Staying here was magical. Hotel Poonam literally felt like a home. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the food was amazing (and made to order - so I could safely eat even with my gluten and dairy allergies) and our room was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere at Poonam is very relaxed and welcoming, and we ended up staying for much longer than we had planned - as had many of the other people staying at Poonam.Thank you to the whole staff at Hotel Poonam for making my partner and my time in Pushkar incredible - we will definitely be back!

Hotel Poonam was a great place to stay! The manager and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, lots of local knowledge and the food from the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. The location is very close to the lake and it’s easy to explore the city by foot from here.

My fiancé and I loved staying at Hotel Poonam. The manager BC is very helpful and kind. The restaurant on the roof has a great, chill vibe and the food is yummy. It’s a good place to meet other travelers. I recommend the Tibetan soup with homemade fresh noodles. The room was spacious and clean with shelving and tables for our things. The location is good, just a couple minutes walk from the lake and central area with shops and restaurants.

This place is wonderful!! All the staff are extremely friendly and courteous and the rooms are lovely! And the food in the rooftop resturant is delicious, try any of the dahls and kaju curry, you wont be dissappointed!

The place is well kept and run and the staff is vey friendly. The location is very good, far from the touristic area of the bazar, though 5 minutes on foot to the lake. The sunny terrace is a bonus in winter, since you can relax and eat GORGEOUS food at honest price, served by the roof top restaurant. The chef prepares lovely curries with extra fresh ingredients bought by the women in the market downstairs and can cut down on spicy/hot if you like. Internet is poor, but the silent and peaceful atmosphere compensates.

Youve looked at the rest, now stay at the best. Book here with B.C. and his team and you are family. The rooms are spacious for a budget hotel, with large clean en-suite bathrooms. The stairs to the upper floors arent steep like some places. The rooftop cafe has wonderful views of one of the mountain top temples and Mohindra the excellent chef will cook according to your taste. Indian, thai, momos, Chinese, Italian, salads, all are available, cooked fresh and delicious. The guys will look after you like family and that is what makes Hotel Poonam stand out amongst the many budget hotels in Pushkar. It really is very special. They also have a new wifi router and it works well even up on the rooftop cafe, which I must say is the most chilled and beautiful space to spend time. I will certainly return to Hotel Poonam next time I come to Pushkar.

Very good choice, the owner, Manu, found us at the bus station, offered us a cheap room and paid us the ricshaw up there. The place is clean, has free wi-fi (a bit slow), hot water, is in a quiet place, near the lake (about five minutes walk), has a cozy terrace for lunch, breakfast or dinner at the right prices . The very friendly owner, helps you in whatever you need without being at all heavy.

The unforgettable experience, the very attentive staff and cuts, the excellent quality rooms, hot water and everything quite clean.

Cheap the best spectacular views of the fort most at night near the clock tower with its market bjena attention and to take into account the food
