WROST place to get glasses at! Dont waste your MONEY NOR TIME! SASHA is rude and they take 1 month to get the glasses back to you after you paid and they told you a week. They had my daughter waiting a month for glasses that the manager said would be ready in 5 days!!! The guy in the corner back end of the store is professional the rest of the employees need to be fired!

The check up was great. It was fast and precise. But getting a pair of glasses is a pain in the behind. The prices are ridiculous for everything. The sales reps are pushy. They messed up my prescription and wanted me to pay to fit it.

Service was great. People were very professional. Will definitely recommend.

The awesomely royal experience began when Connie escorted me into the building. To explain the Covid precautions step by step with each action was truly humbling and shows respect. The young lady who engaged me in the intake process (sorry I didn’t get her name), continued the high level of respect by remaining information. Now Sasha was obviously a lady of longevity and great experience as evidenced by the multiple coveted choices she brought to me. Each one was easily my favorite. Sasha tarried with me every single step of the way. I have completed my time and I’m ready to go, and to my surprise I was fitted with a temporary frame, which contained my current lenses, so that I will not suffer blindly while I wait for my new glasses. This experience I will never forget. Thanks a million to the Team. Appreciated!!

It’s one of the nasty eye clinic in nyc. Please read my review before visit. I am their regular customer. Almost two weeks ago I book my appointment. When reached the front desk. I sing in. After waiting almost one hour the front desk call me and told me that we don’t participate in your insurance plane. More over she mentioned since June 2020 we are kicked out from that plan. The I asked so why you guys make my appointment. She mentioned who book your appointment. I mentioned the time I made an appointment The person didn’t mention her name more over the you still have a big sign out side of the main door about my insurance that you welcome that plan. Since she was keep arguing with me I told her I will review on google than she said my name is “Alex”.

I’m giving this place a 1 star on customer service, not the actually optometrist service. I stopped here this past Monday referred by a family member who recently got some very nice frames from here. I just wanted to look at their frames in order to make a decision on my purchase. However, the girl at the counter who takes the insurance information (Guyanese looking) wouldn’t even allowed me to look unless I scheduled an appointment with her which I find ridiculous and disappointing. They literally missed out on $400-$600 that I was looking to spend for the same frames that my family bought. They need to train better their staff and learn how to sell to people. I shouldn’t have to be forced into an eye exam to buy frames.

This is the best place I ever been and all the staff are very caring and attentive they make sure before you are out your problems is solved and u get the best care and well greeted by all staff and they treat u like a family member with a smile on their face , I would highly recommend this place to anyone just step in and you will see how everything will change thank you.

Absolutely terrible experience. Waited an hour for my scheduled time. Overcrowded. Took forever. They didnt even send me the numbers I needed to purchase glasses, and when I asked, they refused to give it to me. Do not go here if you dont need to.

Went in with an appointment and was the same as a walk in. Waited almost 2 hours to be seen (not an exaggeration). Doctor was nice and exam was quick, but once I came out I felt like I was at a used car dealership. Very strong pressure to spend over $1k despite being clear that I wanted to get a cheap pair that I can wear at work and such and then come back later when I had time to pick out my nicer pair. Was told the absolute cheapest pair I could get would be $200 for the frames (over $400 once you add in basic lenses and extra fees and $500+ with any kind of glare/uv protection). Got a nicer pair online for 65 including lens coatings.

The doctors and assistants are really nice and professional, but the sales staff everyone is talking about is truly nasty, all about the money. If they dont get what they want out of you they turn their backs on you like you never walked in. Glad to get my check up but will be going for my glasses somewhere else. Three words for the sales staff GHETTO ANGRY WOMEN. Dont dare go there......anywhere but there...trust me.

Gvs Flatbush has been my to go place for a number of years. Their equipment and experience has been something I haven’t experienced before, starting with the technicians room and ending with the manager and the sales staff.Angela (store manager) was nice enough to extend the warranty on my broken frames and replaced them at no charge, which I had trouble with at different establishments. The turn around time to get my complete order took much faster then usual as well because of their in house laboratory.I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The office is well designed into different sections which is cool. However, the game that are played by the staff is not for someone like me because I will snap. I didnt get my glasses yet but I will see if everything matches up. My insurance covered plastic glasses and I am okay with that...but if your looking for designer frames its a few steps away.

I went in for a new contact lens prescription- Dr. Serra was really helpful and recommended an even better brand. I was very happy with the friendly and professional staff and clean environment. Great exam-I will definitely be back.

Fast and modern. They checked everything in my eyes for the first time. I had Dr Sarah, she was young, very pretty, and friendly. The exam was great and I can see perfectly with my new pair of glasses. Highly recommend this place.

Dr. Smirnova is a phenomenal optometrist. I needed to get a new prescription for glasses and contacts. She spend so much time trying to find the perfect fit for me, I never felt rushed. She is so gentle and explained everything she was doing step by step. She answered every question I had and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely come back to her, its nice to finally have a doctor who really cares about her patients. She is there mondays and Thursdays.

Staff stood up talking whilst my mother and I we’re waiting for help. They never acknowledged us... we asked for help and was told to “give them a minute.” We just ended up leaving thankfully kings plaza was across & I was able to get a pair at another store.

The woman eye doctor was really nice and pretty. This gvs is perfect because you dont have to wait long to get called to get your eyes checked. Very fast service.

The Africa American, manager and Employees are very unprofessional. women.Have been going to GVS for over 6 plus years as a teen June 18,2019 I enter office politely with manners said good afternoon.After About 5 min, happened to see an individual who have been a troubled/ problem maker for my marriage. Employee Sasha james. I immediately went to manager to have a private conversation, manager mention that can’t happen. So I mention in her presentQuietly about safety and privacy of my documents. I proceeded to shop around for new glasses. My brother entered store continue to help me shop,around wise appointments and paper work was being Organize. 10 mins later police was called on me to be removed, never got my glasses.I then left store went to the parking lot driving off.police and employee running behind my car said Sasha wants to talk to me.( unbelievable)I was told all my information, will be transfer to the queens location; and I was giving a phone number. Call the number it happened, to be the Brooklyn store number, Instead of queens (makes no sense) co- work. Employee continued to harass me about Sasha wanted to talk to me. I felt uncomfortable violated and blamefully judged as a 6 Puls year patient. I was treated very unfair by new stuff members at GVS, I started my new trucking business, I need new glasses, But I Serve a That never sleeps.

BEWARE!!! If your looking to be scammed, sold overpriced frames and receive poor customer service then this is the place for you. I came here looking for polycarbonate glasses for my son and was given an outrageous price of $450 with insurance (TWU local 100 MTA). I absolutely do not recommend this place at all. Thankfully I was able to go to Kings Plaza to VistaEye Care and get glasses (puma kids) for a great price with transition and anti glare (140). If you value your time and money do not go here. You’ve been warned.

So I lost my glasses while at a waterpark and when I was ready to fill my perception I went to GVS with my mother. For my first time here it was a great experience! I was kindly welcomed and was helped to find new glasses in no time. I was even complimented for my maturity. The glasses i got were about $450 and they took $100 off ! Then I wanted transition lens and even got a $50 deal on those. Knowing that I needed my glasses right away, they tried and rushed the transition lens to come in 4 days instead of 3 weeks like it usually takes! Seriously I love this place more than where I got my first glasses from!

DON’T GO to this establishment. They are unprofessional and don’t do what is best for the customer. They talk you into adding extra things that you don’t need to your prescription then when things don’t work out correctly they turn around and blame you when it has to be fixed. The optician wrote me a prescription for reading glasses and they talked me into getting progressive lenses. After going back twice and the glasses STILL NOT being done correctly they REFUSED to refund me my money and turned around to tell me that they already accommodated me twice by fixing them! How is it my fault that I wasn’t measured correctly the first time and that I DIDN’T really NEED those type of glasses in the first place! This place and the people who work for them are DISGUSTING‼️The manager Angela is a RUDE racist thief who DOES NOTHING to help her customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE, HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE STAFF!!

Insanely over priced for frames. Plus gave me the wrong prescription lenses and wanted me to pay $350.00 for new lenses. Not willing to work with me. Definatley dont recommend to anyone.

I needed contats by saturday for my best friends wedding. I ordered them on tuesday and received a call Thursday saying they were ready!! :) The doctor was very pleasant and professional. I recommended my whole family to get their eyes tested here.

No good, they hide the MTA transit workers glasses frames and try to sale u the expensive ones, and tell u that progressive lenses cant fit in the few that they show,because they want to charge $150 . Then they give u the attitude as if u trying to get something for free.

The finish on the glasses started to chip. The staff was not very helpful. The tint on the lenses got a scratch and they refused to replace them even though the glasses are less then 6 months old. I will never go there again.

No customer service people person no friendly faces !!! Will take my business elsewhere
