Many institutes are there for PG and more.2 3 canteens are there with decent food quality. 2 3 guest house also present to stay but not very good in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. Road side gym and footpath for morning walk and exercise. Campus is fulfilled with trees and green environment.

University clearly lacks a vision for future. Outdated syllabus being taught in all the streams be it Engineering, Medicines, Media or any other stream.I would rate it moderate in terms of code of conduct but there as well is a huge scope of improvement. The leadership does not look serious about the future.No modern aids or technology being implemented in any of the departments, everything is mostly manual. Even after submitting a form online you need to manually go and pay the fees and submit the copy of the form again that you had submitted online.. I mean whats the logic???

Good place

Pune university is a beautiful place with lush green trees and serene aura. Its located almost in the middle of city making most of places easy approachable. It also merges with NCCS and IUCCA campuses. Places like NCL, IISER-PUNE are also nearby. But there are certain problems associated with it including absence of good and hygienic eateries, a proper chemist shop and above this all, safety. As there is no barrier for anybody to enter in the university, thats why there are lot of outsiders who visit here all the time. Hostel students (girls) are not allowed to go outside after 10:30 pm. And visitors are also not allowed in the hostel. Apart from these things, education is good here but its majorly department based. Some are very good and others are not. There is Marathi reservation (70%) in most of the dept.s so obviously its difficult to get through for outsiders. But there are other departments like dept. Of biotechnology which admit students by JNU-CEEB (national entrance exam) and funded by DBT, govt. of India. There is a long list of universitys successful alumni showing its capability to ignite minds of youth.

The place is amazing for walks. You can get ur car/bike here. Theres plenty of parking available everywhere. The place is lush green, full of greenery. Its even better during monsoon season. Temperature is usually 1-2 degrees lower than city temperature.You can play football, basketball anytime during the day. Theres a huge library for students who study in Pune University.There is a gymkhana which is not expensive and less crowded too.Almost from 2000 I love to visit this place at any time of the day. Best place to workout in the morning and evening too.One of my favourite place in Pune.

Whats the use of the number when it is of no use.. I have called more then hundred times on all the numbers but no response at all.. What we students will do if you dont communicate at all... My exams were postponed due to Covid 19 in the month of March 2020 and I am student of external department and its been 6 months theres no update from University at all... What about us our year will be wasted what to do next please bother to update

This review is not for the educational facilities. University Campus is very famous with the runners and the cyclists. The place has a lush green cover and offers beautiful trails. Many Punekars visit campus in the early morning and evening for running or walking as there is less vehicular activities inside.

Best University in Maharashtra, Faculties are good. Administrative Management also good at their level. They take time due to lengthy processes for accounts and administrative work. Students should have keep patience. University staff never underestimate any single student, if he/she have proper documentation.

Nobody is answering calls...i have tried all numbers.If someone have any important work what should we do then...i am trying all numbers from last 30 minutes.....on some numbers someone is picking up the call and not saying anything.

Was an exchange student (European) here 2014-2015. The education is alright in my experience. However, this campus lacks some freedom and is quite segregated, both between men and women and international and Indian students. A female and a male were for example not allowed to sit next to each other on campus after 8 PM, even in well lit areas within the guards sight, and even if they are studying together. I would recommend that you choose a less conservative university, like Ive heard Symbiosis is, if this matters to you.
