can spend hours in the sun meeting people or just stay in peace eating delicious home madefood.Coffee is so good and i am italian so you can trust me.Everything i needed was arranged.THANKS TO ALL OF YOU who work so well to make your guests so happy.I really felt in PARADISE.Renata
We had a simple room on the second floor, semideluxe for 400 Rp/night. It was clean, bed and bathroom definitely acceptable. The room faced the street so it turned out to be pretty noisy. Id recommend to try getting a room facing the other way. The rooftop is really nice and you can order food there as well. We only had breakfast there once, which was good and reasonable priced. Stayed for 2 nights in total. The staff was pretty laid back but helpful whenever we needed something.
Hotel is not bad. Friendly staff. But always problem with water...
Good hotel bt rooms are small and staff response in slow
Reasonably good in all respects.
Its beautiful home stay place comfortable with excellent view of the sun sat and sarounded mountain and also best view of the camel fair pushkar is the best place to stay couple of days
The best hotel
Its was pathetic... Service was extremely poor...
This is not a hotel. It is a house, my experience is absolutely useless and I will tell you not to come here right here.
Worst place, far off, restaurant not working.Despite clearly stating about my arrival at 6 am a month in advance, and two times confirmation about my arrival time of 6 am and my booking of room for Rs 300, there was no room available when i reached this hotel. Despite booking one month in advance, i was asked to wait in waiting area or take a higher priced room for rs 500.I was forced to take their higher priced room for rs 500, which had broken plug points and dirty linen.Another surprise came when they informed that their roof top restaurant is closed despite cofirming about food availability at their hotel before arriving. Then i had to run down from third floor to reception to get the gyeser working and to ask for drinking water as there is no intercom or call bell.As their restaurant was not working, i asked them to warm the home food that i had with me....the owner told me that there would be extra charges to warm the food. So...at every step these marwaries want to fleece money from you.The owner is a rascal and typical mawali who has no shame in telling lies at every step. You can read more about his lies in many reviews. The location of this hotel is also not so great and far away from main centre in a dirty congested area. It is in narrow street away from main area with no restaurants, no shops, nothing near by. You will not even get a rickshaw here. Walking to places from this hotel is a pain. The attached balcony that they proudly claim in their advertisement is just one foot service gallery where you can barely stand and on which dirty drain water spills out from toilets and bathrooms. My strong suggestion is to keep away from this hotel and do not deal or believe the owners. They are uneducated goons who will cheat you at every step. They only want money. The owners of moonlight hotel are cheating the government by not issuing proper bills. They just either dont give bill or give amount written on a piece of paper. They dont allow footwear inside hotel and you have to leave these outside all day in a heap. There are plenty of cheap hotels ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 500 with much better rooms, better facilities, with availability of food and drinking water, working switches and in better location with good views and near to bus stand, lake and main market. These good ones are khaniya hotel, hotel white house, hotel gahlot, hotel sunset. Bargain and you can get very good prices here with good aminities, working restaurant and proper room service.Avoid moonlight hotel....you will regret if you do not listen to this advice. They prefer foreigners over indians because foreigners dont complain after being cheated while indians will show them their place where they belong. What to expect from these cheaters who run this hotel on fake promises. They are well known money minded cheaters as is also evident from other reviews.Dont waste your time and money here. You will end up walking in the hot summer sun to reach main area as no transport available here, no food and no filtered water.
I was there almost two weeks (13 days) we got a clean room and after 4 days we asked to come clean the room the answer was when the power comes back well come clean, they were cleaned only after 4 days and 4 or 5 times after we asked again. This is the third time I visit Pushkar, I have a very respected local friends when they came to visit me in my place they stopped at the entrance because the owner does not allow Indians to enter.Every evening after 9 pm They close the Gast Haus doors and to enter after 9 pm in the evening you have to knock hard that an old man is sleeping on the floor would wake up and open the door. Also We chose this guest house because a local friend works there. We agreed that we would pay 500 rupees a night. When we got the bill after 13 nights the owner to us in the amount of 600 rupees. When asked why he said, youll have no problem at 500 rupees but it fell salary of your friend.Even the location of the Gast Haus is very far from the center.***Obviously not recommended***

We dont live in this hotel, we will definitely have a stable day. When we registered the hotel, I didn’t know that the waiter had an annoying face and said to me, Hey, come a small Chinese aunt.Although I can understand what they say, I cant stand their bad speeches and attitudes. We booked the room in advance, which was originally 200 rupees. But they said, In order to promote the exchanges between China and China, you have to pay 400 rupees to me. Otherwise, you will go out soon. I said, Are you not kidding?Indians are really shameless. . .I believe that the boss does not represent all the Indian people, but because of his actions I have to be disappointed with this country. They scorned our descendants and my motherland. Although the relationship between China and India is not so good, I will not endure the attitude of the boss.My mood is really unpleasant.Dont live in such a bad hotel! !
The staff very friendly. It has a restaurant on the terrace that offers delicious food and great views over the city. The scenery is beautiful. They offer tours and different services like Camel ride. The single room is very uncomfortable. They do not offer you sheets, the bathroom is shared and light comes in everywhere. I recommend not choosing the economic room.
Excellent hotel. The owners are really very friendly. The hotel is always impeccable and breathes good vibes. It has a good location and a nice view as well as a rich restaurant service! I would return without a doubt
I really like it.The interior was unique and the boss was very kind! Overall, it is clean~ There is a small table in the room, so it was convenient.Best recommended!
Can someone stop with his gril friend
The hotel is really clean, well decorated, but dark. The rooms are no longer as good as the reception and staircase. Tiny and extremely uncomfortable sink, with sockets in general trouble. Shoes must be removed at the entrance to the hotel.
Super home, manager very friendly and ready to render services. Listening to the needs and the food is very good.
The hotel very nice and well located
The worst hotel I have ever stayedI have been in India for many years, but I have never stayed at a hotel so bad.I was asked to save water by taking a shower for a few minutes, and I was told that I checked out a few clothes where I washed my clothes by hand. It was very unpleasant.I also took off my shoes and entered the hotel, but the shoes that were just out of the day before were scattered when I got up the next morning. The owners attitude is very arrogant and doubtful about common sense, though it is overseas. We strongly recommend that you not stay if you do not want to feel unpleasant.
Very calm. Very good food, terrace, breakfasts and very good treatment. They get you tickets tuc tuc etc and tastefully decorated. For its economic price very good advice or take aviation on the ground floor. The streets in general are not. As in the european peninsulaAnd they can smell so they are cheaper and a lot of hot water
Very nice hotel and very friendly staff. Cozy roof and perfect for dinner (great food) or for a drink (try the Special Lassi)
Pushkar - India **If you are passing through Pushkar, I strongly recommend the Moon hotel, the single room with shared bathroom is really not chee and in addition you are in a great location. The manager is a cream:1- He cooks really well2- He is very caring and gives you lots of tipsThe places are clean and the roof top allows you to contemplate the kites ...I recommend it 100%
The best hotel in puskhar !!! Anything you need, ask Joshi or Raju ... they are incredibly kind
Nice people and nice place
Good vibes, they made me price
Too expensive and way too loud during the festival in November!
Very good Hotel Munich
