Each room of the Hotel is exactly facing Sea as per the name, calm compose supportive staffs, a little less crowd this side compared to other location. If looking for a wonderful experience do visit, they have Hotel Cab for your sight touring and can observe rate is OK. Food is also ok for daily purpose. They allowed early check in which I admired(subject to availability of the room need to ask in advance)... Overall Nice family trip experience😀

Location is excellent. Vip rooms has the best views and balcony. Other rooms are also good, they have the window view of the sea.We stayed in room C8(vip) and c7(normal room)The staff is friendly and good. The manager is also good. All the services boys are well behaved.One negative feature is you are charged separately for the swimming pool at Rs 100 per hour per person. This is very absurd. I have never faced such a issue that a hotel charges u separately for swimming pool.The owner tries to get u pay some more. For instance during our stay we ordered food in the room, we wr charged a nrml charge. Suddenly from the 2nd day we wr told we have to pay 10% addtional service chrge if we ordered food in the room. This was ordered by the owner. This was not acceptable, especially when they dont allow outside bought food in the room.Otherwise the food taste and quality was good.

I booked a double bed ac room for 3 days.a beach side hotel with moderate facilityhotel management should work hard on cleanliness.the time I checked in , found smelly washroom, after repetative follow-ups, they cleaned it, till then somehow managed with dettol I was carried. bedsheets should change each day but that too happened after multiple follow-ups.gyser not working throughout 3 days of my stay, staff insisted me to give bucket to get warm water, which was quite disappointing.and did not provide bath towel for first 2 daysdoormat in room like 10 years oldbedsheets given with stains , when I asked, they given excuse like stain will not goall bedsheets given have stainsto be noted , since a 3 year old kid travelling with me, I called and requested hotel staff to maintain cleanliness in this covid situation , days before my stay.I paid ...for 3 days of my stay , inshort .../dayatleast I should expect basic facility like cleanliness, and responsive staffonly good thing about hotel is beach view from room and some average foodin briefcleanliness - 0 out of 5 staff response - 2 out of 5 food - 3 out of 5location - 4 out of 5

I have been a regular guest at Hotel Puri Beach Resort for many years now. I have some memorable experience at this hotel. I stayed at the hotel after sometime. The most noticeable improvement has been service, which was a bit of an issue earlier. Amenities and food is pretty good as usual. The VIP suites are the best place to stay in the property as usual as it gives you a 180° view of the sea. Overall very nice experience. Friendly behavior of the staff.

Positive1) Service Quality- Staff was very helpful & would get the things done which ever type of help was asked.2) Location-In front of beach so no need to walk long to see the sea, it was visible from hotel room itself.Area of Improvement1) Service Quality- Need to provide toiletries more professionally. Against one room having 3 adults Hotel provided 2 quantity of rupees 5 Medimix soap & 2 INR 5 rupee sachet of shampoo which felt too less for 3 adults. That too for first day only & not for second day.2) Amenities- Must check all functionality of the room. One of the room had no warm water to bath, so hotel staff had to provide warm water in bucket.3) Food & Drinks: Hotel has nothing immediately available if you wish to go in their restaurant. They start preparing once you order. So if you want something, better tell them 30 minutes at least in advance.4) Path to Basement Restaurant needs to be more proper as many wires were hanging on wall leaving people specially kids vulnerable to them.5) Tour Packages- Hotel provides tour packages, but it will be better if they provide ideal time a tourist to stay at any tourist place is also mentioned so people can judge if they have to visit 5 places in a package then how much time they should spend at one location plus travelling time.

Nice hotel to stay in. Room was great, i booked a suite one. Hotel has its Restruant and they serve testy foods too. Price is very pocket friendly. You can order too to your room as they provide a mini fridge in room. The hotel keeps only beer if you are looking something except beer then u habe to bring from outside. Staffs are friendly too.

Had a wonderful stay in VIP suite, from 24 Nov till 29 Nov....with my family members...Awesome location, awesome food... no doubt food is very yummy and the price is so reasonable... Our room was quite spacious and the best part was the balcony...amazing sea view...Room service was okay...loved the place.. will come soon again.. And special thanks to Mr swapna Mishra ji, Praskash and Pradeep ( Radhe) were very helpful to us throughout our stay.We enjoyed a lot.

Worst stay, I had ever stayed. Horrible stay experience. Even my bedroom is much better than their VIP Rooms. Guys if you are really looking for any resort stay, this isnt place. Actually this isnt a resort. Simply this a lodge and they customers trapped with fancy names.... I will share some pics from which anyone can decide whether to pay Rs.../night or not. Good hotel at good price... Side Sea view rooms was 2100 and interior was 1800. They even have a lawn. The restaurant was a bit pricey compared to others and the tea was fantastic.

Stay was good.. although its 3star hotel bathrooms were were bit old fashioned. every room had a sea view, breakfast was good and had a wide variety. staff was very friendly.they allowed us to checkout bit later they gave us 45 min extra time for checkout.

Everything comes with pros n consNow to start off on a positive note , this hotel is at a very pleasant and accessible location , right next to the light house and away from all the chaos . Swargadwar is at a 10-15 minutes walking distance.The food served (mentioning the quality and the quantity only) was very good.The staff members , although provided a delayed service , were very polite and friendly.Now coming to the negative aspects of it , the view (a common bathroom and a lil sneak peak of the beach ) was something I didnt quite enjoy for the price we paid for the stay , to be honest.The maintenance and cleanliness needs to be improved asap because the last thing youd want is a pile of dusty spider webs falling from the wall lamp , right on ur face while you lay down to sleep . The rooms need to be checked well before letting the guests stay in it (the window lock was broken , but the manager was kind enough to work on it immediately ) and the room service provided should be enhanced to some extent.Overall enjoyed the stay , but could be more enjoyable had the above mentioned cons were rectified before hand .Would definitely recommend this if the maintenance , cleanliness and the response to the room service gets improved !Happy New Year and Good luck !

Puri Beach Resort is an average hotel on New Marine Drive, Puri. The staffs are very courteous, well behaved and helpful. The food is particularly very good. But the maintenance of the rooms is not satisfactory. The locks are not working properly. There is no exhaust fan in the toilets.There was toilet water leakage into one of the rooms, although they changed the room, but the new room was not of same standard. There were one or two small cockroaches in the room also. The dining hall was infested with houseflies and was stinky. However they served food in our rooms at no extra charge. Overall maintenance in not good and the rooms are overpriced particularly in this off season. The swimming pool was nice and well maintained. Swimming was additionally chargeable although. We booked a double bed AC room for 3 adults, although they charged extra for the 3rd person there was no space for the extra mattress, the rooms are extremely small. However the rooms were sea facing.

Very polite and they have bio matric for everyone so things are discipline...If you goes in your transportation then the security guard will clean your vehicle.... Extremely shabby. Friendly staff but not really kept well. To be honest its dirty and in tathers. The worst part was the loud and noisy corridors even past midnight, almost making it impossible to sleep.

Hotel sonar Bangla, Puri is a good and peaceful place to stay, most of the rooms are sea facing and many have side views as well. The restaurant and its staff are also very good and courteous as well helpful with room service . The complementary breakfast is amazing and lots of food items are served in breakfast. Worst experience.... very poor service... when you enter they will talk to u regarding tour booking and maharaj booking for temple.. but if u refuse they pretend that they did not understand hindi language properly .. i was travelling with kids and family.. and i was badly injured in beach... i asked reception to arrange bandage from nearby medical store i waited 4 hours and called several times no one replied and they were not having basic first aid kit at their hotel... location is far away from market and golden beach.. if u are with family and kids. never choose this hotel.. manager called me 2 times before i checked in... but after check in he did not recieve my call... water supply is very poor in bathroom... their tea cups and plates were very dirty.. whenever u ask for anything at restaurant they will say one word sorry and provide u substitute... u have to wait approx 1 hour for tea... very poor service got this time.....this kind of behaviour.unexpected from any human being... strictly no to puri beach resort

Excellent hotel. Away from the maddening crowd of Swargadwar. The location is calm but not deserted. All basic amenities are readily available. All rooms are sea facing. There is a very well maintained park just behind the hotel which is very good for children. Hotel service is prompt. The bathrooms can be a little bigger.

Only location is excellent. You can feel the beach 24 hours sitting in the room. I stayed in a VIP suit but the bathroom is so so, no place inside even to have a soap case beside the basin. No ventilation in the bathroom. Food needs to be ordered one hour before to get on right time. Issues were with AC and with TV!! Do not expect the food to be served in the restaurant.But food is good quality and reasonable price. Staffs are very young and mostly students but supportive.

Once upon a time, this was a very good hotel on the beach, however, post Fani, this just carrying out operations. Frequent power cut with no back up, no lift, water leakage even in super deluxe room during rain and so on,The hotel is under renovation, hopefully by Diwali, all will b ok again. But for the time being, enjoy very nice view and mouth watering food only. 2 and half star.

The hotel is good just facing the beach. You can see the waves from your room. We have taken standard room for which we got 3 rooms in the ground floor. The rooms are OK, neat and clean. The hospitality was good. We had dinner in the same hotel and the food was very good. It was fresh and tasty. Over all I would recommend this hotel for budget conscious family.

Good location not very close to swargodar,even sceneic beauty of beach is very calm and quite.Those who prefers to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach without heavy gathering, it is ideal for them.Clear and nice place and the Hotel is very nicely maintained except toilet.No balcony is available in most of the rooms.Staffs are well behaved and cordial.Only restaurant service and food quality requires much more improvement.

The location of the hotel is very good. Peaceful beach nearby to sit in evening and morning. Beach view from room. Staff seating at the reception is polite and cooperative. Price is high than it should be. The persons dealing with travel will try to make you fool and make money. They tried to make money from me by telling the price of chilka boat ride 3500. The driver of our cab also told us that boat cannot be booked on sharing basis. But thankfully i was able to book boar from OTDC yatri niwas @250/person.

I gave 3 stars to the hotel for location. Its actually 2 stars for location which is pretty far off from the main marketplace (read: Swargadwar area), and one extra star for the nearness to the sea beach. The hotel claims to have all of its rooms facing the sea, and I am in no position to doubt that since I was provided with one facing the sea. There is no problem with the rest of the ratings. It does indeed provide value for money. Food of the restaurant is good too. The photos provided are of the sea from the room, which proves that the room indeed was sea-facing.

Including breakfast booking means the amount is restricted to Rs. 250/- per day per room. If it was so we had not included the amount of breakfast in the booking amount and pay the actual amount of breakfast to the hotel directly if we choose to take breakfast at the hotel or we had an option to take elsewhere. Till date I never experienced such type of cheating. To my knowledge including breakfast or meals means hotel would serve the breakfast or meal without taking any additional amount if the same is included in the booking. This hotel charged from me price for every item which I had taken in breakfast and deduct Rs. 250/- from the total billing amount.

Very good hotel with majority sea view rooms in a little lonely atmosphere. The hotel building shape and the rooms designed such a way so that all rooms became sea view. Completely wasted my money! This hotel is really overpriced! other than Sea view, every other things are not up to the mark, at least considering the tariff of the rooms. AC not working in room no B7, broken sofa in reception, poor toilet door conditions in B6 and B7. No hot water in Room no B4.However, Food is good and behaviour of Staff is good! Worst hotel service I have stayed. Though location and rooms are good but hotel is managed by highly unprofessional persons. Managed by low paid staves, who do not know any thing about hotel management. The worst part is their kitchen. I recently booked during Durga Puja for three days and paid for a three star hotel. But the hotel dont deserve even for single star. My breakfast and dinner was included in the package. Each time I went for bf or dinner, the head cook warn me of crossing my daily limit of food order. There is no buffet service for food. Calm and quite atmosphere. A relief from chaos. Food quality in their Resturant is good and pocket friendly. Behaviour of workers is appreciable. Room size is sufficient. A chargeable swimming pool.Drawbacks: Washroom is a nightmare. Not all rooms are sea facing. NO BALCONY. There is no facility for keeping your clothes hanging either in the room or in the washroom.Experience: Visited recently. At 4 o clock morning, there was no water in the tap. After calling many times in reception,they provided water in bucket from swimming pool for us.😫

This is a good hotel and very good location however below things need severe improvement 1. condition of the room , they are old and upkeep is needed. I stayed in VIP room2. food taste and quality 3. Solo female travellers should avoid as I saw a girl dancing in skimpy clothes for some men in one of their halls and it was shocking. its a family hotel and they should maintain the standards. I would not stay in their hotel again as I travel either with females and alone and the last experience of girl dancing ruined it for me.

This was my 2nd stay at Puri Beach Resort . I had been there first in 2017. While the resort is severely affected because of The Cyclone Fani ,which most hotels along the New Marine Drive Road are, the hotel is currently running 18 rooms which are pretty good for a short trip of 3-4 days. The rooms presently in use i.e AC double bed are a little bit congested and lacking a little in renovation,may be thats an after effect of the cyclone. The hotel has an excellent restaurant ,and the Pabda and Mutton kasha are culinary delights that any foodie will enjoy. The location is excellent for people wanting to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Swargadwar,but transport costs too and. fro from the hotel will definitely be a little higher due to its distant location from the temple and other primary attractions of Puri.Nevertheless,the hotel offers a great view of the ocean and one can enjoy the breathtaking view and listen to the grumbling of the ocean either from the room or the lush green lawn with a swing ,infront of the hotel.A word of caution,dont book cars for Your trips from Puri to Bhubaneswar and Chilka. The cars are not maintained and The AC isnt good enough given the heat of Puri. The charge is also higher compared to some of the local tour operators ,offering similar tour packages.

Wifi not available at room you have to go to corridor. Car service is good nog their own. Sea Beach is very near from the hotel. View also good from hotel room.

Overall nice experience, in front of see beach location is awesome. Swargadwar is in walking distance, Hotel staff are supportive but some time language problem. specialy thankful for Mr Bashu , he can arrange our tour for chilka and bhubeneswar only few small things that should be looked management staff , hotel canteen service is very slow and take so much time to serve you and food is also not impressed us as expected but so many other options available in near by. We are avail vip suites but except one small shop nothing is available which are most commonly seen in other hotels like shampoo, shower gel, body lotion etc.

But they should mention b4 that, extra charges for swimming pool and no gym in the hotel in Internet ... hotel is 1 km far from swargadwar but located on road side which is far from the noise . mandir 2.5km from hotel. beach is just opposite side off the hotel. station 2.5----3km from hotel....

Located in very nice place.....sea is just in front of hotel....come out from hotel just cross the road n u will be at sea beach....sea can be seen from the window of hotel.. sound of waves n nice sea wind can be heard n feel while sleeping at room....over all nice experince in this hotel... cleanliness is well maintained.

Great experience to stay in holiday resort...Each & every staff of this hotel are very well behaved .Fantastic service. Well maintained room & resort Excellent view of sea beach ..Superb quality of food..Overall its a great time to spend in holiday resort...We are highly satisfied..

Firstly tons of thanks to d every single staffs (housekeeping staff were too attentive) & receptionist guys were too very attentive & cooperative . Well understand after cyclone Foni Puri went into disasters as roadside sea view room where I stay balcony door wasnt closed properly but ignoring that rest everything was great happy stay with my kids & family.
