Very nice, ambience good and food hygienic. The staff is not too cordial but can understand the reason to be shortstaffed. They are yet doing their best
Great service. The chef accidentally prepped a different dish than the one I had ordered. We told this to our Waiter, and he got the dish replaced at no extra cost.Being a vegan, I was very impressed with their 8 page vegan menu. Sushi is great. Vegan gelato is a must-have. Their pumpkin chips are amazing as well.
It’s now almost a year and it reminds ofGreat food and great ambience. Very friendly staff. The best thing about Malaka Spice is their quality of food or service never goes down. I have been to different branches of this chain over the years but all of them have great service, great staff and superb quality food.
To start with, a wonderful place with splendid ambience. The floor above the entrance has a pretty romantic couples space with a non interrupting view of the western Pune.Reception and other staff is courteous and welcoming.Food was finger licking good with as mentioned inspired from and not imitating from Malay, Thai food.Starters - Golden fried wings was extravagantly tasty with its tangy lemongrass Malay flavor.Fire cracker prawns were an equal delight that had an Indian chat remix. Both the starters must try!Mains - Having been to Malaysia I had, to my dismay, missed a few of the must try dishes - kari kapitan and Roti Canai. And I must say Malaka spice made me relive the Malaysian taste in somewhat its own way! The sweet and spicy thick kari kapitan curry surely made my day - again a must try. Malaysian shredded herbal rice was an average but went well along with the kari. But then the obvious downsides -1. All such great experiences wont come cheap, ~3k₹ for 2 (included a glass of Belgian wit, Independence brewing Co. Beer)2. Tummy overflow error!
Visited Malaka Spice, Baner for some weekend brunching scene. Used the PEO card to make the booking. It was super easy to book and avail the amazing offer which was curated for the PEO card holders. Coming to the food.. orderedButter Garlic Prawns - the portion size was amazing, but I missed the kick of garlic in it! Since this dish doesnt have any other spices, the lack of garlic punch made it bland for my taste budsBbq Mutton - I usually dont order mutton in Restaurants but this dish was really nicely done. The mutton was cut into slices. It was well cooked and the bbq flavor came right through!Mad Hats (I think thats the name) this dish particularly was a crowd favorite! The presentation was on point, coming to the flavour, crispy shell on the outside and minced flavorful chicken on the inside made sure this got over in seconds! For main course we ordered Thai curry with rice! It was done well, nothing to rave or complaint about!Over all, we ate like puppies and enjoyed the brunch! Service was excellent!
Worst taste. Only ambition is good.
Great for and great ambience. Very friendly staff.. the best thing about Malaka Spice is their quality of food or service never goes down. I have been to different branches of this chain over the years but all of them have great service, great staff and superb quality food. I believe most organizations should learn from these guys how to ensure that the quality never suffers even after years of being around
Ambience was nice, taste and authenticity we truly Malaysia. Service was good. Portion per serving is less and ensure you order food giving 20 min to come. Enjoyed! A bit overpriced though, good to go for special occasion.
Went here with a group and felt we were accommodated very well. Menu is varied and group-friendly. The food was very good in general and a couple dishes were really quite excellent. Would recommend this place to others and would also return!
Had a friend visiting us and am glad we preferred Malaka Spice for Dinner..Courteous staff, quick service and tasty food , enough to give one a good dining experience...They have extensive menu to select and every dish tasted good..The place is a bit dark, and a bit pricey...Waiting to visit again...
This was a night to remember! The service and food here was too good. I was with a bunch of office friends. Decided to get some Thai so we narrowed it down to Malaka spice. And what an amazing Decision. This is now on my favorites list.
Top Restaurant in Baner. Has Valet Parking Services, food is delicious. Art theme lights up the ambience and they play good music too. Extra star for delicious Pachak served after the meal. :-)
Went here for a girls night out. What a great vibe. And the food, amazing. The staff is very discreet. Overall a really amazing night. Gonna be back. Keep it up guys.
Went here with the family for a nice lunch. We were greeted by smiling and pleasant hostesses and we were promptly seated. The staff gave good suggestions and we enjoyed the food. One of our mocktaiks was too sweet, but immediately replaced when we informed the waiter. Will come back with office colleagues next time.
The food here is great... You can feel it in the ingredients. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Im a fan of the ambience. Keep up the good work.
Great food and great ambience. I think they should keep more variety in desserts. But the staff was very polite and were always smiling. They guide you with the food and they have good menu knowledge.
Cant go wrong with this place. I never get tired of their food and the cheerful ambience . I usually go to the Koregaon Park restaurant but have been to the Baner place twice now and really like it. Theres something good for everyone, even hardcore vegetarians
This place is closed..or shifted from this location
Just super! Have a super evening here. The waiter suggested amazing appetisers and cocktails. They really know the menu very well. I really recommend you guys give it a go at least once.
Food was decent Ambience was very very ordinary. Bathroom was overflowing. This is the Baner Malaka Spice. Try to go to the one at koregaon park outlet.
Nice place to have Chinese food, also they have variety of Pan-Asian dishes. Ambiance was nice, service was good and food quality was excellent.
My all time favourite!! Top hat is must try!! Apart from that pumpkin fritters, tom kha soup, thai green curry is also recommended!!
Malaka Spice was a good restaurant but for a vegetarian, there are definitely better aswin vegetarian restaurants out there.I liked the bao the most. The cocktails were good and the service was fast. The desserts are okay, not the best. The non vegetarians at the restaurant really enjoyed their food but the vegetarian equivalents of every dish can definitely be improved.
It was super fun experience here with friends. Good food good ambience good service, what else can one ask for. Planning a visit soon. Cheers guys.
Yummy food, excellent service and a very friendly host team who looked after us. Thank you for a wonderful time :)
We ordered the following today. It was a momentous occasion at our home. So me and my wife wanted to celebrate. We ordered the following:1. Grilled fish in Banana leaves2. Prawns burnt garlic rice3. Thai mutton chops4. Pepper fish with garlic5. Chicken curry Burmese noodles6. Assorted itemsTotal bill Rs. 3142And Malaka spice Baber successfully spoiled our evening. All the food items were stale, big time. The lamb chops were stinking and literally the meat were rubbery. The fish item were undercooked. The chicken curry was raw. I can understand if something taste bland, this was outright pathetic. The spring rolls were stinking .We always cherished Malaka spice at KP and this was second time around we tried with the Baner outlet. The first time also there was occasion and we had an est out. Today we ordered at home. Disappointed all along.
It was excellent experience. Very good quality tasty food, good ambience and good service.
Music was loud. Service was good. Polite people. Good ambiance
Nice ambience. Adequate parking place. Very costly place. Food average.
Love the Chinese food here ! Must try top hat, sizzling prawns, chicken starters and the list goes on. Staff is helpful & provide right suggestions
Amazing food and amazing service too.. loved it😋
South east asian cuisine. Courtious and pleasant hosts/ hostesses. Tasty dishes. Ambience could be better. Slightly heavy on the purse. Overall a good experience.
Excellent food and the staffs are very good.Only complaint is they serve the buffet in table and the quantity they serve for every dish is way too high so most of them get wasted.
One of the best Vegan food, experience was amazing, I had papaya salad and penang curry, it was just WOW.
This place never fails to impress. Year over year consistent, excellent tatse, same awesome service, reasonable price for the offering. It is the only restaurant in Pune that I have no hesitation in rating 5 stars. Ambience is awesome. They have valet for the ongoing parking issue for all Baner joints by the way so dont change your plan to visit here just for that. There are several oriental cuisine choices in Pune now but I can say they have a long way to go if they want to beat Malaka Spice consistently year over year. Keep it up guys..
A little on the pricey side but amazing food.
Authentic Thai food, mutton was mind-blowing but rates are really high..
Service and ambiance are good, it say it has a open terrace, and I even asked for it, but i didnt see it. Food is really great..
Very nice place n food. Rooftop is pleasant.!
Momos tempura phad thai was awesome
For thai food and exotic ambience, they are a good choice 👌👌
One of the best places for asean food in Pune. Great staff and good ambiance
Location, ambience, food quality and quantity, service - all good
Love everything about Malaka spice... The Food, Drinks, Ambience, Service...
To be very precise its a local dhaba style hospitality with a kp malaka menu ..I say that cozmy experience was such..two of us being dry day today ,ordered for 2 mocktails and a thai spring roll,to our surprise the server who took the order ,doubled up to become the bar tenderwhich we got to see in front of our eyes, and may b I guess the cook too .coz the virgin mojito tasted like lime juice sweetened n lot of mint in and the so called chefs special lemon grass n fresh pineapple didnt have the lemongrass or the fresh pineapple juice as was described by server..just a pineapple piece as presentation..the filling of spring roll too seemed stale ,which we realised late...isnt it a dhaba where one person does everything..then y call it a fancy name...ruining brand name..malaka at k p is anytime better n more authentic.I hope the owners read it and make some change in their hospitality.A sure no no...unless u have a tree whose fruits are of Vitamin M ;)
The most authentic and amazing place to have South East Asian cuisine. Indonesian, Burmese, Thai: all cuisines are great. My favorites: Spring rolls, Dimsums, Thai curry, Tom Phad Soup, Tom Kha Soup, Burmese Noodles, Burnt Garlic Rice. Must try for people who want to taste these cuisines. The service is awesome and the hosts help you select the food. Special mention deserved by veg Dimsums. They seem to be crafted with love and care and taste heavenly. All the best to the Malaka Spice team.
Ambience was amazing.. but food was horrible in taste
Quirky, charming atmosphere and one of the best selections of pan asian food.
Not only was the service slow, the food was very substandard taste. The worst Chinese food ever had yet.
Thai green curry could b better .rest is fine
Nice ambience and staffMalaka spice is top class restaurant
Amazing food and even more amazing service... A tad bit expensive, but thats ok
As the name suggests, the Malaka Spice restaurant uses a profusion of herbs and spices - that can be sustainably sourced from all corners of the Far East and South Asia - to offer customers an abundance of well-made preparations -in vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetarian options - that are flavourful, tasty and heartening in every possible way! The service is swift and friendly
Very good Asian cuisine..good portions..perfect for drinks and dinner
Service is too slow but food was good. Those who like thai food this is a great place.
Good food and friendly staff.
Good resto little expensive and only thai food available so with kids its little difficult ..
Awesome ambience, 5 stars for hospitality & taste was also good..
Great food, music and craft beer!
Exquisite food which you wont find anywhere else in Pune
One of the best place to have authentic Asian food..
Place was a little hard to find... Just look for icici bank and this place is right above it. Once you inside youll forget everything as the staff really knows how to take care of you. They suggest the right things that takes the guess work out of what to order. Gonna get my family here next time.
This place just stands out in terms of service and quality and taste of food....will always want to make u go back ...if u find it expensive u must still try and go once a while...Note: heavy on the pocket
So far one of the best i have been to great tasting food good service and a twist from the chef good place to visit
