After unlock , this was one of tha places I hopped into and found quite good.I ordered~Pizza Daviola(Price ~ Rs 382)Thin crust pizza topped with Arrabiatta sauce buffalo mozzarella cheese, onions, oregano, basil leaves and jalapenosFettuccine Alfredo (Price~ Rs 286)Fettuccine pasta served with creamy cheese sauce and broccoliChicken Bolognese lasagna (Price~ Rs 381)Lasagna with chicken Bolognese saucePanna cotta(Price~ 209)(must try)The classic Peidmonte panna cotta served with caramel sauce
Been there twice in a week. Ravioli, Pasta and Tiramisu were great. So was Foccacia which the chef gave out to try. Its an open place to sit which suits me well. And the uniform Red and White decor of the place works out.The only complaint for me is the cutlery. Also Pizza tastes like it was adapted to Indian taste, Indianized if there is such a word. Stick with Ravioli and dessert items.
For my birthday, I was taken to this delightful little Italian café, one of an ever-increasing and astonishing assortment of restaurant choices in Baner. We chose it because we knew the cook from elsewhere, the Sheraton Grand, but had never tried out his newest enterprise. Hes the Roberto after which the café is named. And, oh my, what wonderful little miracles he whips up, all authentic Italian, flavored just right so as to titillate the palate without overwhelming it with spice, cream, or crust. I think we must have tried out half the menu, as you will see if you look at my pictures below. All scrumptious. The only minor disappointment for me was the Irish cream coffee, which I found too rich. Other than that, 5 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere is very bright in both colors and lighting, and the place has become so popular that it quickly fills up at night, so its not quite the choice for a quiet or romantic dinner. But its so cute and cheerful. Its perfect for a little upbeat celebration or a pick-me-up in energy.Roberto is effervescent and charming, and frequently comes out of the kitchen to mix with the customers -- another fun feature of this place. His business partner the manager is also out and about with customers. But Roberto is one of a kind, the quintessential Italian. As we were about to leave, he came over with a complimentary chocolate cheese cake in honor of my birthday. Most generous and appreciated. It and fond memories of Café Roberto will soon be savored back home.
Cafe Roberto is at Baner. This cafe is owned by Uncle Roberto who is the chef from Italy.Uncle Roberto attends so well with a huge smile on his face.⭕️Ambience - Small and cute. The cafe has comfortable white seatings with yellow bulb decorated ceiling.⭕️Food - Fancy Italian food directly from Italy.I had🌀Minestrone Soup🌀Broccoli Soup - I really liked it. Taste is too good.🌀Brochetta - Toppings of tomato🌀Asparagus Pudding🌀Green Lasagne🌀Devil Lasagne - Crispy and yummy🌀Orange Mermalade - Fresh orange juice with pulp🌀Quattro Formaggi cheese sauce - seems like salty kheer 😜 not recommended🌀Pasta Raivoli - Simple white sauce pasta🌀Risotto - Potato fillings in red sauce🌀Buratta Salad - Must have. Cafe Roberto is a new Italian restaurant opened in the busy streets of Baner. It is a pure vegetarian Italian restaurant. I was amazed to see that being an Italian restaurant, it is pure veg.On Saturday evening , I want with my friends to try authentic Italian restaurant. We ordered Burrata salad, Pesto gnocchi, Asparagus pudding, Bruschetta, Ravioli, Tiramisu. Asparagus pudding with cheese sauce.Ravioli was served with sundried tomatoes. Tiramisu was perfectly layered with coffee powder, which enhanced the taste more. Every dish served to us was lip smacking and I will surely recommend this place for Italian food lovers.
I have no idea how authentic Itallian food tastes. for me food which tastes good is good food. Ordered pasta with cheese sause and pizza bread pane margherita cheese. Pasta was really good but pizza bread was ok. Limited options available. Quantity is ok ok. Clean and neat ambience. Location is near balewadi phata.
Cafe RobertoKisine Sach kaha hai...Theres nothing more romantic than Italian food. Wholesome hearty true authentic Italian delighta straight from the kitchen of Mr. ROBERT prepared with passion by his own hands could set anybodys heart on fire. Started with the soups, broccoli soup was a must try, cheesy broccoli smooth soup with Italian spices. Yet the bestest part was their super cheesy and freshly baked green lasagne and devil lasagne. Perfectly spiced and super cheesy. Also their fresh orange juice was amazing and refreshing. This place has an excellence in desserts where, Tiramisu and bakes cheese cake were something out of the world and not to miss if you are ever visiting Cafe Roberto.
Pune is blessed to have some amazing Italian restaurants, but theres nothing such as too much. A small, quaint little cafe in the Creamstone Baner compound, Cafe Roberto is buzzing for all the right reasons.🚩AMBIENCE (3/5):The cafe has an elegant decor with a bright red and white scheme that lends it a very cute look. Although limited on space, the place doesnt feel crammed and can easily accommodate 60-80 people at a time. Classic Italian music on the speakers teleports you to Italy and the energy of the chef who personally comes to attend you makes one feel special; the place feels vibrant and will give you a warm feeling.🚩FOOD (4/5):🔺We started with the classic Italian bruschetta and minestrone soup. The soup was a bit tangy and had fresh flavours, whereas the bruschetta, topped with finely chopped tomatoes and basil, was baked in house and gave a nice crunch.🔺Then we had an asparagus pudding which I had for the first time ever and boy it was delicious. The texture was very soft with subtle taste of asparagus and the presentation was a delight to the eye.🔺Next we had lasagne: green lasagne and devils lasagne, both of which had a good taste although I liked the latter better. The devils lasagne had a tangy taste owing to the tomatoes and the former had spinach which was something I had never tried before. Both were good, but couldve been a little softer.🔺Burrata Salad: Burrata is a fresh Italian cow milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella, while the inside contains stracciatella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture. The salad consisted of tomato slices, baby spinach and burrata. It was very fresh, tangy and the burrata felt amazing with a very soft texture. The inside cream and outside mozzarella made a perfect combination and I highly recommend to try this here.🔺I also had the pasta here but felt it low on flavours and a bit bland.🔺We had three types of cakes and a tiramisu, the tiramisu is to die for! Its the best tiramisu Ive ever had by a distance! Leave everything and just come here to eat the tiramisu: trust me, youll not regret it.🚩SERVICE (5/5): The chef Roberto, is a very kind and friendly person with a sweet smile on his face. He takes care of the restaurant and also personally makes sure every customer is pampered. In love with the hospitality.🚩VALUE FOR MONEY (5/5): If you want to experience authentic Italian food at throwaway prices, this is the place to be! The prices are low and the quality is not compromised. Give it a visit and youll know!
Not that the rest of his food is unremarkable, but Chef Robertos desserts are particularly brilliant. My friends and I have been returning for more of his lemon cheesecake (still my personal favourite, Chef), but this time, he blew us away with the panna cotta-truly some of the best dessert Ive had in Poona. The cappuccino rounded off the desserts very well. Its practically a premium experience at very affordable prices! And thats one of the things that makes this restaurant stand out for me-really authentic Italian food of the kind for which youre usually used to paying through your nose, at the rates of a regular, everyday sort of eatery. The ambience is quite nice, especially if youre in small groups. Definitely a must-try in this neck of the woods in Poona.Other things on their menu that I recommend-the burrata salad and the alfredo tagliatelle.
This place has been doing the rounds for being the authentic Italian place in the scene and was pretty much on the top of my to visit places. This place will serve you no nonsense hearty Italian food. So dont expect over the top cheese and masala , but some good authentic Italian food. The place runs under the reins of Chef Roberto, whos a jolly man with an eye for good food.Heres what I would recommend if you happen to visit-Bruschetta - Fresh af tomatoes on Herby flavoured bread!!Broccoli soup- loaded with cheese, you barely even get the broccoli feeling.Asparagus Pudding- this is completely different, more of a texture thing than the taste. Pairs well with the cheese sauce. The Lasagna , Pasta and rissoto is cooked al dente and you can have as per your choice. The Tiramisu over here is pretty good has a hint of Baileys and would leave your tongue smacking for more.
Nice soothing environment and great coffee.
For desserts its a perfect place
This place is awesome!! The bruschetta was 💯 and so was the lasagne. The chef was actually an Italian who gave the restaurant an authentic Italian vibe. A must visit
Nice cozy place. Good Italian food available here.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Ambience is nice. Owner/chef is very interactive. I guess the portion size can be increased. Otherwise its good.
Lovely and lively place tucked away on Baner Road, Pune.Cafe Roberto - a vegetarian Italian restaurant 😊😁The long lines at the entrance and inside to be seated are sufficient proof of its popularity. Two of us - we had 3 pastas and a bruschetta topped with mixed ice fruit teas. Super Meal. Happy Tummy 😋Rs. 1100/- for 2 of us appears steep, but the food was so Wow 😉😀The Chef is from Milan and so he will try to get things right. The only grouse (imaginary 😛) I had was thinking that if it excelled so well in Veg Only, imagine how good the Non Veg could be 😁😊😁
Awesome place to have real Italian food with good quality of customer service
Most amazing service and food I have ever had. I actually went to the newly opened branch in Magarpatta but I cant seem to find their page yet as they opened just 4 days ago, but honestly this place has the most authentic Italian food and amazing staff ever. Looking forward to eating from here again.
One of the best Italian places on the Baner road. The authentic dishes by chef Roberto has made us come back for more. The tiramisu here is to die for and better ask for days special, we had chance to try this awesome feta- watermelon salad recommended by the chef!
Owned and taken care by an Italian chef who comes and personally guides you through the menu. Gnnocchi with Pesto sauce is worth dying for. Arabiatta and Ravioli are also great. Loved this place 3000.
The food taste of good thats the only reason to give it 4 stars but the problem here is u pay huge and get very less quantity of food
Authentic Italian food, ambience with a real Itallian Roberto Chef n owner in place. My 10 yo Son loved the pasta n gave it an 8.5. Great family atmosphere with an attached ice cream parlour ...again sons fav ice cream this side of town. We had pasta Arriabiata ...too good....Try Panna cotta n Tiramisu was chef home made ...again too good.OnlyWish they have gluten n lactose free menu for people like me who get tummy upset. Hence giving 1 star less .Karim served us with a smile n natural enthu so 5 star for him.😋💚
Robertto is name of the chef , he himself took our order , service is nice and taste is dope. Must try the Tiramisu cake its yummyyyyy
NEGATIVE REVIEW. Ordered tiramisu cake which was delivered in a paper box with the tacky & dirty edges. The cake had too much liquid that the box was all wet and because of it we couldnt take it out. I hv ordered the same cake twice & it was perfectly delivered in a plate with right amount of liquid . Despite of texting Mr kumar again & again , he didnt bother to reply properly & couldnt explain the reason. Bad customer service & this is how they treat their trusted customers. I have pictures , wish i could attach it & show to people who are trusting them
Ambience is okay. Ordered a Pizza and a Pasta as per the servers suggestion however food served includes nothing but only tomatoes and a strong pungent tomato gravy. The worth Italian food ever eaten. Not worth paying this price for being served tomatoes.
Chef Roberto makes magical Italian food! We loved the gnocchi in arabiatta sauce as well as the one in pesto sauce! As we waited for our takeaway, chef offered us a panacotta and watched with delight our faces that lit up as we spooned it onto our mouths!!Lastly, the tiramisu! All I can say is that eating it felt like we had died and reached heaven!! 😋😬
Pleasant ambience. Great food - we tried minestrone soup, bruschetta and a pink sauce pasta. seemed like good ingredients with authentic Italian preparation. Chef Roberto was himself attending to each customer.
Dont believe me...but do check the insides of forks! Not clean! I am here at 5:30 pm, they have just baked something, its lying open...flies ravishing the nicely baked stuff. Also, I have my minestrone soup garnished with flies! It had actually dead floating fly in it. When I complained to the Italian chef, he said I didnt put it thereNow you decide!
Run by a 5 star chef named Roberto and if u are itilian food person .. pls do visit this place ... Sure of you wont be disappointed.
It is best place Italian best food lasagne and tiramisu all food best but my favourite tiramisu and lasagna
A place to enjoy delicious and authentic Italian food. Soft in-house baked breads and cheese, the friendly and ever welcoming presence of chef Roberto and his personal touch to every dish served.... makes the place a worth to visit with your friends and family......I recommend it to every one who loves Italian cuisine....
Owner is not an indian, but his hospitality enticed us. He complemented us with a pineapple cheese cake. Food was decent. Prices are reasonable.
A good place and very different twist to pizzas and yum cheese
Ultimate place for Italian food. Everything tasty and fresh. Order takes time as every order is treated as special.
Excellent food taste and the welcome gestures by chef awesome .We tried Tiramisu and the pasta it was amazing.
The tiramisu is the best that I have ever eaten. If you love Tiramisu, look no further... Head here and get a spoonful of the greatest dessert ever.. And then order the next.. The kind of desserts needs to be had first and then the rest follow.
Truly authentic Italian pizza. Mr. Roberto is an expert at it. He makes and serves the pizza with equal love.... highly recommended..!!
A beautiful place to enjoy authentic Italian.I found the perfect pasta over here. Moreover the classic Italian tiramisu of this place is the literal definition of heaven. The Decor based out of red and white soothes the soul. Definitely a must visit
I had gone there for dinner and had a very bad experience. The cutlery was dirty. The replacements they gave were also not clean. The food was disastrous. I had ordered a soup and a lasagna. The soup had no taste and the lasagna served was some pre-cooked reheated thing they served 5 minutes after we had placed the order. Reading the reviews I as expecting good food. But was utterly disappointed.
The place is run by ex Sheraton chef - Roberto. The food is authentic Italian and is quite different from the usual Italian you get served elsewhere. The price is decent. Not for someone who is fond of Indian version of Italian though. A special recommendation is the panacotta.
The ambience was good but the the place and the food not worth going there. The authentic dishes also have a good taste so they should be careful about the food quality and taste.
Decent Italian restaurant. Nice ambience. Limited tables, just 8.Food quality good. Competitive pricing.Tables need to be more clean.Does not have washroom, not even washbasin. They suggest to use washbasin of adjacent restaurant, but they are reluctant. Should have at least washbasin in the restaurant.Parking on road.
Heaven for foodies! If you are a true fan of Italian cuisine then you should definetly visit this place. Make sure you meet Roberto, he is very welcoming and kind and he will make sure that you indulge in the food and flavours to the extreme! Roberto is lovely indeed. Most remarkable dishes were sun dried ravioli, devils lasagna and classic tiramisu.
The place is reasonably priced, quaint and seating is outdoors. The food is all vegetarian, no alcohol is served and portion size felt a little small. But the food quality was excellent. The Italian Tiramisu was simply superb, must try. Nice place to go in the evening.
Its lovely place... Very tasty cusines .. owner is very polite and humble... I will recommend this place to everyone.
A fabulous place. Roberto is an excellent chef and a great guy. His food creation involves the heart and soul of Italian cuisine. If you are in Pune and havent visited him yet, well there is something strongly to consider.Ciao
CIBO ECCELLENTE Excellent food. The place is very beautiful and welcoming . The Italian chef is really welcoming and cheerful. The food is very heartwarming and delicious. The ravioli is a must try! And be sure to ask for the chefs special for the day. One of the best Italian places in town in my opinion!
Cute little Italian place. Options are limited. Its not well covered for rain. Cleanliness cloud be better considering there are too many flies.
Cool place. All italian menu is good. Bike parking is there. Taste is good.
Outstanding little restaurant
The chef taste the pasta with bare toung and and put to the same spoon to the pan in front of me ,no hygienic at all...the chef literally uses the same spoon to make the dish and to taste also
The most incredible panna cotta I have ever tasted! And the pizzas are yum, too!
Excellent food! The chef is very friendly, really cooks with passion, one of the best Italian food places in town! (Chef Roberto was actually a chef at the Sheraton!) Must try the gnocchi and tiramisu.
Food is best when served hot. This is what they lag otherwise a good restaurant to try
We get authentic Italian pasta though the variety is limited. Its a good place to visit !
The food and service was great. However I caught the Italian chef putting his fingers in his mouth. So I removed three stars...
Superb ambience great food... Quirky n a quaint cafe right on the main road
Only food cooked by Roberto is very good. the bruschetta cheese is the one I like most.
The most authentic.. Just awsum.. try the desserts here
Amazing place. With wonderful people. They always have a personal touch with their food and ambience. Their food is decadent. Especially their buratta open sandwich and the bruschetta. Lovely place.
Excellent food, great service, friendly chef. Highly recommended
Full stars for Panna cotta and Tiramisu !!Absolutely mind blowing!!!!
This place is heavenly for foodies who like to savour some excellent tastes even if it means to pay a little extra. It is a bit pricey, but man the prices are worth the experience! The items on menu wont always fill your belly, but they will definitely satisfy you! Try Fusilli Alla Diavola Pasta and tiramisu. They are the best! Shame they stopped keeping Orange Juice though
Great food.. this is as close to original Italian as good as it gets.. its priced reasonably as well.. we liked the bruchetta, buratta, lasagna,pannacotta.. Now Italian cooking is never big on flavours but taste..chef helps u thru the menu as well... So dont expect strong flavours .. You need to have an open mind.. Its good on the palette and wallet😀
Authentic Italian Veg Food. One of the best Tiramisu in Pune !!
The place is really good if you plan to have a proper Italian meal.
Extremely fast service. Spinach and recotta ravioli was my favourite and the chefs special tiramisu and Panna Cotta for desert. Will definitely be there again shortly.
Nice hangout place for group of people who want to chit-chat over a good coffee.Must try- Hot Chocolate with Ice-Cream
Good food but bit expensive looking at portion they serve
I guess my search of authentic Italian food in Pune has finally come to an end. Cafe Roberto it is. The chef himself is Italian and literally has magic in his hands. The place is bright and beautiful, small yet spacious. Ambiance and colour scheme is very inviting. Once you taste any dish here, youll only want more. I tried, Ravioli with sundried tomatoes, Gnocchi in pesto sauce and Tiramisu. Each and every bite of every dish was lip smacking.People who are looking out for AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CUISINE, should definitely visit this place soon. You can thank me later. For me, this has become my go to place.
Maybe its because I didnt like the Italian flavour. But the food was acceptable, not great. One thing I liked was the Bruscetta. Simple dish, but elegant and tasty, affordable too. But the rest, the Devils Lasagne and the lemon cheesecake was pretty average. Nice-ish ambience. Service was excellent.
Excellent food, ambience and courteous staff and owners.
Amazing authentic Italian food! Good staff and great chefs...good place to spend an evening dining..
Portions are too small. Everything has a lot of garlic. One time visit. Tiramisu is nice
Menu is misleading and food quality is really poor. Asked for pizza no. 4 and as per menu it was supposed to have seasonal vegetables but what they offered was full of tomatoes, onions and bell peppers. The tomatoes were so much that it left a disgusting sensation in the mouth.
Good ambiances pasta was amazing didnt like the hot chocolate tho
Authentic Italian food. Prices are on little higher side, but food is too good and authentic
Good place to hang out
Cant stop eating here all items were too good.
White pasta is awesome...though I did not like the red gravy
Nice selection of coffees with authentic taste. Chocolate cheesecake was super.
Tasty Ravioli, good pizza bread, however no Pizza, awesome Tiramisu, totally authentic
The Tiramisu is out of this world, the best I have eaten in either Mumbai or Pune. Will keep coming back just for Tiramisu, other dishes are good too.
The best Italian food Ive tested in Pune. Truly authentic! Must visit!
Simply awesome, pure veg and good italian cafe.. Loved it
Cafe roberto in Baner is located right beside the Cream stone. It is an Italian outlet. We had gone on a weekend evening. The ambience is quiet nice with lights. We had ordered a penne alfredo pasta which turned out to be very salty, the chef got another one which tasted good, but honestly ive had better pasta. The tiramisu here is something ive never had anywhere else. Its different and very taste amazing. One of the best desserts in Baner. Would definitely visit here again for it.
Authentic Italian food, owned by Italian chefs. One star less as no non veg yet. Go for the lasagne, it is to die for.
It’s a must visit place , tiramisu is best and must try
Hey guys want to try something new then you must definitely try cafe roberto. The complete italain cafe with reasonable price and lovely ambience. Here i had bruschetta, pasta and devils lasagne🔥 it was very good. You will not get so tasty and completely Italian dishes like this in any other place. And at last The TIRAMISU, mouth watering dessert, i bet you will fall for it❤
