Infrastructure is very nice. The campus is very big. It has different buildings for students of different streams. It has all the necesaary amenities like well equipped laboratories and classrooms

This college seems to be very old built. Infrastructure seems to be very good. We played cricket match here and it was a very good experience. Sports ground is big but it needs proper rolling and watering. Overall it was a good experience.

Good for agriculture education but severe RAGGING of students by senior is major problem... One may leave to study in this good college due to very much ragging...They take ragging under the title - SPIRIT and form regional groups among students. This promotes the regionalism and separatist tendencies among students in addition to serious ragging.

The Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri is the premier Agricultural University in Maharashtra that renders services to the farmers through Education, Research and Extension Education. In pursuance of the Maharashtra Agricultural University (Krishi Vidyapeeth) Act 1967, initially, the Maharashtra Agricultural University (Krishi Vidyapeeth) was established for the entire Maharashtra State and started functioning in March, 1968 with its office at Mumbai. The office was shifted to College of Agriculture, Pune in 1969. Later on in 1972, four agricultural universities were established in Maharashtra. Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri is one of them established in 1969 for the western Maharashtra having jurisdiction spread over 10 districts viz. Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Dhule, Nashik, Ahmednagar,Pune, Solapur, Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur. The University is named after the great social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.

Pleasant ambience... not a student of the college but visited couple of times​ to meet an acquaintance... Hit movies like Munnabhai MBBS and Duniyadari were shot in the premises of the college... there​ is a statue of Mahatma Phule in front of the main building...
