The Mandai is one of the the original and oldest fruit and vegetable markets of Pune. The building is a beautiful 19th century structure and is one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. It is a hustling and bustling place where people from all walks of life congregate to buy fruit and vegetables at a good rate. The Mandai cha Ganapati is also very famous and is supposed to fulfill prayers of devotees.

All types of vegetables and daily cooking needs products available in mandai. The Sharda Ganpati is an attraction during Ganesh festival. Usually remains crowded. Parking vehicle is a major problem. There are 2 Paid Parkings available but cant tell availability of parking space.

This place is heart of pune city, i must say. Crowded place for tarkari, shopping for utensils, fruits, and many more.... Mandai Ganpati bappa is also situated in this premises.... This place have historical value too. Must visit once. But take care of urself , use mask and sanitiser .

Its a hustling bustling place in early morning. There is too much traffic & stinky sometimes but that is really good place. This market is also historical place. This market is very near to Pune Railway Station.

Its a vegetable and fruit market , you will always get fresh produce throughout the year. There are also few dry grocery stalls. There is Car and Two wheeler multilevel parking that charges on hourly basis. The ongoing Metro rail work has made the place more cramped. Best time is to visit is early morning if you want to pick good quality fruits and vegetables.

Its famous for Sabji, kitchen utensil purchasing. Many shopless vendors also sit with different varieties of items like conchshells, clothes, kitchen related items to sell here around mandai parking.

Nice place to buy vegetables and fruits and some indian wedding and functional stuff , you will find the best cold drinks and nira and sarbat here in small colddrink shop in corner to chill if you feeling really hot in summer or cause of crowd, you will have parking issues here but mahanagar palika created multilevel parking system here , its difficult to get space in this multilevel pay and parking to park your car , if you are lucky you will get space , best you go with auto or cab , if you are using bike to travel here then its very difficult to get parking space for bike as well

Perfect for whole weeks vegetable shopping on Sunday morning ... The veggies are not necessarily cheap but definitely better quality compared to whats available at regular sellers... Plenty of sellers around so theres a choice of where to buy from. Some specific sellers are popular with some families. My mother buys coconuts only from a seller called Pavgi here. Overall very satisfactory veggies shopping can be done here.
