Ive visited puri with my friend on 28feb and decided to stay at Gadadhar resort ,after reading some reviews, for 2days ,price was good and best value for money...staffs are awesome but there are some new bengali guys have joined as room service, they are not that much welcoming ,personally, i didnt like their personalities, still there behaviors were not bad at all....location is good ,calm and relaxed environment..overall an excellent hotel at this price with very very good staffs..hats off to themanagement of this hotel..😠As it says,its a very couple 💑 friendly hotel and they are very welcoming for both ...Staffs are so awesome that they never made us feel uncomfortable a little bit...so..overall..Amazing experience with this hotel for us 🥰

It was overall a pleasant stay at the hotel. Staff members were very approachable and the location of the hotel is also quite good as it near to the sea beach. Would also like to thank the hotel crew members for making my stay comfortable & pleasant.

This hotel is situated 4 km from puri station. Though the hotel is not a resort but the rooms are well spacious, bathrooms are well cleaned, bathroom has shaver point too. Staffs are very helpful and always ready to listen to you. The manager, Amar babu, is a gentleman. Sea beach is only 50 mtr. My stay was very pleasant.

Room was good compare to the charge but disappointed the lift which was not working. Room service boys are very swift & helpful. Required few more attention on cleanliness of room with good quality bed / pillow covers.

Room was clean and decorated and spacious. Staffs were very cordial. Nice location. Amenities are good.

It was a great stay in Gadadhar Resort. From hotel manager to staffs all are very well behaved and cooperative. Restaurant food was nice, price reasonable. From the front rooms sea view available. Each room consist of spacious balcony. All over worth staying here.

Very very good location. Very near to beach. You can see sea from hotel balcony. Little far (10 to 12 mnts by walk) from main market and swargdwar. But enough market available near the hotel. It is less crowded. Must visit Light house beside children park in afternoon.Last but not the least, the food quality is also good. Actually it is improved. I saw some early comments about very poor quality of food. But, it is completely changed. And their behavior is sooo polite and friendly.... Manager is also very good. He is a bengali person and he is from Chandanngar, Hooghly..... You must visit.

First thing first, this is NOT a resort at all. What it is then? It is a very good budget hotel to stay in Puri. The hotel is in Balia Panda area and is just 5 minutes from the sea beach. In fact the sea is visible but only from the front facing rooms at all the floors. It takes about 40 minutes from the Puri railway station by auto-rickshaws and the charge is about Rs. 150. Jagannath Temple is 20 minutes from the hotel by rickshaw. They charge anything from Rs. 50 to 70 for that. Swargadwar beach is 10 mins from the hotel and will cost you Rs. 50 on an auto-rickshaw or e-rickshaw. Check out time 7 am and checkin is 8 am. The hotel is neat and clean. They regularly cleaned the rooms and bathrooms, changed the bedsheets and pillow cover. Amenities in the room (we book non-AC deluxe rooms) includes wardrobes, bedside tables with drawer, geyser for hot water, a single chair, LCD television and mosquito repellent. There is also a restaurant available at the hotel but the service is very slow. It is better to place your order in advance. However the quality of the food served is good and tasty. They also provide room service but has a 10% service charge. Behaviour of staff was nice but there are a lot of scope of improvement. Languages they can understand and speak are Hindi, Bengali, Oriya and English. The beach in front of the hotel is nice. It is not crowded. In fact, I liked it better than Swargadwar beach. There is a separate bathroom available in the hotel where you need to clean yourself with freshwater if you take a bath in the sea. Overall experience was nice and would recommend this hotel. I would have given 5 stars if the service of the restaurant was upto the mark.

Very good hotel near Sea Beach, staffs are very good, front office service also good। Food is not good enough, but there is a restaurant in front of just opposite of hotel। Food over there is too good and rate is also reasonable। Room in hotel are clean and have a view of sea either in front or side। They provide you toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, herbal shampoo so if you forgot take one of this you dont have to worry for that । You can stay here without any problem। Room rate is variable depends on season but the lowest rate is 700/- ground floor। Sea is just less than one minute walking distance।

Puri beach is just 2 min walk from hotel .You can also enjoy beach view by just sitting in the balcony .Can hire autos from puri railway station and it takes just 10 minutes to reach.Sunrise and sunset view can also be observed.Rooms are spacious , airy with abundant sunlight .Dinning hall is clean ,food is delicious, and staff behaviour is upto the mark..

This hotel is very close to sea beach, exactly 30mtr away. In a sense it is quite free from bustle of Marine drive. So its a value for money to those who seek tranquility and peace. Hotel is clean and tidy.However in-room service quality is poor... in-house restaurant is also not so good.

Its a neat and clean as well as well maintained property. Sea beach can be viewed easily from the balcony. The manager and staff are very helpful and well behaved. My stay here with my family was very peaceful. The room service was good . Its location is excellent. The hotel has restaurant also , the food quality was excellent , but one negative point was during my stay here during Durga puja the restaurant was little under staff so getting food was delaying....on a whole you will love to stay here.

The hotel manager has shown indifferent attitude towards various issues.I have booked 2 rooms: one DELUX non ac and the other Royal AC.While booking rooms, it can be safely assume  that Royal AC room should have been with balcony.But in reality while boarding,we have been allotted Royal AC room without balcony.However, there are several Royal AC rooms are there equipped with balcony.In spite of several request, we have not been alloted Royal AC room with balcony.At the same time, the power downtime was more than expected because the existing DG was not operative and a small temporary DG ( placed outside the hotel) has been used.Moreover the problem was severe during mid night ( in case of power off situation) when the responsible person to operate DG showed reluctance to operate it when asked for leaving us stay awake for at least 30 min. in warm internal environment especially in DELUX non ac room along with mosquito bites.This hotel is no way comes in category to be called as RESORT.I am writing this review not in the intention to get feedback from hotel authority because they will as usual show their indifferent attitude towards my complaints.My intention is to aware them who would like to book this hotel in their future trip to Puri.

Good location, slightly away from golden beach which is main beach at that location. But the beach just in front of it is also quite good. You will in particular enjoy the place if you dont like overcrowded beaches. Rooms are quite ok and decently priced, Fooding could have been better. There were many food items in its menu that were actually not available if ordered. Overall a good deal in budget and you wont be disappointed.

Very bad experience. Think before stay

Location is nice. staff and kitchen boys behaviour is very good. food are very nice specially for bengalis. Distance of sea beach from hotel approximately 50m. crowd free area. Distance from station 4.3 km and from Jagannath temple 2km. Overall good.

The food is good 👠But 109 room that I stay is not a deluxe non AC room its the only non AC room , the room at that time when I was stay always I am not 10 % statisfactory due to maximum number of mosquito r always r taking the blood form my familys, we r tried and arrived at 8 or 9 pm at night and taking the dinner at slept, when we r weak up at other day morning we r see that maximum no of mosquito r seating on the wall of the room with blood and we r fighting with them for around 15 minutes , The TV signal always not present for three days , the bath room washbasin is slow clearing the water, the shower is not good, mosquito photo is upload

This is not a resort fist of all. Yes location wise i would still give 2 star as its near by sea beach but there was lack of professionalism in terms of service. Room cleaning services was not regular, intercom facilities was not there,generator was not working, bathroom tap was not working... Still they charge u rs 2200 per day for non ac room... Food is not bad

This hotel is one of the best in Puri in this budget. It is very close to the sea beach. Only two minutes of straight walk and you will be soaking your feet in sea water. The beach market of Swargadwar is little far as this hotel is close to the Lighthouse. Itll take almost 7-10 minutes walk to reach there. So conveyance expenditure will escalate. This place is ideal if you want to spend time away from the hustle and chaos of Swargadwar. Guests are welcomed with a welcome kit which contains two toothbrushes, one tiny toothpaste, a small soap, a 20ml vial of herbal shampoo and a comb. The rooms are well furnished, spacious, clean and tidy. Each room has a wardrobe. The bathrooms are clean. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are cleaned everyday. Even if you are not in your room in the morning (for sightseeing or any other purpose) and return late in the evening, they clean your room on request. The staff are courteous and very cooperative. There are Eureka Forbes aquaguards installed in every floor. So you need not worry about water. Lift facility is also there. The lift can carry only 4 persons at a time though. The resturant serves good food at a reasonable price. They have a wide variety of food items. Only catch is you need to wait at least 15-20 minutes after you order your food. They offer room service too. If you want to offer puja at Lord Jagannath Temple, they can provide a panda as well and the panda, unlike most of them, does provide a good service. I was happy to stay there and hope you will be too.

The staff was great and very helpful. But the rooms require immense cleaning and maintenance. Food was really bad and overpriced and tea was smelling of bad milk. the comforters had a damp smell and there was mold everywhere in the bathroom, the wash basin sink seemed to be blocked.the staff was very accommodating of the food requests and was helpful.

Location is very good at this price. beach is just about 200 meter. room condition is very good.clean,nice , good behaviour from the staffs.yes. truly couple friendly. no problem at all.

Good Hotel stay was comfortable but service not upto the mark. staff was very cooperative, humble. Food was just ok, no roti available for lunch was irritating. Proximity to beach was the only bliss.

Hotel room is clean and spacious. Hotel is little bit fur from market but not that much.We can see sea from hotel balcony.There were some confusion created regarding breakfast but Goibibo management resolve the problem quick. All over its a good stay.

Its a new establishment as per the manager, nearly 1 year old. The halls smell of floor cleaner, which made me feel comfortable, they keep things clean! The Delux AC room was small but had enough space to keep luggage and move around. The AC was effective, TV / DTH functional. The bathroom was tiled and had geyser as well. The food was a little expensive but was tasty. The location is also good, just a lane behind the marine drive. Enjoyed the stay there. Will recommend.

Untidy rooms cockroaches were littering on the floor. Dirts coming from the fan. Sending  photos as an evidence. Rooms were smelling very bad.The experience was not at all good. Ambience of rooms was bad, Untidy Corridors.

This is one of the best hotels in Puri in this budget. It is very close to the sea beach. Only 2 minutes of straight walk and the seawaves will lash at your feet. However it is quite far from the main Swargadwar market area and close to the Lighthouse. Youll have to walk 7-8 minutes to reach Swargadwar. The rooms are spacious, clean, tidy and well furnished. The bathrooms are neat and clean as well. Both the rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. Each floor is equipped with aquaguard. 24 hours power service. Lift facility is also available. However, I did not find any free wifi there. The restaurant is also very good and serves delicious food at a very reasonable price. They have room service too. The staff are very courteous, cooperative and always at your service. The hotel also offers the service of their panda in case you want to offer puja at Lord Jagannath Temple.

Very good resort to stay in puri. We booked Royal AC room & it has sea facing balcony. We got the room at a great discount from goibibo. Specially the food was so fantastic with a variety of choice. They were too good in quality & quantity both.

We booked two rooms from 21st Dec 18 to 25th Dec18 from their Head office in Hindmotor. While booking was done, it was confirmed that the hotel had room service available. I was shocked by the ill behavior of Hotel Manager stating that he shall not allow any room service from his restaurant to room. We noticed that the restaurant is managed by someone else and common dishes are also not available. Outside food is not available in room as notified. So, if you are going to stay here...you have to somehow manage by dining outside. Neither the rooms are cleaned daily nor the washrooms. Staying here shall give you a feeling that inspite of paying such exorbitant rates, you are on hands of mercy of the Hotel Manager. Hotel has travel desk who shall charge you higher rates for any cab booking. If you avail any outside vehicle, you shall be engulfed by local hooligans (backed by Hotel Manager and authorities) to pay local GOONDA TAX to them !! In nutshell, staying in this property is a discomfort for your mind , soul and body altogether during your holidays. PLEASE AVOID STAYING IN THIS HOTEL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DEALING WITH THE HOTEL MANAGER . Visited First Week of June with my parents and in laws.It is a mix experience.Pros:Big Royal Ac clean room with Balcony and they are sea facing.Big toilets.Attendants are HumbleLittle far from Swargadwar (2 km).Auto will take 50 RS .The owner is a very nice person.In House restarurant is there.ConsWhen we have went there there is some in house problems between the staffs and they have refused to cook food .Those staffs are lil aged and it is a request to the management to change those staffs otherwise it would create a negative impact among the tourists.Overall it is a pleasant stay!!

Very good behaviour

Excellent looks, polite and helpful staff, sea view rooms truly satisfy the eyes. Food quality homely and tasty. But time taken to serve (room service) is a bit high. There is a restaurant below but we did not go there.

This was a good accommodation as far as price is concerned. However, the room service and in-house restaurant were quite poor.

Smelly room with garbage on entrance side & view from room window. Lots of Mosquitos for which i have complaint to hotel staff. Leakage in Bathroom. Privacy disturbed with lots of noise in passage & seems like someone is always around window or door of room. Rs 50/- is limited budget for complimentary breakfast, else you need to pay. I could have left the hotel within 30 minutes of Check-in if some other option could have been available. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY !!

Located just near the sea beach (perfect location), the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The staffs were very helpful. The hotel owner called us again and again to do check out, before our check out time. I showed him my booking details on Yatra app. He agreed about that and after 30 minutes he called us again. This is very annoying.

Pathetic Resort. Please dont visit this so called resort in Puri.. A lodging place where u have only a room cannot be called as a resort first of all. Behaviour of manager is highly unprofessional. Breakfast for Non bengali people is like hell. Room is average .Not good cause the rates are very high. Room service is pathetic.. Food is below average .If order a cup of tea, you will get that after an hour of placing your order.I would really beg to all Puri visitors not to visit this So called resort. Any arrangments made by any third parties like GoIbibo , Trivago will not be entertained by them..Manager will say go and talk to them about any special facility which is arrangerd by Third parties As they are not responsible for this. Really dont know that why they have tied up with this third parties.If u still book this resort for your Puri visit .This will be on your risk to spoil the whole trip.Specially manager of this so called resort is the pathetic one. He has no idea about the hospitality.He is hiflghly n professional.

The washroom was not clean, the door did not close, stain marks all round the pipes , pan.there were sticky substanse all around the wall and floor. Dark spots and hair was round the basin.
