Homely experience. By heart they love people to feed food . Excellent quality food , hygienic environment ,nice service & reasonable charges. Moreover its very traditional concept that that reminds you old golden days.

The restaurant is well known for non vegetarian food. They offered a variety of Maharashtrian and other types of non veg dishes. They have option of gluten free indian bread- millet bhakri. Mutton dishes are on Spicer side compared to chicken dishes. They have limited number of vegetarian options.As we were a large group we ordered chicken tandoori, chicken handi, malvani mutton handi, suka mutton fry, shev bhaji and dal tadka (for vegetarians), bhakri, butter roti and chapati.The staff was courteous and welcoming. Parking is available on curbside for bikes and cars.Cleanliness was good.

Good Ambience, Taste is above average.Suggestions:-1.You have to many waiters, instead you should add more people for making chapati/bhakri. It takes very very long time for serving. Food gets very cold until you get chapati/bhakri.2. Sadhi Mutton thali is not actually thali just bhakri,Mutton & rassa. You should add some more items like anda curry/solkadi as its pricey(INR 380)

This place is famous for the non veg curries with bhakri and rice. You get delicious and mouth watering food here which is more of a Maharashtrian style. They serve you bhakri as well with indrayani rice which has authentic fragrance. The ambience is good and service is also good. The rates are but high but the quantity is quite enough as per the rate.Overall a must visit place to try non veg cuisines.

Have to been to this place long time back. But recently visited few day back. Nicely renewed! Tried mutton thali. Super tasty. Mutton was cooked properly. Very soft. Along side with aalani mutton, kheema & rassa. Unlimited bhakari & indrayani rice. But this place is going to get crowded once covid restrictions are eased. Not pocket friendly. But its worth the money. Getting a parking spot for a car is difficult.

Visited this place by hearing the name by many people... But the visit wasnt worth to the publicity received... Food wasnt upto mark, especially what is named for, Mutton hard to bite due to its rubbery state as it was not well cooked... Ordered separately Mutton Dry they mixed Chicken in it. This restaurant serves a wide variety of Maharashtrain Cuisine especially cooked in very old traditional way on a “Chul”. Having tried its unlimited Special Chicken Thali all I can say is it’s delicious and worth its cost. Good ambience, spacious and kids play area were the highlights of my last visit and not to forget the water sprinklers cum fan to get rid of summer

Huge place located near Mhatre Bridge on the way to Erandavna, but leaves you wanting. wood fired kitchen has become a USP for many restaurants around pune. this restaurant tries to catch on the hype right from the name. the premises are covered in fiber sheets and make it extremely hot during noon. food is extremely spicy and portions are small. there are varieties of mutton , chicken etc.. but there is nothing to remember. service is tardy. parking can be an issue. rates are quite reasonable.

The place is famous for non veg, but we tried veg here 😏. The food is great. The bharit was superb. Also tried the Dal khichdi and chicken ulni rice. Service is quick and gives a traditional ambience.Would definitely visit again.

A good place to be if you wish to dine in candle light and are happy to spend about 600-750 for two people. Personally, I feel the light, when its dark, is a little dim considering the way the lights and table arrangement is done. Food quality is no doubt good. Biryani is falvourful and not just hot and spicy as some other places have. Burning charcoal served on the plate gives a nice smoked smell to the food, apt to what the restaurant name says-chul mutton- non veg(mutton) cooked on stoves (chul)where charcoal/wood is burnt to have fire for cooking.Ambience is simple and serves the basic need, not very flashy. Simple arrangment where you can expect good food. Cleanliness is something that can be further improved, specially around tables placed in corners. Having a sack of onions placed right behind your chair is not very pleasing for a customer coming to enjoy a meal.Has washroom facility.A good rating for food quality and an average rating for everything else about Hotel Chul Mutton.

Please dont keep any expectations from this Hotel as the food taste is not at all upto the mark. The overall decor and ambience is good but that doesnt help when you are looking for good food.We ordered Mutton Liver Fry & Wajdi Fry and both the dishes were curry and not fry. Then we ordered Chicken Angara which was supposed to be spicy but it was sweet and we had to have it with chutney to finish it.And lastly we ordered the main course. The Chicken Masala had the same spices that were used for the Starters. And to top over it our bill was 1200...So overall a very bad experience...

Best place to have mutton for everyone out there in pune!Very very very spicy and very very delicious!They cook everything on chul (a mud-made gas, like the one which used to be used in villages earlier). The food cooked on chul has something which makes it different and tastier than that of gas.I personally loved this place and their service as well.

Good layout and neat clean place, good staff.Mutton is too oily... If you compare it with outlets like Ran Mala in chinchwad which also serves Mutton on chulha... Need to work lot more on authentic tasty Mutton and rassa.

If you are searching for homemade nonveg maharashtrian thali then Chul Mutton is the best choice for you.I tasted here chicken thali with Jowar Bhakari.The taste is pure smoky flavor as cooked on natural earthan stove feels delicious and unique.I tasted thalis at different places in Pune this is unique and not much spicy.People who think spicy is tasty please ignore.This thali is tasty not spicy.Unpolished rice is really a treat for rice 🍚 lover.It was served with 1 Boiled egg, chicken masala, bhakri, chicken alni, red gravy, sweet gulabjamun, and unpolished rice.

The mutton thali and the chicken thali are quite good, but its not the best in the city. Id still go here again, however. Its also value for money.

Good taste but not the best....many other hotes have better test than this one butpeople on cash counter may be owner is very arrogant.Mineral water bottle costs ₹.30 on even MRP on bottle is ₹.20. I asked the same n he said we sell it for ₹.30 u have to pay 30rs....Really annoyed after that incident.For proof please see photo of my bill.

Good restaurant for Maharashtrian non vegetarian food. I always visit this place . They serve really nice. kababs. All other dishes are made on Desi chulha. Chicken was well cooked with great in taste. Service was good. Definitely going to try chicken biryani and some veg. Dishes next time.
