Ive played on smaller projects at Gray Spark before, and have been impressed enough with their professionalism and affability to entrust them with my own recording project in recent weeks. Gray Spark Audio is filled with people who are passionate about the work that they do, and you can see that in the way they teach too. In this academy, the teachers are very open to, and greatly encourage communicating and resolving doubts at any possible time during the day. They give a lot of heed to the practical side of things, and even let you sit during real-time client sessions to assist and learn about the process about how a studio actually functions, and about how to use all the great equipment, mics, cables etc. that they have as well.I also really enjoy spending my time over here as a student, its a very comfortable and creative environment for me to stretch my arms and work on whatever projects I have as well!

I enrolled for the 1-year certificate course in August 2020 and it has been a journey ever since. With modules such as room acoustics, sound reinforcement, mixing & mastering, music production, film sound, and live sound; you are bound to get the most detailed crash course available.All students, when eligible get a chance to assist in all four studios at Gray Spark Audio where they are exposed to all commercial projects and will also get credited for their work.Mentors are always ready to help when in need and each student gets individual attention as a result of the small batch size.Students are also allowed to use the flagship studio along with the premium assortment of microphones available in their inventory which allows the students to record pristine quality audio as theyre learning.There is a 3-month externship where students with a solid portfolio are sent to work at different studios in Pune which provides valuable working experience.The studio fosters a creative environment where students are encouraged to collaborate and assignments are extremely fun to work on.I have learned so much in just 6-7 months its honestly surreal. If you want to bring a professional touch to your work, Gray Spark is one of the best places you can always approach. They are very friendly, honest and do provide the best quality recording and production facilities one could expect in Pune and that too at a very reasonable price. Even if you dont know any musicians, based on your expectations and budget, they try to provide you the best session players or even music programmers depending on your genre of song. Recorded vocals/acoustic guitars at the studio and had the guys at the studio mix a song for me. Worked with Nitin - he was my engineer throughout. Hes extremely competent and knows how to deliver the sound you want if you have a clear vision. Overall, good experience and the studio itself is a great place to be and work.

Fantastic team to work with and the quality of work delivered is amazing.

Im editing my review because I was unable to respond to the owners reply to my initial review, just for the purpose of putting everything together- Studio B is very noisy.- about cranking up the gain - the voice was recorded with a SM58 because the large diaphragm condenser was a disaster, it was picking-up so much of ambient noise- do u think that a recorded voice level of -40 dBFS is OK- even after close miking the source , a fan rotating sound is induced in the recording- then vehicles sound from the adjacent road; thuds and bangs from the building - all are there- and many more sounds that are not there (furniture being dragged; people screaming outside; opening and closing or the control room door) in the recording is because the recording was stopped for a no. of times and then re-recorded again- if you insist, I can substantiate all the above discussed points- I must add that I was really impressed with the engineer(s), given the scenario, they did whatever they could but incidentally it didnt work out for me- disappointed

My clients love each and every script I record in this studio. Recording is an effortless task here, all thanks to the smart engineers at work who understand your job. Great sound quality. Only downside is that it remains closed on Sundays when I usually have a lot of work 😀 Highly recommended.

Updating my review after reviewing the quality of the recordings.1) The studio rooms are not 100% sound proof, which is the most important thing for a studio. Being on main Baner Road, a loud bus, ambulance or loud motor cycle is heard inside the studio room.2) I went there for sampling of an instrument. I had clearly told the technician that I wanted 32-bit 44.1 kHz samples with dynamic range as high as possible without clipping. To my utter disappointment, he set the gains such that the peak amplitude of the samples is -24 dB with noise floor at -45 dB (the studio is noisy, as mentioned above). This really turned out to be a bad quality recording.

Good compact space. Neet and clean. Recording instruments are also available. Overall best place in pune for recording audio. Most of the artist records here.

Would give 4 and a half stars if possible. Great studio, well designed with a experienced and friendly staff. There is always room for improvement and in this case it would be the mixing and mastering process. It is quite professional, but there are a few songs I wrote that couldve been mixed better as a lot of people complained about the instrumental overpowering my voice or in other cases vice versa. Otherwise great experience and a good recording studio.

Me and my team record our monthly podcast episodes here and I think this is one of the finest recording studios in Pune. The team is very professional and helpful.

Recording at Gray Spark was a great experience. Ronak and Harshad are not only professional and accommodating, but also immensely talented. We had a strong feeling from the beginning that we were in good hands and the final product absolutely reflected that. The warmth and creativity here creates the kind of atmosphere that musicians can only hope to be in when they record. Its not easy to produce a reflection of your very best work, but we were able to do that.

Studios are good and very well equipped. We were assisted by Saurabh who did a fantastic job with our mix. If youre an independent artist looking for a space, this is the place you should go to.
